Don’t know if these negative reviews are for the right office/dentist but Dr. Tanzania is the best Dentist in Bowie and surrounding area to me. I always get appointments within a reasonable timeframe and service is always exceptional. I’ve waited a while before writing a review and the service has been great each time. Some people are very hard to please. Period.

Don’t Bother. They never have appointments. And if u do make one they spend the whole time doing xrays instead of working on the cavities you made the appointment for. My family’s been going here for years and now I will find a new dentist for all of us that cares about our teeth.

My son had an appt. scheduled a month ahead of time. He selected this dentist because she was a dental provider of Kaiser. When scheduling the appt I confirmed that they accepted Kaiser members and their insurance. The young man on the phone assured me that they did. When my son arrived for his appt. and gave the young lady at the front desk his insurance card,she informed him that Dr. Davis was no bbn longer accepting Kaiser because they had to downsize. I asked why didnt she contact us to us know this. Her response was because when they schedule the appts. they dont notate the patients insurance information in their system. What kind of sloppy business practice is this? We try to support Black businesses but far to often the service received is not up to par. Do better my sister.

Myself and my children have been going to Dr. Davis for several years. Both she and her staff are always courteous and professional. They are gentle with my kids. I have never had a problem contacting the office or making an appointment...even on an emergency basis. The wait time to be seen is never unreasonable. I love the music and ambience in the office. I am certainly a happy customer.

Provider said they would book me but I would have to wait 4 months and then when I call they dont return my call.

My experience with Dr. Davis and her staff has been extremely positive. Early morning appointments, skilled professionals, COVID-19 safe, good parking, pleasant, great pre/post visit communication, and the office is very well managed!!

The Only reason why I did not give 5 stars, is due to the fact that this was only my second visit to Dr. Tanzanias office, and I wanted to make sure my review was extremely honest, as I know finding a good/trusting dentist is difficult . The Staff were very professional and pleasant. I was greeted with smiles and great customer service. Going to the dentist for an extraction can be a scary process. Dr. Tanzania was amazing and talked me through the whole experience, I barely felt the needle and before I knew it the process was over. I also, had a crown that had fallen off re-cemented. I look forward to improving the health of my teeth with Dr. Tanzania and her team.

I’m disappointed in the service. I see a lot of people love this office and I had someone refer this dentist to me. I had got Invisalign from them. Long story, when I was done, I had great pain in my jaw from the wisdom teeth was pushing on my new $4000 teeth. Mind that I asked them before if I should have to remove the wisdom teeth, they said no it wouldn’t be a problem. Who would pay to have Invisalign then get wisdom teeth extracted to get Invisalign again because that is where I am.

This was my first time coming to this office. Along with myself were my 2 children and my boyfriend. The staff was very punctual with seeing us. Also they are efficient, friendly, and professional. The staff that worked with all of us was gentle and kind. They were awesome with my girls. I would recommend this office.

This office was referred to me by my childrens dentist- who is AMAZING with children. I generally dont do well with dentist- had my poor experiences so what was important to me was gentleness and efficiency.Dr. Davis is kind and gentle. Her office staff members are professional. However, THEY NEVER RETURN A CALL! They are not available during lunch and close sharply at 5pm. No weekends. NO PROBLEM only that to make an appointment over the phone is merely impossible. I was with her for almost 3 years. When I first mentioned this as an issue, I was told that the person who returned the calls left. I was understanding and didnt make a big deal, however 2 years later and NO ONE, and I mean countless messages... NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALLS!!!So sorry to say that I needed to take my business else where. Its a shame because everyone there is so nice!

We have been going to Dr. Davis for a while now and we couldnt be happier. To find everything we want in a dentist right here in our own backyard was awesome. She and her staff always welcome you with big smiles and a warm friendliness thats hard to come by these days. The ambience and soft music all contribute to a wonderful experience. Your comfort is first and foremost the moment you enter her office. Her work is top notch, from crowns to fillings or just a routine cleaning. I have been going to Dr. Davis for over 10 years. She along with her staff are very friendly, professional and very courteous. Dr. Davis makes every dental experience very relaxing. Whenever I call, I am able to get an appointment within a day. She is one of the best Dentist in PG County.

This dentist is extremely insensitive. My partner needed multiple cavities filled. She has anxiety and got very worked up on the day of her procedure. Dr. Davis made no attempts to calm her, offered no anesthesia, and had an overall terrible approach to the situation. We ended up having to find another dentist entirely.

I really had an awesome experience at this dentist! I was referred to Dr. Davis by a co-worker. She said she recently went and the place was nice and clean and the staff was really nice. Well, that was an understatement! First, the receptionist was very warm and friendly. She was helpful and patient with me as I filled out paperwork for my dependent and I. My dependent and I were seen at the same time...on time with two different specialist. Both of our specialist were kind, very easy on our teeth and provided great feedback for better care for our teeth. Dr. Davis is really friendly and you can tell shes in it because she loves what she does. I have not been to a dentist in a long time, so I thought I was going to be embarrassed. I wasnt my specialist (Portia) was kind and told me what I needed to do to get back on track. I left feeling good. I was helped and the staff was exceptional...from the front desk to Dr. Davis. I really appreciate the service an friendly staff. This place is highly recommend. Oh and I forgot to mention that I received at least 3 reminder text /messages and a courtesy call the day of. All of my contact with the between myself and the staff at Dr. Davis have been pleasant. I cant say enough about the great service. Thank you!!
