I found this office and physicians to be very knowledgeable, patient and caring. My issue has been resolved and I feel so relieved!! Overall the office looked inviting and professional.

This place needs to hire a new receptionist! The worst customer service experience coming from someone who works in the field for 15 years. The girl who works in the front is extremely rude . Upon arrival I was running late for the appointment I was told well you’re 20 minutes late and we didn’t get a notice !!!in which I did already call in advanced ! so you won’t be seen today ( it is for my toddler who was with me) and we had just drove 1 hour south for this appointment on my day off. She tells me we’re all going on lunch so you’re going to have to wait until after we do lunch later or reschedule. We wait for an hour in my hot car with my toddler mid day in south Florida. After waiting My second attempt to be seen she tells me that since I don’t have my actual insurance card but I have all the info they won’t be able to see us. So 1 hour later she tells me now we can’t be seen again, she then hands me the paperwork to be filled out for next time, not even an apology !!! Hmm maybe I could have been told this before waiting for 1 hour with my son in the car. Unprofessional and no compassion.

Dermatology center of Florida locations is ehh, doctor isn’t bad but the lady at the front doesn’t deserve to be working there, super rude and doesn’t try hard to help the guests. Overall wouldn’t reccomend this location just because of all the issues you will face at the front desk. I’ve been coming the last 6 months and every appointment there’s a new issue that has nothing to do with me!!

I love this place!!! Doctor Jacob Marder really knows his work, I have a problem for a long time and thousand of doctors even from other country never found out what was it, Dr. Marder in 5 minutes give me the dream answer I was waiting for Years.I drive every time 1.30 min to his location and I will do it every single time full of good vibes, because that is only what I recieve in that place, good vibes....thank you, thank you Dr!

Dr Hecker and the staff are all very caring and professional. Brief wait before being seen. Super bedside manner. In a world where everything is rush rush rush, it was nice to take our time and have the doctor and PA talk with my daughter and put her at ease. Medicines helped some things but not all. We were told ahead of time that with teens it is trial and error.

I was here 3 different times in 1 day because I kept on forgetting about different spots that were agitating me when donning a wet suit. PA-C Cheryl was extremely professional in giving me the care that I needed. The wait was worth it.

I went to this center for my face and forehead. I also had a horrible cyst under my rib cage. The nurse PA Cheryl and Neece were so professional and caring. Cheryl did several bacterial test that it turned out I had to go thru IV medicine for 10 days. Cheryl kept up with me and even gave me her number to call to check in. The staff also was very professional and kept the office very clean and followed CDC procedures. I was nervous going anywhere during this time but after 5 visits I felt so comfortable and am looking forward to going back in one month for a follow up. I would definitely think twice about the other reviews as they are from a year ago.

My fiance has went to this place three times now with the same issue and still has not been rectified and they keep charging him for the same thing.Test (biopsy) have been done, etc and they said nothing appears wrong however his issue on his face keeps growing and they tell him nothing is wrong but visit after visit his face still hurts and has no answers.They never call you back, impossible to reach you on phone as you call a call center and not the office directly.. do not recommend..Ive never been more compelled to write a review, just totally lost faith in dermatologist due to these guys ...on a side note- Also will not let you back with your fiance, forget it-you can be the patients mother, fiance, wife, son-- your not getting back there, found that super odd as some patients need someone to accompany them to help them remember things during a visit or explain themselves... nope, doesnt matter.

Ive never had such a horrid experience in my life: in fact, Ive never felt so compelled to write a review ever before. This place was horrible! To begin with, the waiting room was overpacked, so I found myself standing for most of the TWO HOUR waiting time. When the nurse finally admitted me into the room, she was clearly uncomfortable with my mothers hijab and treated us like second-class citizens. We then proceeded to wait another 15 minutes in a small room, only for the doctor to come in and spray my face with liquid nitrogen or something of the sort. Thats IT. He gave me some generic prescriptions, those that you could easily find the equivalent to over-the-counter. He didnt even go so far as to look at my type of acne, nor my type of dandruff. He was in and out in just ONE MINUTE. No joke! Waste of time and money. Please dont go here! I sense some underlying racism ruling the place!

Went to the Dermatologist and feel I was treated with dignity and respect from the time I first called, until I left my procedure. Im going back for a full screening and treatment.I want to thank the staff for their professionalism, and pleasant humor.

Horrible place I went there and had to wait 1 hour while everyone that came after me went in. I asked women at the desk why is everyone going before me and she tells me there’s only two doctors that still don’t explain why I was getting cut. That’s not my problem on how many doctors they have I scheduled a time to be seen I should be seen at that time not wait a whole hour.

My son went to Dr. David Hecker to have a very flat mole on his forehead removed. He came home with a hole in the middle of his forehead. Ive had moles removed by other doctors and they did much better jobs.

I should have looked at the reviews before I made an appointment. I have a rash on my face. I went to a dermatologist and they gave me a cream that did not work. Since this office is so close to my job, I decided to go here for my second visit. Dr. Lasky quickly looked at my face and prescribed a different cream. That didnt work. No ones fault of course. Then I saw Dr. Feldman. Dr. Feldman spent a few more minutes with me, which felt reassuring. He was baffled why the creams didnt work on the face rash and why now my bottom lip was swollen. He said that the only option at this point was to have an allergy test. That we had to start from scratch. My lip and rash hurt and I was so disappointed that there was nothing else he could do at that moment. I asked him again, Isnt there anything you can give me...and he said wait and returned with a few little sample of a cream. No prescription. Just said maybe these will do something and left. I went to the desk to schedule the allergy test and was told that they would first have to verify with the insurance company. That was over a week ago. So I called today to get an update. They claimed that were going to call. Then the lady asked me if I have a rash. Of course I have a rash that is why he ordered the test. Then, an assistant calls back. Explains if I have a rash they cannot do the test. I dont want the test I want the rash to go away. But that was what I was told was the next step. Then she says if I want to clear up the rash I have to come back in. But that is what I did over a week ago. Came back in and nothing was done. Then she says he gave you cream you should have called us to tell us it didnt work. NOOO he didnt give me that cream thinking it would work. He only gave it to me because he felt bad having me leave with nothing when I said it hurt...I was getting ready to leave when he came up with the cream. Do yourself a favor...dont go to an office that has providers go to a real dermatologist office that cares.

I dont know where the bad reviews came from but Dr Hecker and his staff were excellent. Great service, clean office and I was in and out with a prescription called in for me before I knew it. Ive seen Dr Hecker 3-4 times over the years and every time it was a pleasure.

I booked an appointment and they called me the day of the appointment and rescheduled me for the following week. I get there and they tell me they dont take my insurance, when booking my appointment I gave them all my insurance information, I also live 30 minutes away!

I went to Dr. David Hecker to have a very thin mole on the center of my forehead removed. He removed it so quickly, without even making the slightest effort to do a clean job and cut it at the surface so theres very little scar. I now have a hole right smack in the middle of my forehead, Ive had bigger and thicker moles removed in the past with other doctors, and they did a much better job where I not only didnt have a hole after, but hardly any scar. My parents have had doctors remove skin cancer moles that were thicker then this without a hole or scar. Mole removal is the ABCs of Dermatology. Hes either incompetent, or just doesnt care, or both. I read one of his bad reviews, where a patient said she felt he treated her poorly because she had free insurance, I got the same impression. I dont believe that those 5 star reviews are real. I would definitely not recommend him.

Went there because of a infection on my arm, Dr David Hecker said it needs to be cut open and stitched, but you do not want to do that now told Dr I was going away for a week an vacation. Hes response was it will be OK. Not, it got very bad while on vacation, called his office and scheduled appointment while I was in DC, told the receptionist that I need to see the Doctor as soon as I got home. Scheduled me to see the Doctor that Friday morning, when to his office that Friday morning, guess what, THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED, called his office and was told he was away on a medical convention, but they have a PA in there Pompano office who could see me. Never againThe only reason I went to see this doctor was because my dermatologist was on a vacation. Big mistake.By the way Hecker Dermatologist office is DIRTYMy overall opinion of this doctor is DISGUSTING

Ive been hear now for 3 hours and still have not seen a doctor or even a nurse. Im writing to you from in the exam room where my 9 year old son and I have gone delusional from waiting. This place is the worst Ive been in 33 years.

The administrative staff is completely incompetent. The only saving grace is the PA, who is great.

Absolutely horrible experience. When you first go in they dont even acknowledge you, then before youre even seen they MAKE you sign a waiver committing to a second appointment or they wont even see you. Huge red flag. During the first appointment it was not thorough at all, it was rushed and very impersonal. They just threw a prescription at me within 2 minutes. The second appointment my doctor was VERY rude. To say the least I will never be going back and have only heard good things about Waters Edge Dermatology ever since asking around because of this horrible experience and will be going there from now on.

Waited 1 hr to be seen, not sure way they put so many patients on at once, feels like there was no reason to make an appointment at all. over all i go in for a skin check, i guess it was ok. the office really doesnt look very professional, kinda crummy looking. it was my first time in, im not sure if they will be seeing me again. hopefully they atleast call me for my biopsy results.

This place is the worst staff in professional and bad I wanted to give a zero too and call my insurance company too so they don’t try to get paid for nothing because that’s what they did and wanted me to pay them too

The service is horrible! The doctor sees you in a hurry and the attendants are rude on the phone and in person.

The absolute worst- dont go to this place. Immediately, had a bad feeling about this operation, did not see any doctor or receive the consultation as stated in the report. The exam was extremely brief, and I even had to ask the med assistant who examined me to check my head! Would give this setup a zero if it would post.

Very bad attention as soon as I managed to enter the room to be treated, a lady arrived who was not even the nurse who filled the papers and then a man came in with a clothes that looked like the one who cleaned the floor and told me that he was the Doctor, I doubted him so he asked me why I went to the clinic and I showed him what he had on his skin and he told me that it was nothing they did not have anything and I asked him again if he was the doctor and he said wait a moment let me look for the doctor then I appreciate the real doctor came I look at the skin and in less than 2 seconds I had nothing which I answered that I had never had the skin that way because nothing told me that I did not have anything and everything was so fast that what I wanted was for me to leave so that another person could come in, to them the only thing that interests them is to charge the health insurance more nothing for me they earned a star that could not be qualified less than that!!

I requested an appointment with the recommended De. Masessa which I attended, the Dr. never appeared and the one who attended me was a nurse who took some samples from my head and according to her sent them to pathology.Days later I was informed that I suffered from squamous cell carcinoma and that I had to undergo surgery to remove them. To all these the famous Dr Masessa had never been present to explain to me what my condition was or what the process to follow would be.I attended the surgery on May 21, which was performed by the Team and that day I met the Dr. After the removal of 3 of the cancerous points, I had to return for revision which has always been performed by nurses and the Dr. never returned. Lets see, I have suffered from several wound problems such as an infection, so I consulted with them and they did not pay much attention, but they reluctantly took a culture that they sent to the laboratory. Then they summoned me to remove the stitches and they did not remove them in their entirety, they put a bandage on me that caused fungus and a terrible nauseating smell, I went to see them and reluctantly and at the threat of a lawyer they decided to review me. I removed the bandages and left my wounds uncovered and applying an antibacterial cream that has healedI have returned to control but the office staff has been obnoxious and it has not been possible to have the other items removed.The attention is terrible and lack of professionalism.I do not recommend it.
