You can never get in to see a Dr. I switched over to this practice a year ago and have seen my Dr. one time. Last October the nurse practitioner they sent me to prescribed a drug that i should not have had because i am allergic and i had an adverse reaction to it. Now i have another issue and i am offered the same nurse practitioner who meets with me over the phone and says it is a mystery and she would ask the Dr. It is now 2 weeks later and no word. I called to get an appointment with the Dr. and was told i couldnt see her until Dec. 10th even though i was looking for a sick visit. Looking for a new PCP.

Dr Smith is great, but as the others have said the support staff is horrific. I have never have one good experience with them in a year and in fact almost all terrible. I know its hard to find a good doctor these days but as a person that works as support staff in a medical office i know these problems are from ignorance and lack of effort on their part. STAY AWAY!

I have to agree with the other reviews that Dr. Smith is great, and I know people who have Dr. Mann and Dr. Gilson and are happy, but........ its almost impossible to get someone on the line in a reasonable amount of time( he was on hold for 20 minutes). This has gotten worse since Atrius took it over. My husband had an urgent issue that requires about 1 minute (hearing aid tip stuck in his ear) and they are sending him 40 minutes away to the Urgent Care. If thats going to be the case in the future, we will both be looking for a doctor a little further away but one who is more accessible for these little emergencies. Our previous doctors had an hour set aside for these urgent care issues every day. So it doesnt matter how good the doctors are if you can only get to see them for your annual visit.

The doctors there are amazing. Ive honestly never had an issue with them. The office staff is another story. Ive had issues between referrals never being put in or they dont know what happened, to them never having their phone on during the correct times (they shut their phone off at times 15 mins early before lunch), they dont respond to other requests made from doctors/facilities, they claim to have called you back but when you check your phone log or messages, theres nothing there from them, to requesting certain paperwork from your file 3 to 4 weeks in advance but when you get there they dont have it ready or know nothing about it (even though you filled out the paperwork). Lets not forget their personal cell phone use. There have been a few times after my appointment that Ive gone up to the check out window after my appointment and have been completely ignored while i watched the staff text or play on Facebook. Shouldnt they be tending to phones, and patients instead of checking their Facebook feed? I mean come on! The windows are huge, its not like they couldnthe see me standing right infront of them. LOVE the doctors but the office staff made me not want to go there anymore. I lost all faith in my health records being taken care of safely and privately and having things done in a timely manner.
