I highly recommend going here. We were seen quickly with minimal wait and Dr. Boles was excellent. She took time to explain our options for different lenses and contacts based on our prescriptions and even gave us samples of colored contacts a couple of us have been wanting to try before buying. Dr. Boles and the staff we interacted with were all friendly and personable, and we will be returning for future visits.

I saw Dr Ware before Dr Mayes took over his office. I absolutely love Dr Mayes. He’s office staff gets you in and out. And are always super friendly.

My sister had a wreck that broke her glasses, and they got her in immediately and went above and beyond to help her the same day as her wreck. The staff were so helpful and made this experience much less stressful!

My first time going to Dr. Ware. Upon after my eye exam I picked out my frames and bought very expensive lens/frames total cost for both was over 600.00 for one pair. Such a lesson I learned and that’s not the most expensive frames. I had to return my glasses after a few weeks because of pour Quality frames that was not cheap. Now 9 months after having different frames the color has chipped off in 4 places plus I have a smog section in the middle of my right lens. Called today to be told by the eye glass Dept that my frames are covered for one year it’s now been 9 months since I bought them and my defective lens I have now that coverage ended at 6 months which was 3 months ago. I also explained I bought the glass cleaner wipes as instructed by their staff since it was a special kind that’s safe for my lens. Then during my conversation, I was told the staff should have not told me to use the cleaner wipes to use Dawn liquid Instead.🤷🏻‍♀️ I was told they will order new frames but not the defective lens I have now. I said no thank you, I just learned a very expensive lesson. I only gave a 1 star since Dr.Ware was very nice and professional. Makes me question now why he’s no longer there. For the eye glass frames /lens that was expensive over 600.00 down the drain. Very poor Quality.

I have had my eye care performed by Dr. Ware for over five years and must say that he and his staff are one of the most thorough and professional medical providers I’ve had in my 60 plus years.I get regular reminders of upcoming appointments and office visits are a prime example of how to efficiently move through a comprehensive exam. Highly recommended.

I have been going to Dr. Ware for 20 years. The eye care I’ve received has been excellent! The staff has always been professional and courteous. Dr Ware is highly competent doctor and I appreciate the time he takes to answer my questions.

I started seeing Dr. Ware three years ago. He corrected an error in my prescription from a previous doctor. I love his professionalism and his practice is up-to-date with technology. His staff is outstanding. But the heart of the practice is Dr. Ware and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for outstanding eye care.

Dr. Ware is great! The last time I had glasses ordered it took longer than expected but they more than made up for it by offering me a free pair of Rayban sunglasses. Anytime Ive ever had issues with my glasses theyve always been able to help me.

I have been a patient here for about 7 years, and I have become less and less impressed with the customer service. The employees who work the front desk, answer phones, take you back to exam rooms, etc. act like everything is a burden to them and they never have good attitudes or happy faces. I also have heard them slightly mocking customers while waiting to be seen myself. Dr. Ware, however, is awesome and I love seeing him. Its his staff that I find a problem with. They could use an attitude improvement for sure.

I had been putting off getting glasses for so long, went to Dr Ware for my first eye exam, and got my glasses. Had a excellent experience with Dr Ware and his staff, very happy with my glasses. Dr Ware and his staff was very kind and professional, he knew that I was nervous because I hadnt been to a eye Dr before and he took his time and explain what he would be doing, and my glasses turned out great.

I have been going to Dr. Ware for 25 years and for good reason. He is thorough, kind and always writes the best prescription for glasses that I have ever received.

I like Dr. Ware as an eye doctor. However, over the last couple of years the staff has gotten worse. Long appointment wait times (at least an hour and a half) and staff failing to put appointments in the computer! If you schedule an appointment they should honor it! If it were the other way around, me forgetting the appointment, I would be charged for the time! The message I get from these people is that our time is not as important as theirs! And since this is the third time this has happened to my family, we are looking for a new doctor!!!

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Ware and his staff. I would highly recommend going somewhere else if you want to be treated with respect as a patient. Being a healthcare provider myself I was very disappointed at the way this office treats their patients.

I was pleasantly surprised there is new technology that replaces dilation of the eye. I thought it was very interesting as I had never seen a complete picture of the interior of my eye and Dr. Ware was able to explain the spot I have been told of before by other doctors who werent sure what it was.

I have seen him for 15 years and absolutely love Dr. Ware. His staff has gotten worse and worse over the years. I called today because my dog ate my glasses this morning, and the girl was extremely unprofessional and told me if I couldnt wait 2 weeks for an appointment to find a new doctor. So I did. I reported a review on his Facebook page and he reported it to get me banned from FB. He only lets good reviews stay on his record, when I have found at least 20 people today that have stopped going to him after similar experiences with his staff. He is a great doctor, but if he would hire competent employees instead of pretty faces, hed have a better office. Im never going back.

I wouldnt recommend this doctor to anyone i normally dont like to put bad reviews but i feel this needs to be heard.. my son was a preemie only weighing 1 pound at birth and his retinas were unattached at birth hes autistic and has a speech problem and unable to read the doctor examined him and told me his retina specialist was wrong ..his exact words were his retina specialist just says ..blah blah blah.... and his retina surgeon is very good ..and lowell made my son feel bad about himself because he was mean because of my sons speech and that he didnt know letters he did the exam and dialated his eyes after the exam instead of before and he saw his retina specialist a month ago he was there for glasses not a retinal exam we left before he was finished he degraded my son with words and actions about his speech and bullying is wrong and thats what we feel this doctor did even ridiculing his surgeon my son is a very sweet boy and when we left he said mom people making fun of me is ok he said when they judge me i just know theres something in their life thats wrong...i learned a lesson from my son today just to let it go when someone hurts your feelings you just give it to God

Despite having moved to Virginia, I still use DR Ware for my eye care. Great doctor with latest technology and highly-trained and friendly staff.

Very up to date with everything. Good selection of frames and the doctors are proactive with treatments needed.

I can say alot about Dr. Ware and his incompetent staff but what shocked me the most was on my second visit he said in front of everyone in the waiting room that my deductible had not been met and I would have to pay my bill. I had no intention of not paying my bill. So UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I wont be back!!
