Dr Press and his nurse Lisa are truly amazing people to have in your corner. Very caring and detail oriented. Dr press is genuinely there to help his patients. Great listening and communication skills as well. A quality that not too many doctors posses these days. I will strongly recommend him to all my friends and family.

Be ready for a man that is all business and shows no compassion. He walked in to see my wife and gave a hello and then started a series of rapid fire questions. He decided she did not need a hip operation and gave her anti-inflammatory medication After taking it for 10 days and no relief we returned to him and he said that his partner will give her an injection. We did that and after no relief returned to Dr. Press and he decided that it was not a hip problem and we should see someone else. He did not offer any advice as to who but said he would call our internist and discuss with her when he gets the time. meanwhile my wife is in pain. First of all, if he is now saying its not a hip problem he should have known that when we came back and the anti-inflammatory medication was not working. Why send us for a hip injection unless there was nothing to lose on his part since it was his partner we were seeing. Second, why not point us in a direction to solve the problem other than to say he would talk to the internist when he gets a chance. To this day I dont know if he ever called. He knew from our first visit it was not a hip problem so just cant understand him leaving her in pain for 3 weeks. He lacks the human element of warmth and understanding for patients that may be in pain. It may be that when he saw that my wife and she did not need a hip operation he lost interest in the case. He may repair hips and do a good job, I have no idea, but, in my opinion, if you are looking for someone to have compassion and caring for you through your pain and anguish I would look elsewhere.

I am modifying my original review. Having now been treated by Dr. Provo in a different practice located in Boca Raton, I realize other treatments are available to me aside from cortisone shots. So I still recommend Dr Press however there is no magic solution to ridding ones self of knee pain, physical therapy and losing weight will help. Dr Press is professional and the entire office staff is very pleasant.
