When I first came to Dr. Stoyka, I had teeth missing and my self confidence was very low. Since being a patient of Dr. Stoyka, she has transformed my smile and given me the confidence to smile again! I have been a patient of Dr Stoyka for 2 years and could not have been more pleased…until now….-I had my bi annual in January 2021,, paid by insurance, but for unknown reason Dr office never received the check they had sent.-fast forward to July 2021, my next appointment. I had since lost my job of 26 years due to COVID. After my appointment the hygienist informed me that my insurance co had “denied” my claim. They told me I must pay for it.-I came home, contacted insurance, they told me check was sent, gave me check #and amount, and told me it was not cashed. They immediately canceled 1st check, reissued payment-I called Dr. Stoyka’s office, had to leave a message with info, asked to refund my payment.-I called Tiffany(billing) and was told that I would be refunded my pmt on 8/15(that is when credit is processed).-called Tiffany again on 8/17, told her I don’t have refund. She said she’ll get it straightened out and call me back in an hour. She never called me back, so I called her, she said she’s on hold with the person who will process the credit, she’d call me back.-at about 5pm, I again had to call Tiffany back. She told me I would be refunded today, something about how they normally just send a check…..but they would credit me today and “that I didn’t listen to a thing she told me”. I again asked Tiffany to please just call me back as it was completed…,then she very rudely hung up on me.-it’s now 8pm, still no call back from Tiffany. Looks like I’ll just need to reach out to Dr. tomorrow, Tiffany obviously does not care At All!!! They have just lost me as a patient.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, GO TO ANOTHER DENTIST WITH REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHAME ON YOU TIFFANY.

Possibly the worst dentist I’ve ever had. Started good 3-4 years. Then staff turn over and doctor becoming money driven. Final straw couldn’t get an appointment when I was having major pain turned out to be an infection that I treated with my own antibiotics. Made appointment, schedule for two weeks, got call today said they wanted to refer me to a root canal specialist without even seeing me. My infection had nothing to do with root camel, go figure. The new receptionist doesn’t have a clue and is never very helpful. Stay far away from. This place.

I have insurance and was still charged $320 for myself and husband to get cleanings. Even after insurance covered the claim, it took 6 months to get a refund with lots of runaround. Huge turnover in staff. I really hoped this would have been a more pleasant experience...

My experience at Dr. Stoyka’s office was so amazing!Dr. Stoyka is professional, compassionate, experienced and knowledgeable.Because of past experiences and the pain I was experiencing, I was nervous about my appointment . She took time to explain the procedure and truly listened to all of my questions without making me feel like they were silly or making me feel rushed. She didn’t start the procedure until she was certain that I was comfortable.The office was very clean and the the front desk staff were so kind, helpful and efficient.I am so grateful to finally have found a wonderful dentist.Without hesitation, I would highly recommend her to anyone needing dental care.

Dr. Stoyka has been my friend and dentist for many years. I am so thankful to have her and wonderful staff caring for my implants, dental needs and cleanings. She is precise with her implant and dental work and incredibly compassionate. My wife and I just love her and have complete faith and trust in her dentistry. I have been having my teeth cleaned by Dr. Stoyka for years. She is gentle on my teeth and does a great job cleaning them. She is friendly and loves her job. She has a positive attitude and is always willing to chat up a conversation. She is efficient.

So awful. The owner of this establishment should not be around other human beings. The fact that she has a medical license is absolutely insane to me. While waiting for an appointment, I literally heard her threaten her employees. After hearing that, I didn’t even want to put my real name on here...She is a very very hateful person and should seek professional help. I didn’t even wait for my appointment after hearing how she treated her employees. I should have looked at the reviews because it looks like this happens a lot. I am not a person that writes reviews, so this is really saying something. My guess is that she’s offering some kind of deal to those who write good reviews, or she’s having her friends fake them for her. Craziest thing is that I ran into her in town somewhere, and she was just causing a scene somewhere else....can’t make this up. DO NOT GO HERE!

Probably my best ever dental experience! Dr. Stoyka friendly, attentive and exceeded all my expectations. I’d recommend this place for anyone who gets nervous going to the dentist, as I felt completely comfortable throughout my whole visit. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Stoyka and her staff are wonderful!!! Theyve completely changed my mind about going to the dentist! First she saved my cracked tooth that I thought I would need to be pulled! Then I went in for a cleaning and believe me I have not been to the dentist in years. Normally a person would be embarrassed to say that but I am so utterly satisfied that I think its more important to share how great Dr. Stoyka is then worry about me.

I wanted to like coming here, but I am in constant pain after having fillings put in. I couldnt believe how the staff was treated there. 2 stars for a nice set-up and location. After two visits, I will not be going back due to my issue not being fixed. I am not one to write negative reviews, but the pain is constant and I was blamed for my fillings falling out. I wish I could rewind time and just go elsewhere. I was asked to give a 5 star review, but I just cant.

I was a new patient and this was my first visit to Bradenton Dental Center. Dr Stoyka was amazing. Personable , friendly and very thorough during my exam. Arlene was my hygienist , and I have to say this was the first cleaning Ive ever had that was painless. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

Saw the reviews here and noticed they were not very good. Thought I would give it a try anyway to see for myself. Waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room ahead of the scheduled appointment. Did not sign the log book because the log book was not there to sign. I would have knocked on the frosted glass panel between the waiting room and the office, but the sign on the wall rudely said Dont knock on the glass.. Finally the frosted glass window opened while I calmly waited in the chair and the office lady, Kathy, said: What do you want? (with other customers in the waiting room). Kathy told me she did not have any appointment and that I was apparently at the wrong dentist office. Explained to Kathy that I was at the correct place. Left immediately looking for better treatment elsewhere.

Beatrice - dental hygienist is amazing. From childhood dental experience, I grew to fear going to the dentist. She was so gentle and kept checking in. Im a 40 yr old baby when it comes to the dentist and I no longer fear coming. Even when getting any dental work. Definitely recommend.

If you want to go to a place that told my wife she had 9 cavities and told my daughter she needed a 1000 dollars in dental work. And come to find out my wife went to see another dentist and she only had 2 that wasnt bad at all. Now Im waiting to see if my daughter needed all that work and she was also told she has several cavities that Im sure was a lie. You want to put your family in that situation go ahead. You deserve what comes next.

I went in for a simple teeth cleaning that was covered under my insurance, I left paying over $100.00. When it came time to leave i was informed the mouth wash I was given, and that the dentist looked below the gum line on one of my teeth (which was fine) wasnt covered under my insurance. That would have been fine but I wasnt informed about the additional charges, and it was done to seem as if it was part of the insurance covered teeth cleaning. This was done completly on purpose to milk every possible cent out of my visit, me and my insurance company.

My family has been using Dr. Stoyka for many years and have always been happy with the care. She remembers us and keeps track of the kids changing life events. We feel at ease and comfortable with her and her staff.

This is my first time at this clinic and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars ! Amazing service !the hygienist Beatrice made me feel comfortable and safe . The absolute worst dentist I have EVER been to. I’ve never left a review because I usually don’t feel the need, but want to warn anyone looking into this office. Do not go here. Dr Stoyka is so very rude, not only to me but to her employees as well. I’ve been in 4 times to get a crown on and every time the crown didn’t fit 🙄 and not to mention every time I go in, there are different employees, probably because she’s so rude and they quit real quick. Dr stoyka was hateful to me and blamed my bad service on bringing my baby into the office with me because I have no childcare or family to help me. She is the worst. Waste of time and money

Dr Stoyka is a very thorough Dentist, I went in for the first time and she put on 2 crowns, she was very particular that the color matched and before I walked out of her office that my crowns looked good and I was happy, my experience with Dr Stoyka was incredible she is an exceptional dentist and also makes you feel comfortable and she really cares about her patients! Dr. Stoyka has a new patient now for life!

Dr. Stoyka, nothing short of excellent from every aspect. Customer service, professional, great staff and most importantly one who loves what he does for a living. Prices are more than fair and they will not advise service that is not needed. Definitely a family environment and location is very central in Florida.

I agree with all the negative reviews ,she is possible the worst dentist and business person I have ever dealt with. She took two tries to get the correct crowns replaced. She promised not to take two weeks on the second set, but did any way. I asked her to prepare a plan with my new insurance to do the dental work I needed and email it to me. She agreed and her office manager was to do that. We set a tentative appointment based on her getting me that information as I wanted to budget for it. I canceled first appointment as plan was not emailed and asked for the plan to be emailed and rescheduled the appointment. The plan was never emailed and I got a call and a bill for a missed appointment. I think it was the dentist not the office manager that actually called about the missed appointment. I asked about the treatment plan that I had never received. She claimed it had been mailed, I checked it never was. Then she claimed I owed her for 2 hours and she would turn me over to collections. I still needed dental work so was confused why we went from working out a misunderstanding to screaming that she would send me to collections. I believe she is bipolar or the worst customer service person I have met. I went home and looked at the bill and decided I would pay for an hours fee as disclosed on her website and was preparing to send a check ,when I received a collection notice. I can not believe she is in business and the mouth where she did the work feels sensitive at the gum. This is one Dental Practice to avoid. I will never seek out a doctor, dentist or anyone I plan to do business with without checking reviews on the Internet.

This was the worst experance with a Dentist ever. They charged too much and didnt complete a teeth cleaning, said I had to come back to finish it in 2 weeks. Refused to complete it right then. Then they charge for x-rays I didnt ask for, I just went in for teeth cleaning on my Medicare plan. This was to be a $39. fee. They never said the x-rays were extra or I would have stopped them. Now I need to have some work done at another Dentist office and they are making it difficult getting copies of the x-rays to him.Keep clear this is a rip-off Dentist!

Dr. Stoyka and her entire staff are superb. In addition to an extraction, I also had to be fitted for upper and lower partial dentures. She and her assistants were careful, kept me as comfortable as possible, and assured me the dentures would be ready as soon as possible. Dr. Stoyka and her staff are very funny and friendly, which is so important in a doctors office, particularly in a dentists office, since we associate it with pain and discomfort. I would encourage anyone who is new to the area to use her for their dentist. Worst dental experience I have ever had. The dentist is very rude and actually yelled at me when I called to question a charge on my bill. Then she hung up on me. She is very unprofessional and has terrible business acumen. I will never recommend her practice to anyone, ever. My best advice? Use a different dentist.

I went to her on 3 seperate occasions to have crowns done. Beginning at the end of 2009 and finishing in May of 2010. She was extremely rude to her office staff while I was there on her chair. She was Quick and rude with me when i was ask the most basic of questions. Any how, it is NOW Nov and I have to have ALL of the work REDONE that she did. TO make things worse, I hit my dental cap for the year and have to pay out of pocket to get them replaced......NEVER EVER GO HERE ! !! !

Just to let everyone know I have never felt compelled to write a review until now. This is the absolute worst dentist I have ever been to in my life. I went in with a hole in my tooth and she told me I needed to crowns immediately. She also told me that it would cost $1300 instead of what my insurance told me of $500. When I told her that I would like to wait and talk to my insurance plan and told her I was having surgery soon she told me they would not do my surgery if I did not have the crown in place prior to the surgery. I felt like I had to get the crowns and proceeded to get a credit card that conveniently they provided me the app for and approved me for at the office. She charges a $28 fee for just coming to her office whether you should or should not have a copay. She gets you to sign a contract that you will pay the difference between what she charges and what your insurance pays. I tried to call to get them to rectify this situation or that I would be writing a review. She said they would not reimburse me and that I should not write a review due to bad karma coming to get me. Then I look on here and see all the bad reviews. How funny. It looks like the bad Karma will be coming around to you Dr. Stoyka.

The only reason why Dr. Livy E. Stoyka, DDS does not have zero star rating is because you have to choose at least one. This dentist should be investigated by the Florida Board of Dentistry for unethical practices.My wife and I went there a few years ago, and my wife was told (get ready for this) that she had 12 cavities! TWELVE! This is someone that has NEVER had a cavity in her life, and this scam artist tried to drill into her teeth and fill TWELVE nonexistent cavities.Needless to say, when questioned, the dentist reacted very negatively and my wife literally got up from the chair in the middle of the appointment and walked out. When we attempted to gain access to our dental records, the dentist told me that they dont belong to us. (?) We finally got them and took them to our old dentist (that was not taking our insurance at the time) and he examined her teeth and said, Everything looks good to me. UNREAL!Under no circumstances would I recommend this dentist.

Shes a very good dentist who does her best to please and take care of her customers as much as she can, I give her 5 stars. Hands down.

More like horrible. Dr. Stoyka and her office staff are rude. My daughter missed an appointment. Went there in person to explain and was told she had to pay $120.00 missed appointment fee. When she tried to explain the office staff and Dr. Stoyka came out and started yelling at her and said if she didnt pay it now they were turning her into to collections (the appointment missed was 2 days prior). I couldnt believe the way they were acting so told her to just pay it. Good thing she looked on the contract that they have you sign because it said missed appointment fees were only for $60.00! I wouldnt trust this office or her staff for anything and urge previous customers to review their bills to make sure that they were not billed twice or over what was previous discussed.

Dr. Stoyka is a nice lady, however her office staff is a little off the rocker. I tried to cancel an appointment due to my work schedule and they did everything in their power to make sure I didnt cancel even though I planned on rescheduling. Visiting my hygenist was like getting my teath cleaned by a defensive end from the Tampa Bay Bucs. And lastly Im not sure if it is the way my insurance is set up or what but you only see Dr. Stoyka once a year where my old dentist you saw everytime you visited. The office staff is the biggest reason for changing dentist Im not sure what their deal is but they just arent with the program.

They are too busy collecting cancellation fees and extra fees from patients that are suppose to be covered under their dental plans...and when you ask for the WRITTEN proof that they can charge these fees..DONNA SAYS they dont need it in writing...........STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They dont even deserve one star however, I had to check to get this posted

Horrible experience the dentist was very rude the pricing was not matching what my insurance company was telling me the equipment looked old and falling apart when I informed them That there prices was not matching what my insurance company told me that I wouldnt be able to pay the extra money the dentist then threaten to Bill me $30 for cancellation was my first time visiting this dentist and I will never go back.
