Since being diagnosed with diabetes a few years ago. I have used the Eye are Center of Northern Colorado to maintain my vision.Micah Rothstein has been responsible for protecting my optic nerve from damage due to pressure in the eye. At extremely short notice, he has been available when things go wrong, as in less than 10 minutes.I cannot thank the whole team especially Dr.Rothstein enough.

Back in 2013, my optometrist saw something that concerned her and told me she was making an appointment for me in Longmont with a Glaucoma Specialist. “Don’t cancel it, it’s important to go…” were her adamant, parting words “...make sure you see him.” But 3 days later my house flooded with over 8 feet of water. As we started to rebuild our home, I contemplated canceling my appointment, but kept hearing her words. Fortunately, I listened and drove to Longmont to meet Dr. Rothstein. He not only took time to check in about my flooded home, he also patiently explained what was going on with my eyes, then he got me on a plan that we’ve been following for 7 years with great results. And, now he has offices in Boulder! I literally walk to my appointments. Though if I had to, I’d still drive to Longmont, I feel so confident that he has the best intentions for the health of my eyes and my whole wellbeing.

Dr. Rothstein has performed two cataract surgeries on my eyes last November. Im extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Rothstein!!!
