From the moment we arrived to the ER, every member of the staff was courteous, welcoming, compassionate, professional and efficient in caring for my husband. Jill, the Charge Nurse, ensured his timely triage and room placement. When she saw he had been given a wheelchair that did not support his legs, she replaced it with one that did. She was very kind and helped calm our anxiety, telling us how much she enjoyed working at Bethesda and how good the surgeons (my husband would be needing) were. Ronnie, his nurse successfully started his IV and obtained his blood on the first attempt though my husband is a notoriously difficult stick. Ronnie checked in frequently to be sure we were fine and ensured efficient transfer of care, as did Dr. Dvor who also clearly explained all that planned. Elisa from registration was also sweet and helpful. The entire ER experience was made pleasant by everyone we encountered. They collectively communicate an atmosphere of caring. We highly recommend Bethesda to anyone seeking quality emergency health care.

I received five star service from the moment I walked thru the ER doors. I was made to feel comfortable every moment I was there. The protocols in place for safety were followed. And overall the staff was great and very informative.

Hospitals have come a long way from the days of long waits to be seen and treated. I applaud Bethesda’s staff from this current intake experience and the expedience in adequately treating my pain. Even diagnostic tests were started quickly. The issue comes after that. The treatment of patients simply waiting to be released is inexcusably disrespectful. And your facilities need work. I was brought into a small ER room that was recently converted to a patient room. The room itself is not an issue but staff saying, sorry I have no clean sheets for this certainly is. They covered what they could with inadequate bedding. This is minor. At 9:40 AM the nurse advised the results were back, confirmed I had a kidney stone, advised they called in two prescriptions, and that the doctor would be in to go over everything and give me a strainer. Due to Covid protocols my wife could not come in with me. Perfectly understandable but that meant I had to call her for a ride when ready. I asked the nurse how long to be released and she advised 30 minutes. I asked if she was sure as hospitals tend to be very bad about releasing patients in a timely manner. She advised yes and that this Doctor is very good about getting that done. Based on that I called my wife who arrived a half hour later. She had quite the wait in the parking lot as I was actually released at 11:30. I am certain the Doctor got busy with medical issues, expected or otherwise, but that should be the hospital’s problem, not the patient’s. This is not a new issue, or a surprise, and it is long past time that hospitals revise their protocols to ensure patients are respected enough to not sit around literally for hours waiting just to be released. Additionally, when released, it was a paramedic that came in with my release papers and not the Doctor coming in to go over the results and medication as is customary. And I received no strainer from this individual. There is no excuse for the delay, no excuse for the breach in protocol when released by a paramedic, and no reason hospitals cannot find a more respectful way for patient releases.

Very little wait time to be seen and treated. All doctors, nurses and aides were very kind and compassionate. No one wants to be in the Emergency Room but it was a very positive experience. So appreciative to these healthcare workers, who we all know are working so hard during this trying time.

It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Between wait time and getting treated, I left the hospital in the same condition I arrived. I asked for water and the woman at the front desk told me she didn’t have any for me. I came in with a splitting migraine due to the after effects of covid 19. There were no tests run, the only thing that was taken was my blood pressure and my temperature. I was put into a bright and loud room and no one checked in on me for hours. The condition I was in, I was in need of medical help, yet there was no one around. I could have passed out and no one would have found me for hours. I have never left a review in my life. No harm or ill will to the doctor he was nice when I saw him and I’m sure he was busy, but the lack of medical attention was appalling. I wanted to make sure that everything checked out considering I was diagnosed with covid 19 a week prior. If I went to an urgent care I would have received better treatment then this hospital and definitely cheaper. I will never return to this location again in my life.

I was treated as if they couldnt wait to get me out of their ER! I have Stage 4, Metastasizing Endometrial Cancer, with a 30 pound Cancerous tumor in my stomach; Non Hodgkins Lymphoma; Progressive MS with seizures & TIAs & Heart Failure. I have Pneumonia & the breathing treatment I was given by the very rude, assumptive tech, almost made me vomit. He told me to keep using the treatment. Try listening to the patient, instead of being a controlling worker bee. They endeavored to kick me out of the hospital at 4 am, when I am partially blind & no transportation is available until 6/6:30. The antibiotic they gave me caused my tongue to swell; inability to breath when eating & almost full, encephalitic shock. They had done blood work (I have the bruised & busted veins to prove this/ to confirm what wouldnt been disadvantageous to my other conditions to treat me with an antibiotic. These barbarians failed miserably!

Zero stars. This was the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE AND I was giving BIRTH TO MY 3RD CHILD. It was emotionally and physically scarring . I do not wish my experience on any woman. Please do not let your loved ones get treated by this hospital. The doctors were good, but the nurse staff was inhumane to a woman in excruciating pain and who just had a new born baby. I was belittled and neglected. And even leaving with my prescriptions, they did not write them correctly in turn making me have to return back to the e.r hours after my release. It was traumatizing to say the least and I now have PTSD from it and will not be having any more children because of them.

If you want to waste money then go here. Doctors misdiagnosed my burn as ‘no big deal’. Good thing I ended up going elsewhere or I could have been in trouble. They demanded $500 from me before I could be discharged for an ice pack and a doctors note for work. I have insurance and at Boca regional it cost me $150 out of pocket to be seen. You can tell it’s a private hospital since they don’t care about the patients and make up absurd prices.

This is by no means a Baptist hospital. The service and care was terrible. Upon doing the original intake where they check your pressure, the nurse could immediately tell I needed antibiotics but sent me back outside to the general waiting area for another TWO hours! When I asked how much longer they said I had to keep waiting. When I told her it was absurd I was still waiting when people with a slight cough were getting called in she said sorry but nothing we can do for you now. How about do your job and give me the antibiotics you already said I needed.... I’d be much better off at an urgernt care center than their ER.

Worst ER ever! Brought my mother over here and even though there was not a single soul in waiting room, they took over 30 minutes to get her in. We waited for over 2 hours, people came by and they had x-ray done and took some blood but didn’t even hooked her up to an IV or gave her any medication.First and last time coming to this ER! Very disappointing!

Er dr and staff were great. However, I was in excruciating pain, while nurse was filling out info on computer. I had dislocated shoulder that was evident and should have been give pain medication immediately. I understand protocol and procedures that the administration and their lawyers have written to prevent malpractice. But I was in so much pain while being asked questions to protect the hospital. The hospital is clean and staff are great. But cant sometimes pain trumps protocol.
