I called this office four times over three weeks and did not get a single return phone call. I find it impossible to believe that anyone in this office could help anyone since they cant even operate an office. Do you really thing they can help you manage your life? I would stay away from anyone who is this incompetent.

I scheduled an appointment which was 4 months out. They had no earlier appointments. Today after waiting 3 months I receive a call canceling my appointment and told there no longer accepting new patients. I’m livid. I’ve been in need of doctors care and now have to start over on waiting for another doctor appointment.

HORRIBLE!!!! I would give it ZERO stars if possible for total lack of empathy for mental health patients. Waited over 2 months to get an appointment just to have them cancel it without calling or texting even though ALL information was entered through a patient portal. They told me it was the patients fault. Unacceptable. Disgusted. I would suggest finding a doctor/practice who actually cares about mental health.

Dr. Fabisiak is the most professional, caring psychiatrist I have ever known. She is compassionate, patient and kind. She is very honest with her diagnosis and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend her to anyone searching for a psychiatrist.

So happy to have been recommended to this office! Deana is very knowledgeable, patient & understanding. She actually listens to your concerns , unlike other doctors I’ve been to who are pill pushers, she is not. She has me on the right dose of medications that work best for me. Today I was a few minutes late to my apt & she waited for me! Their office closes at 5 & I got there at 5... what other office would have waited knowing they’re leaving at 5?!? Hands down Deana is the best!!!! Thanks Deana!

My Mother has been a patient with this Dr for some time while residing in a Nursing Home, Clearly because I am a single mom I didnt have the time needed to see her daily or help make decisions on her medical behalf so that part is on me. I have my mother home now, and noticing her behaviors with (All) of these medications she is on, I have had to have appointments with Dr. Fabisiak to change or take my mother off medications because they have completely changed who my mother is. During this process she has been taking off some but put on more and now is completely mentally disabled waking me up like a drug addict @ 3:30am feening for medications.... during the process of trying to fix the medication she was recently put on I am told since my mother is no longer in a facility she has a co-pay and owes for the visits she has had while trying to fix medications so she is happy but normal... however also told she cant be seen unless these are paid, and I will have to pay for the visit to fix what they just put her on as well. I feel that most psychiatric doctors work for the pill companies.... however I feel this office mostly is not consistent with actually caring for their patient needs and definitely not up front things should be explained to people as far as costs change of costs, and definitely if they really cared about helping my mother she wouldnt have to pay $40 every time her medications need to be adjusted because she is having phone appointments and clearly isnt being diagnosed properly!

Updating my review. Called to schedule an appoint for the next available time and that was fine. Then, they asked how many days worth of medication I have and it was not enough to make it to that appointment so they helped me out and made sure I wasnt going to run out. This is the opposite of what happened a few months ago so Im glad to know things are getting better (hence the updated review).

I have been Dr F’s patient for 4 yrs and she has been a life-saver to me! I came to her with an established diagnosis and years of poor response to meds. I had seen plenty of doctors who hardly look up from their prescription pad to see that there is an actual human being sitting before them. Dr F is different! She knows me, knows my stressors, knows my family dynamic and remembers me as a whole person from visit to visit. Some of this is due to my consistency in keeping the same doctor over time, but most of it is due to Dr F’s dedication to truly helping her patients. She does indeed address my needs holistically- medically, mentally, behaviorally and spiritually. She is not only extremely knowledgeable about meds but also has the humility and open-mindedness to recognize the value of our spiritual health. Yes, she often runs late, but when it is your turn to sit in her office you will be grateful for the time and attention she gives to each of her patients. She has stayed with me past closing time more than once when i have needed her. If you are one who tends to have trouble feeling that any doctor “doesn’t listen”, consider making notes of your concerns or questions before you get in to see the doc. Dr F will listen with care and compassion, ask questions, and look for solutions. I am so grateful that a friend referred me to her when my previous provider was out of ideas. Dr F (and the man upstairs) saved my life!

Dr. Fabisiak is the best! She’s warm, caring, understanding and ethical. Dr. Fabisiak is very knowledgeable. She’s well aware of medications, their side effects and truly does her best to ensure that you truly require medication before prescribing anything. Dr. Fabisiak is quite easy to talk to; she also understands that if she does prescribe medication, it’s due to the fact that taking the medication outweighs NOT taking the medication. She’s a sweet lady with a deep understanding of trauma, loss, and emotional pain. I always feel better after I see Dr. Fabisiak. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

This is an update to an earlier review. Be aware you need to be prepared to run late. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of punctuality. That being said, Dr. Fabisiak is a seasoned psychiatrist who is highly skilled and extremely thorough! If you already know you’re a complex case the time issue may be worth scheduling around, that’s what I am finding.

I usually go to see Justin, and he has been extremely helpful.I had to go in to get medication refills, and the only time available that worked with my schedule was with Dr.Fabisiak herself. I had never spoken with her before, and I never intend to again. She spent the majority of time talking at me, so I didnt really have time to talk at all. She criticized me for not being religious, told me that my relationship would fail without the stability of religion to guide it. She seemed to be offended when I told her my boyfriend and I wanted to start a family without being married first, something that is a RELIGIOUS concern, not the concern of a PSYCHIATRIST. She told me that to be happy I need to pray every day and stated that without religion, theres no reason for my boyfriend to be with me. She said verbatim, without belief in the rules of religion, whats keeping him from being with someone else? And I said the fact that he loves me and wants to be with me???? To which she gave me a passive aggressive ooookay, well think about it.This was EXTREMELY unprofessional and offensive. I felt that someone who is supposed to be helping me just had her own religious agenda and my beliefs and who I am as a person arent good enough. Seeing this doctor made me feel even more depressed.

I have never had a bad experience at this office. I see John Hess. He is very knowledgeable and considerate and really listens and cares to help with what you may need help with. I like that he doesnt try to immediately shove pills at you but tries other behaviour therapy methods that can also assist with multiple issues. Its nice to not feel like a number. If you havent seen John, I would definitely recommend you give him a try.

Probably the worst experience of seeing a doctor I have ever had. I was a new patient sent for an evaluation. Her receptionist had to leave early because here child had an issue at school, she was very sweet and told me the doctor would come and get me soon. However, the doctor clearly forgot she had a patient left in the waiting room. I waited 55 minutes after the patient before me left, then I went searching around the corridors and found her. She said she was busy making calls, allowed me in and proceeded to shout at me when I started to cry telling me there wasnt enough time as she had an evaluation to do. She kept on forcing my symptoms into her preferred diagnosis but I didnt fit the category so she got more and more annoyed. Then, a colleague knocked on the door and she left the room for 15 minutes and asked me to watch her dog whilst she was gone (she had her dog in the office with her). I couldnt believe she left me, a new patient, for all that time. I kept looking at my watch and wondering how she could do this to a vulnerable, new patient. When she came back to the room, she went straight back to her computer, and seemed even more frustrated. She was rushing and never looking up at me just asked me questions and answered for me - she got really angry if I disagreed with how she thought I should answer her questions, its was unbelievable. It was simply the worst experience ever. She concluded I was bi-polar but Ive never had a manic episode in my life - she reached this diagnosis because although I was depressed when asked what cheered me up I told her taking photographs of nature. This in her opinion was manic . This woman should be struck off. The most unprofessional experience ever, the wrong diagnosis, left alone for 15 mins.I was in such a state after the appointment for a long time, because the drug she prescribed me left me feeling as though my head would explode and I didnt sleep for 3 days despite only taking half the prescribed dose. This woman may well have her favorite patients, but she was clearly not prepared to see a new patient the day I went, treated me apaullingly, rushed and totally misdiagnosed me and gave me a drug which was horrendous. If I hadnt been so down on myself, I would have reported her. But guess who is believed between a psychiatrist and a patient? Ive waited this long to write this review and to tell other people to stay away from her. I wanted to wait until I felt better before I knee-jerked. This is a valid and honest review. As a professional myself prior to my retirement, I know how many rules she broke that day and was very damaging to me. On top of this she put a huge charge into my insurance company. This woman needs to learn professionalism, common courtesy and respect at a minimum and then she needs to learn not to try and fit a patient into a diagnosis without taking the time to listen to what the patient is saying. Awful experience and at a time when you most need help and support. Please be careful.

Went as moral support for a family member. She was rude, disrespectful and gave us dirty looks. All she wants to do is push MEDS. When we expressed we didnt feel it was a clinical need that we feel its situational and we wanted a different approach such as healthy coping skill, behavioral changes she was offended. I wasnt even the patient and i was about to politely tell her about her poor bedside manor. In this field you would think appathy, empathy are crucial to people suffering from mental health issues. As a nurse in this community i was shocked but remember other medical professionals arent fond of her. And this with most of the other reviews patients get the same impression.

This is the worst experience I have ever had and am currently fighting (on the same side with) the insurance company about the office bill. I had two appointments with Dr.Fabisiak, neither lasting more than 30 minutes each. She charged me and my insurance company over $460 for each appointment adding all sorts of extra charges on the bill, two of which were fraudulent. She also spent about half the time in each appointment telling me stories about her other patients. Extremely unprofessional and I will not be going back.
