Unfortunately, my mom passed away in March of this year. She was admitted to Greenview for the last few days of her life. I have 2 sisters, who live in KY and my other sister and I had to come in from NC. The nursing staff was nothing less than amazing! During this whole pandemic, the rules were 1 person at a time. The nursing staff, knowing mama would not be going home, allowed all of us girls to be there with her at all times. We were able to hold her hand and talk to her as she reached the pearly gates. The compassion and patience of the staff, explaining things in layman terms so that we may understand, was above any I have ever experienced. I can not speak highly enough of the staff at this hospital. Hospitals all over the world, should take notes and training from this place. Thank you for all you did and continue to do for others!

Went to their ER when a doctor couldn’t see me. We arrived in the morning, they got us in quick, they listen and are empathetic, and they did their best to make me comfortable. They ran MRI scans for me, but couldn’t find out what was causing my pain, so they sent me home with prescriptions.I know of people who have been to their ER before and have had good experiences here, including when a couple came down with COVID and needed antibody treatments.Highly recommend their ER

I was super impressed with the efficiency of my ER visit. My treatment team worked quickly to diagnose my condition and made immediate preparations to get me to surgery. The care after surgery was exceptional. Great group of doctors, nurses and support staff!!!

All the employees I encountered were very professional! Excellent at their jobs! I felt totally safe in regard to COVID patient protection. While my surgery wasnt the most pleasant surgery to have, I can only speak highly of the staff and my doctor. I felt I received excellent care! Would choose Greenview for my surgery hospital again. I was disappointed with the wait time, nearly an hour, since I had registered online the night before. The tech person apologized profusely for the delay. I appreciate her sensitivity, kindness, and professionalism. I just wouldve MUCH preferred waiting in my car than in the lobby and wish that that had been an option. I also saw two people not wearing a mask in the lobby, and thats especially problematic in a medical setting in a county where only about 40% of people have been vaccinated against a highly contagious respiratory virus. Also, I wish someone from the hospital had told me in advance about what to expect with an exam to check cholesterol and plaque. I thought it would be similar to taking an ex-ray. Instead, I was slid into and trapped inside a large and somewhat claustrophobic steel contraption that looks a bit like a front-loading washing machine and, aptly, makes a loud whirring sound like a washing machine on the rinse cycle that keeps getting louder and louder as it goes faster and faster. Fun! My heart rate skyrocketed and likely blurred the images for the test, negating it. I surely regret my reaction but it was automatic. And I myself shouldve done my own homework to know what Id signed up for. So, its ultimately my fault for not being mentally prepared for the test but a little pamphlet or automatic phone message summarizing what the test entails could be a good idea. Also, I appreciate the person giving it because he was very patient, understanding, and professional.

My mother was in Greenview Hospital for 2 months with Covid. I want to say her doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapist were the best ever. Shout out to Bobby, Courtney, Maddie, Jason and everyone else who helped her. You guys saved my Moms life. You guys are amazing. My mom was a worst Covid patients from kidneys shutting down to Trach to a peg. I appreciate you all so much ❤️There best miracle!

I absolutely love the surgery center. So simple and quick. Home before you’d probably even think about being put in preop at the hospital. Everyone is pleasant and very clean facility. Been a frequent flyer as of late so happy when I’m able to get the procedure here.

Recently had to have an emergency surgery. I was beyond pleased with doctors, staff, and care overall. Just a couple of months before, I had to be admitted to another hospital (not in Bowling Green) and May care was HORRIBLE! So when I faced it again, my choice was clear. I had a colonoscopy done there last August and the care was excellent. This time it was the same - excellent! While I had a few days to stay, even a lady from housekeeping helped me along with the nurse. What sweet souls. My husband was always tended too as well - if he needed coffee, something to eat. Thank you all for your excellent care!

The nursing staff was wonderful. At the Endoscopy Unit, it was a large bare room. After checking in the unit, there was no one behind desk. No update on patient, no contact. No TV on, just a barren room. A bit more human contact would have been nice. Maybe an update would help with ease of waiting for loved one.

Had a stroke scare - turned out to not be a stroke, thankfully - but the Greenview ER people were FANTASTIC in the way they sprang into action and took care of me. From the admissions desk to dismissal, and everything in between, the care and kindness and compassion was outstanding, and I am thankful they were there for me at what was a pretty scary afternoon.

The dr never checked for the problem I went for. They done what they wanted to and sent me home. I’ll never go back to that hospital again.

Everyone in the the Endoscopy Department are so very nice. They make you feel comfortable every step of the way. There is not enough nice things that I can say about them. They are awesome!!!!

I have a bill from Greenview hospital. I called the billing department and set up an arrangement to pay a certain amount every month. For the past four months Ive made my monthly payment. Currently Im halfway done paying the bill. Today I got a collection notice, where they sent the balance to collections even though Ive been making monthly payments as was the agreement with the billing department.BEWARE! Theyll agree to set you up on a payment plan and still sell you off to collections, hurting your credit.I havent missed a payment and they did this to me. Theyre all about money and will do it to you too. Graves Gilbert will honor a payment arrangement. So if you dont want to be stabbed in the back go to Graves Gilbert for treatment.

Everyone in the emergency room was so nice. The doctors and nurses were so friendly and helpful. All my tests and results were done promptly. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

Great experience overall. Discharge instructions are a little vague/general. That just taught me to ask better questions. Very very concerned about infection control and use a new protocol for increasing blood sugar before surgery -- liked that. Super friendly staff -- felt like friends coming to visit (albeit they had needles!) :-)

Didnt care about what I was saying, basically just sat there for 2 hrs for nothing, & sent on my way! Still having pain. Would suggest another hospital! Dr was very smug, a know it all....

My experience in the ER was not stellar, and here is why. I came in when I was in extreme pain, and have recently had surgery at this hospital. It took the ER 1.5 hours to even see me, and by that point I was in complete agony and could barely move/speak. I was eventually ordered two tests (CT and MRI) because they thought I had a trapped gallstone. The wait time was horrendous, we were there for 12 hours. The nurses were great, I know it wasn’t their fault. They took pretty good care of me. When those two expensive and useless tests (which found nothing) failed to show what was wrong, no doctor could tell me why or how I came to be in that much pain and when I asked how it could be prevented in the future, the doctor basically said, “That’s a good question.” I’m upset that I spent 12 hours in the ER and spent money I did not have for them to push some nausea meds through me and send me home with no answers. I understand that some of the staff were doing what they could, but it was a very frustrating experience.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience w/the Greenview Hospital group during my infusion. Everyone was very attentive and compassionate.

The Outpatient facility was very well organized. Check-in was easy, and the staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. The wait time was minimal, and the procedure explained clearly. All my questions were fully answered. I was very satisfied with my experience there.

Nursing staff was great. Especially the lead nurse in the endoscopy room. Facility was clean and nice. Waited a long time before procedure with little interaction with anyone. Would like to have had an update on things and/or update my husband. The anesthesiologist was very cold/matter of fact. Came in, stated risks (stroke, death, heart attack, etc) and left. Zero bedside manners. Dr. Tiwari was excellent as was the nurse after the procedure.

I had a hip replacement in August of 2021 at TriStar Greenview and I was so pleased with the care I received. From entering the building to discharge I was given the best care and met by the best staff possible. Dr. Chris Patton was my surgeon and he was awesome, I am so pleased with his care and the results of this surgery! I would recommend the hospital and Dr. Patton to anyone needing orthopedic surgery!

The facility (waiting room) was comfortable and the staff was very nice. In the prep room the staff was awesome and everything just clicked like it should.

I went to have a heart cath done and was really surprised on how well they treated me! It might sound silly, but I enjoyed the humor along with professionalism that made me fell quite relaxed and confident that they would take good care of me.I recommend them to my dearest loved ones.Great job!

All the nurses were sooo nice! They took great care of me, and my husband and daughter that went with me for my knee surgery. We were there for a while due to an emergency surgery and I got bumped but they stayed on top of it, notified me along the way and both that patient (whom ever they are) and myself had a successful surgery! I’m just happy all worked out for the other patient! My Dr. was also amazing (as always)! I can’t thank them all enough for how great they are and how great of a job they did and do! I pray God blesses each one of you! Thank you so much!

Dr. Fun Sale (thats how he wrote the pronunciation not his actual spelling) was great. He really listened and did what he could to help me out and get my referred to someone. Nurse Gretchen was beyond words AMAZING! One of the best ER visits Ive ever had. I hope anytime I have to go back they are both there.

I had to have blood work drawn after contracting Covid. The person in lab that drew my blood was fabulous!! I never even knew she stuck me until she was all finished!

Excellent interaction and efficiency. Very nice nurses. Busy but doing the best they can with such volume and sickness during the pandemic.

The nurses in the cardiac unit are awesome! I unexpectedly had to spend the night and the floor nurses were just as great!

First they have the oldest equipment. I was there for severe dehydration. I am on a IV. I ask for a pole with wheels so I can go to the bathroom. Was told they are in limited supply. How is that possible. Then when I get to my room they give me what I ask for. The base looks like it came from a 50 gallon drum. This base could easily hold 1000 pounds. Try moving it to the bathroom was a real challenge.

My RNA in cardio, Allison, was absolutely fabulous!!! She was knowledgeable, caring, and efficient. She has a great future ahead of her! And, what an asset to Greenview!

I was met with kindness from each person on staff. This hospital is clean, efficient and filled with some of the best people you could find in healthcare.

Came here for my husbands intense abdominal pain after waiting over an hour in the other ER in town and giving up. Tristar had us in a room in under 10 minutes, and within half an hour had run three different tests and given him an IV drip with a painkiller. We were discharged after about two hours with a diagnosis, and my husband was pretty comfortable the whole time. Dont waste your time, come here first!

The wait to get a room was very long. Being sick waiting is hard. After getting room, it went good. Dr came right in and the nurse took great care of me.

Everyone was very nice and took very good care of my son the entire time we were there! 2 ladies made sure he wasn’t nervous and cut up with him the whole time. I would recommend this hospital to anybody!!

Unfortunately I have been a patient at many hospitals. My first time at Greenview. I have no complaints! I was on the 4th floor after a surgery, I got treated well.

Horrible, nurses treat you like you aren’t human like they just want to get you in and out of there. They don’t listen to how much pain you are in and just do everything they can to get signatures from you and get you out. I’m absolutely disgusted.

5 hours agoNEWA patient comes in complaining of pain. I spent 3hrs in the waiting room, then another 2hrs in the back. They ran there test only to say youre fine. What seems like an inflammation problem in my genital area. I was giving nothing. Im sure my insurance payed out the you know what. Only to leave with nothing to help me with the discomfort until Im seen by the va.

The registration process was smooth and efficient (online, by telephone and in person). The friendly welcome, expressions of caring and attention to details were evident from the time I arrived until I left. The administrative staff, nurses, doctors, and support staff were phenomenal. For these reasons, I always choose Tristar Greenview when given the option to do so. Kudos too all!

Welcoming staff and short wait times. The nurse that performed the EKG and blood work, etc. was friendly, caring and very professional. Overall, good experience.

I had to go to the bathroom. My daughter put the call button on & whoever answered said I cant hear you & said Ill send someone. 20 mins later pulled light again They turned it on & off. My daughter went out in the hall & found someone. I couldnt go myself. I was on monitors. Everything else was ok.

Was seen almost immediately with smiling nurses. Test were quick and had a relatively short time on results. This was the shortest time ever spent in E.R.

I had a super great visit when i went their to get a test run on me.

I was terrified when I went for my surgery but the were so welcoming...made me feel very comfortable. Alecia who started my ivs was awesome . Dr Patton is awesome along with the staff....when I was sent to my room Nurse Mary Ellen could not have been nicer...she made my short stay very nice ....want to thank everyone who helped with my stay there you are all awesome

Wait time was crazy long, which happens I get. Received stitches that a child could’ve done better. Wound is still open ten days later where another stitch should’ve been placed (deepest part of the cut). ER was dirty. Would not recommend.

Came into GREENVIEW After a horse accident. Little struggle getting triaged but once there my NP April was amazing, very concerned and very on top of her game to serve me well and get me to a trauma hospitalTo a good trauma team for my shattered leg repair. Sing praises to APRIL and her wisom and profesionalism...also to xray Jason I believe the xray team with cricket that day..the most understanding guy and parient to be constant and steadfast in his help...what a great man! Thank god someone was with me to assist just not enough help

The admitting nurse (although I cant remember her name) was EXCELLENT. Words cant describe her professionalism. It just goes to show that people may forget your name but they will never forget how you treated them. She was GREAT. As well the entire team assisting did fabulous and was helpful; but of course, she spent the most time assisting so she stood out. Great experience for overnight stay.

Amongst COVID I was still able to be seen and helped quickly in the ER.

I had a overall great experience. All nurses and my doctor were great!

After testing positive for Covid, I was referred to Greenview Hospital for a monoclonal antibody infusion treatment. (I was vaccinated, but got a milder case of Covid anyway.) The nurses at Greenview (Maria and Angela) were wonderful - somehow finding a way to have a positive attitude and a smile even though wearing hazmat suits. The infusion (IV) process went smoothly and I was on my way home in about an hour. I was thankful to have such great care available to me.

I was very pleased with my care at Greenview Hospital. The nurses were all caring people. They sought to make sure I was as comfortable as possible.

Never thought Greenview would treat me this way. First bad experience but it was pretty bad. I was forgotten during a shift change and sat with dry IV bag for about an hour. I asked if I could leave and the nurse said they hadnt finished updating my file yet after 5 hours of sitting, blood work and a CT scan. He said just waiting on doctor to review my results. I asked if I left would I still get what I needed in the way of medicines and he said yes the doc would just call it in. So I had him take out my IV and left. Found out the doc refused to do anything because they said I left AMA. On top of it all they had first sent a nurse admin to do my IV, she blew my vein so bad that I still have a 3 inch bruise one week later.

I love Greenview! You can have new state of the art equipment, but great people never go out of style. The docs and APRNs in the ER are second to none and have a great bedside manor! The whole ER staff were amazing! Thomas Vogler APRN you rock! Thank you all for making a difference for your patients and their families.

I had bi-lateral knee replacement surgery at Greenview Hospital and I have to say it was a great stay. All of the departments I went through the staff was super friendly and anything I needed was quickly responded to. Never seen an unfriendly face. The hospital has a great staff. Would use them again anytime. Thanks Greenview staff!

Made the mistake of going to the ER for a small laceration (5 stitches). They billed my insurance for $4200. Insane.

I went to the ER for a horrible cough I had been having for about 3 weeks. I was given a chest x ray due to some slight pain in my chest & to assure i didnt have any infection, I suppose. After having the x ray I waiting in the hall for 2 hours waiting on a radiologist to give me results. Mind you, the doctor told me it looked fine he just needed a second opinion. After 2 hours of waiting I asked the nurse how much longer it would be. They told me they were waiting on the xray to come back which I knew was a lie being that the doctor himself told me it looked fine he was just waiting on the radiologist. This was unacceptable and a waste of time. So I left. Horrible service.

I am currently being contacted about a bill I settled with Greenview from 2019! Just to be clear it is May 2021! Im shocked and disappointed that this case is mysteriously reopened after all this time. How is this legal or ethical? I would like to be contacted and hope they see this. Ive heard this has happened to others as well and I will be reporting this.*UPDATE*I called the general customer assistance number given below. When I was connected with a representative I was told they understand this is wrong but there is nothing they can do about it. They know what they are doing to people and do NOT care. I paid $800 on a $1200 bill. The account was officially CLOSED in 2019! This is FRAUD! If youre reading this and this has happened to you please contact me! We have to report them.

Greenview could be a great hospital. Its been in this community for years. TriStar needs to put in the money to make it 5 stars! The people are great, but I saw the few doing the work of many. Thanks to Eddie in registration...he knew his stuff. Jack of all trades, Im guessing and the go to if you need anything. Did it with a smile too.

Staff was wonderful have prior military service members caring for me provided comfort. My time in the ER was I would have to say worked like a well oiled machine. Thank you all

In general, I prefer Greenview’s ER as opposed to Med Center. On October 20, I went to the ER after an accident that caused a laceration that required 26 stitches. Everyone was professional and friendly. On March 8, I went because I had debilitating back pain. The nurse practitioner was wonderful but the rest of the staff was disinterested in getting to the cause. I went in in a wheelchair but and when I left, the nurse just pointed to the door. On Easter, I went to the Er due to severe swelling in my right leg. The nurse was kind but the doctor acted like he didn’t know what to do with me. When I got ready to leave, he said maybe I could take an aspirin for the pain. I told him I was not supposed to take aspirin so he said he could maybe give me something else.

I came in through the ER. I was quickly diagnosed with having had a heart attack, to my surprise! It was scary but I always felt I was in good hands with the ER staff. I was admitted and more tests were completed and treatment began. I feel fortunate to have chosen this hospital and I am very satisfied with the services I received while there. From ER to patient discharge 3 days later, I was treated with care and respect from all staff. I will recommend this hospital for sure!

Greenview Regional Hospital is THE place to go when needed. Over the years I have needed hospital treatments and Greenview is my choice. Sounds weird praising a hospital when hospitals are the last places people want to go. Unfortunately I have needed hospital treatments too often. Quite honestly I am treated as a person at Greenview. I feel important there. Waiting there is almost nonexistent. Their pre surgical contact and testing is top drawer to me. I dont feel well and they know it. They take care of everything. Follow-up is also superior. They really do care. Given choices about hospitalization, I will go nowhere else if my condition can be treated there. I apologize for rambling, but Im sincere. And ... Im not on pain meds to write this, lol.

I was left in the examine room with very little attention. When the nurse came back, mentioned they all got busy with other patients. The doctor had the worse bedside matter. I would not let him treat my dog, probably who he needs to treat since they can not talk. After being there for three hours they still did not dianoges my symptoms. I later had to get with a specialist who fully examine my symptoms great bedside matter, schedule to have surgery next week to help me get back on track with my health. The staff in the emergency room is the worse. I work in public relations and everything about my experience was wrong with the staff on duty Mothers day.

DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR …Male nurse that came and saw me from the ER dismissed my pain seemed disinterested/annoyed, left me alone in pain for so long after I asked for ibuprofen and rolled his eyes, let me leave in more pain then I came in with and did not help whatsoever, did not listen when I told them not to do something because it hurt and was the main pain area. Did not explain medication instructions. Tried to intimidate me into signing off on papers. Extremely unprofessionalI was so shocked at how horribly I and others I saw being treated. You shouldn’t be in healthcare if it’s just about the paycheck for you which is exactly all that that man cared about. Disgusting. Horrible service. He needs to be terminated.

Only two concerns - doctor who performed the procedure was 50 minutes late and the nurse who did my IV had to put it in my arm. Afterwards my hand swelled and is still sore. Im sure that happens sometimes. Other than that, everyone was really nice and professional.

With the amount of bad reviews you have and how many times I’ve seen you being called out for the worst hospital in Kentucky on Reddit, Facebook and Snapchat I should’ve never stepped foot in this hospital. I waited for 1 1/2 to be called to the back (mean while I’m throwing up so much I filled up the trash can they gave me within 30mins) I didn’t see a doctor one time saw a nurse maybe twice the entire time I was there and was never told what I had they just discharged me after I seem to stop throwing up for about 20 mins. I went to a different hospital that night since you were of ZERO help and I had to get my appendix removed. You guys will be sued for malpractice.

I was in waiting room for 31/2 hours name called once for nurse to check over what was going then sent back to waiting room then nurse came out to get me and she even over looked me. Then get back their she hooks me up. I asked for a blanket she stated next time I come around ill bring you a blanket. She never gave the call button and when I finally found it I had used the bathroom on myself. I called and it took 20mins for some one to come i had water diarrhea and when I had to go I better be going its like loosing control. Never seen doctor at all. Just a nurse came in and told me they was giving me benadryl in it then on two messages and sent me home havent been able to keep anything down since Tuesday and my rash is worse. I will never be back their again. People was even walking out cause of what was going on. My name being there is Betty Guess

I recently had surgery here, it was my first time having anything done at this hospital. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars because everyone was exceptional! All staff that I came encounter with from the sweet lady taking temperatures at the door, to the nurses taking care of me in PAT, same day surgery, all OR staff and recovery room.. EVERYONE was wonderful!! They kept my husband informed of the whole process of where I was on my procedure. I would highly recommend Greenview Regional Hospital to anyone. Having wonderful caring people around you helps make a nervous day a little better. Thank you!

Everything went effortlessly and everyone was beyond kind and helpful.

All the staff at Greenview are top notch professionals. I couldnt feel like I was in better hands anywhere and they are in my city, no long drive to Louisville or Nashville.

They rushed me in and out of there and did there best to pacify me. The moment they heard that I had a history of depression, all testing and speculating about a serious diagnosis ended and they attributed ALL of my symtoms to that. So, Im driving down the road and suddenly forget who I am and where I am going and that is because I was a bit sad years ago? Come on! Or losing motor function, getting dizzy, and dropping things is because I was sad years ago? Ridiculous Lazy ER doctor who would rather lump 30 unrelated symptoms together and blame them on something that resolved itself years ago instead of running tests. Very unimpressed.

Lost a fight with a treadmill and needed stitches. The team at Greenview Regional was efficient, kind and professional. The Nurse practitioner Ms. Davis had me stitched up and good to go with ease. Super impressed with the entire team and experience.

Very friendly staff. They were very informational about questions I had. They kept my wife up to date on my status while I was getting ready for surgery, during surgery and after surgery till she could see me again. Great place that was very clean.

I had an awesome experience. The pre admission was really easy to do and the nurse that did it was very nice and she was able to get my medical records for previous blood work so she did not have to stick me again for labs. The morning I got to the hospital for surgery the checkin process was really easy and all the nurses were very generous and really kind and they took good care of me the whole time I was getting ready for my surgery and I would highly recommend this hospital for any kind of procedures.

Service i tecieved was horrinle first the dr seemeed like he really didnt want to hrlp after he lanced my boil i was left laying there for a hour before nurse came in to bandage me up. I was also told he was sending over a antibiotic because im diabetic and i was high risk for sepsis and medication was never sent talked to them a few days later and asked about it and he then said he wasnt sending anything over

Was not listening to my complaint with shoulder and didnt check it. Then gave me a print out stating shoulder pain unknown when I already explained what was wrong to 4 different people.

Prompt with very minimal wait time. Very nice though not my first visit. Dr. Davidson and Staff were very professional and courteous.
