Considering to cancel my membership. I’ve try to contact costumer service but never answered. I have been a member for over 3 years, they say they have towel service but at the time you ask for them they are washing. The cleaning in the bathroom is awful I’ve seen the same trash in the shower for a week. The steam room and the mats outside the shower have mold on them. They keep adding people but won’t invest in more towels. It supposed to be a high end athletic club but it’s looking more and more to a planet fitness. They should not call them self an athletic club. Also some of the administrative staff are rude.

Sad that a pretty decent gym, albeit overpriced, ruins the experience when you try to cancel your membership of over 4 years . . . . while its frozen during a global pandemic. The staff at the gym is good, but Wellbridge corporate is another story. Never have I been yelled and hung up on by a staff accountant, then told by her manager that I probably deserved it, and then BLOCKED by the company on Instagram for commenting about my experience. I cant recommend anyone join a Wellbridge club after the mistreatment, deception, and cowardice management seems to practice.

Yeah these guys are as bad as everyone says. Wont let you cancel. They charged me for 3 months after I cancelled. They wouldnt refund me so I tried to cancel again. Then they sent me invoices for an additional 3 months, which I said I wouldnt be paying so they referred it to a collections agency. The gym is pretty nice but always under construction, but overall the organization is absolute trash

Sadly, very Boulder in the worst way. You literally have to be assessed and quality for certain classes, even if you have plenty of experience outside of CAC. Assessment depends on paying for multiple private sessions with THEIR teacher. I was told that I would “hold everyone up” even though I’ve been taking biweekly privates with an outside teacher for almost six months (that’s a direct quote, by the way). I grew up here and hated exercising until I found a place where you don’t have to be rich or athletic to qualify for a workout. Unfortunately Boulder hasn’t changed.

We moved from out of town and have a little one and this place had been a saving grace. We love the facilities, the child care, the classes, and especially the outdoor pool in the summer. It has allowed our family to find balance! It’s wonderful to pick up our daughter from school - have her play with her friends in their child care facility(she asks for it!) and get a workout in before heading home for dinner. And I didn’t even mention their parents nights out-which allow my husband and I to get a date night in at a great discount! We have loved our experience.

Beware of lots of fine print, hidden fees, spending lots of time and money trying to get your money back, rudeness at Wellbridge corporate and a whole lot of headache. When COVID hit in March I went the website to see what they were doing. They had 3 options, one of which was cancel. So I wrote them in their contact form on their site (so now I have NO copy!) stating I wanted to cancel. They now say that never happened and I have spent weeks trying to get my money back for 3 months worth of membership. No one will call me, it’s only email and it takes days to get a response. The last email I got had ZERO problem solving or resolution advice. It was insulting and down right rude. I am still trying to get my money back and “cancel” my membership to this date. Stay tuned. Perhaps I can change my one star (which should be zero) to something better if someone at the club or corporate would actually show some human compassion during a pandemic.I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviews I have read about this money hungry gym.Don’t give this gym one cent of your hard earned money.

Careful of signing up here. I thought I was signing up for a month to month contract that was presented as “cancel anytime” but this has been a nightmare. I’ve paid these people hundreds and hundreds of dollars for cancelation fees, last month fees, termination fees, and even hold fees because I couldn’t afford to cancel it due to the outrageous hidden fees. I thought it was cancelled and then I got a call saying I owed $400. I went to this gym maybe 5 times!!! They will take you for all you’re worth.

I have a soft spot in my heart for CAC, mainly because I love the group fitness classes and have built a nice little community by attending them regularly. My star rating has to do with the quality of the pool area- the lounge chairs are almost all defective and its frustrating to not even be able to find a fully functioning lounge chair when youre paying over $100/month to be able to use all of the clubs amenities. If they make a little effort in making the pool area nicer and more pleasant, it would be a major plus for members and potential members, and Im sure a little improvement would go a long way.Update: hats off to CAC for navigating the pandemic like pros! All amenities are still open for members and I always feel safe exercising indoors.

I just joined a month and a half ago and I’ve had a great experience. The staff and coaches have been friendly and welcoming. It’s busy at all times of day but equipment and machines are always available.I have loved the cycling and yoga classes. They also give two complimentary personal training sessions when you sign up and I used mine for swim lessons with Kimberly Goodell. She was amazing, knowledgeable, easy to schedule with and I’m purchasing more lessons with her to work up to the masters swim classes.Overall I have enjoyed my experience and I think I pay a reasonable amount considering I was paying $170 a month at Orange Theory Fitness. The locker rooms are always busy, but they’re well stocked with necessities and very clean.

I will start by sharing that I have over twenty years in the fitness industry, much of it in a sales and marketing management capacity, so I am familiar with the sales process in these clubs. Unfortunately, Colorado Athletic Club is using unethical 80s era low-end club sales tactics, with the bait and switch and price differences based on who you talk to. You may end up paying double what someone else has and not even know it. Management should be more on top of these things, maintaining a seamless member experience and an ethical approach to memberships is a minimum expectation for a club such as this.

I rejoined CAC end of Dec 2019. I signed up with a personal trainer, who missed 2 appointments and then left the club, it took the PT Manager 3 weeks to contact me. When COVID hit, all memberships were placed on hold. In June, CAC sent an email telling clients to click here if you wanted to change your membership. My membership was on hold, so I had no reason to move it from hold considering I am immune compromised and had no intention to begin working out at a gym again. Then they proceeded to bill people who did nothing. Even with Medical Providers note that I am immune compromised, CAC is trying to collect 2 months of membership from me. While I hope gyms can survive this pandemic - what CAC / Wellbridge is doing is criminal. I can no longer recommend this gym to anyone for any reason.

I really enjoyed my time at CAC Boulder- wonderful facilities and very nice staff. I also loved the cafe area for sitting and doing work after a workout. Like many said below, the membership process is very corporate. Definitely ask if you qualify for any discounts (ie. I fit into a young professional category) and be sure you are comfortable with the lengthy cancellation process or account hold system. Also, in our strange covid world, the club has been helpful and provided access to online workouts until they were able to reopen.

I was a member for 5 years. Ive never belonged to a gym where management and the financial department have been so complacent. When I was over-billed for 3 months in a row, the financial department was INCREDIBLY rude to me, and even hung up the phone on me. Impressive customer service. This behavior, in combination with thepoorly maintained equipment, and lack-luster class schedule is what led me to move on. Management doesnt seem to care; its almost impossible to get a call back. Ive been waiting two weeks now for a call from the aquatics manager. Water fitness has been pushed around and cut back and moved to bad times at the whim of either the master swimmers training for their triathlons on Saturdays or the kids whose parents pay for swim lessons in the evening. If you have a flexible work schedule or dont work at all, youll find classes that work. But if youre older or work traditional hours or just want a tough, aerobic, core-building, muscle-toning water fitness class available after 5, forget it. You dont fit their ideal profile.

I can almost always get on any machine without waiting and spa facilities are great. Sanitation could be better and clean-wipes more available and used. Been a member since the day the doors opened so I guess Im as qualified as anyone to review...The Good. Some nice high end club touches in the dressing room. Good up to date classes and equipment. Outdoor pool esp. in the summer is key especially if you have kids...The Not so Good. Gym should be a bit bigger as the floor gets crowded during busy times. The price. Family membership seems to keep going up (though Im locked in to my original rate). The turnover rate in childcare and at the front desk is incredibly high. Feel like you barely see the same people for more than two or three months at a time.My Take. If I was signing up today at the more expensive rate I might choose a different option. Boulder Rec Center, YMCA, etc. But it depends on what you want. I need treadmills and weights and I can get that almost anywhere. I will say that the childcare has been excellent from Day 1 (named Blast) and being able to drop your two young daughters off and not worry for two hours is a huge bonus. But my oldest (8 years old) is outgrowing Blast (8 to 9 years of age seems to be roughly the magic #) and come labor day that might be the tipping point in us choosing a different (read: less expensive, option)

I have been a member since they opened. The staff is friendly and the facilities are clean. My criticism concerns the maintenance of the equipment, especially the cardio and weight machines. I wish it was otherwise since I am otherwise satisfied.

My daughter joined this club. Apparently the amenities are nice. It seems quite expensive however. My advice would to be wary of the agreement that they expect you to sign. She signed a 12 month agreement. After the 12month period they will continue to charge you for the club unless you submit a form in writing requesting termination. Also they dont notify you at all prior to doing so. If you dispute the additional charges they will turn you over to collections. After 12 months it is quite understandable with all the other bills you have to forget this clause. Quite a scam!

This place looks great, but is terribly managed. When trying to add me to my fiances account there, the staff had no clue what they were doing. We were quoted a variety of prices before being told theyd have to call us to clarify later. The actual price wound up being more than double the prices mentioned when I stopped by in person. When my fiance tried to leave the gym a few weeks later, they continually failed to handle his account properly. He canceled the account, but someone there lost paperwork or something, because he continued to be billed. After multiple calls and emails, which they seemed to be dodging, Colorado Athletic Clubs only real contact with us has been to threaten sending his account to collections. This is ridiculous. Their lack of ability to manage their own account system is laughable, and they then handled the entire issue horribly.Seriously, this place is terribly run. There are so many better gyms in town that happen to charge less. Go to them instead.

Just awful!!!! Please, please dont let them trick you into signing up here. I was cajoled and convinced by one of the representatives to sign up, even though I told her I was moving away in just one month, and the shortest amount of time you can sign up for is 3 months. She said it was no problem; that we could do a leave of absence form and that I wouldnt be charged at all until I moved back to Boulder and reinstated my membership. She also said they were having a special where you would get a $100 membership credit (to use toward a massage, etc) if you signed up at the beginning of the year. Well, that was completely untrue. When I told them that this was what I was promised as part of signing up, they were just like Oh, well, sorry. I was flabbergasted that I was made to pay for the mistake of an employee. Furthermore, it was untrue that I wouldnt have to pay during my leave of absence -- they have continued charging me, and when I called to cancel my account, they said they wouldnt cancel it unless I paid all of the accrued fees. I ended up having to cancel my credit card so that they couldnt keep charging me. What absolute vultures. In terms of the gym itself, its not great. I was quickly disappointed by the sub-par yoga, and the fluorescent lights (that are everywhere, including the locker rooms) gave me migraines. Although they boast about having saltwater aquatics, the indoor and outdoor hot tubs reek of chlorine, and people go back and forth between the pools and hot tubs, which means the pools end up having chlorine in them anyways. Overall, this place was a complete waste of money, and I hope this review may give you pause before even considering joining! I so wish I had read some of these reviews before making such a colossal error.

Good facility however they always charge your card beyond your contract. BEWARE canceling with them, they will try and CHARGE you again and again. Funny how signing up is such a breeze yet they can never get a cancellation right. This is the 2nd time and based on reviews- this seems to be strategy of theirs. Perhaps a file to the BBB would be in order with them by someone b/c this is really poor business. I know youve got to sometimes do the cancellation forms ahead but even then they still charge your card and you have to jump hoops and make calls to get it cleared with them. Its a really sneaky and lame way of doing business with their customers. They love charging your card and you need to watch them. Other reviews reflect similar feedback so Im wondering when they will learn, if they care. Its unfortunate that they have the best facility in town and I look forward to a little competition to wake them up a little.**** EDIT**** They charged my card AGAIN...AFTER resolving and refunding the other charge that shouldnt have been there. TOO LONG; DIDNT READ VERSION: CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS A NIGHTMARE.First, their facilities are nice and if youre the kind of person that will pay extra to be catered to and smiled at constantly then this is the place for you. However, I am preparing to take legal action against the company for failing to properly cancel my account and continuing to bill me.I initially joined through a promotion involving a discounted rate provided through an agreement made between the gym and my employer. I was miss-quoted how much membership would be after the promotional period, but it wasnt a significant difference and decided to stay with the gym. However, during the summer of 2015 I used the gym less frequently but stayed on because my fiance wanted to use it. We went in, were quoted a price ~$70 for the both of us, happily signed some paperwork, were told have a nice day, were chased out the door with oh wait we forgot this paperwork as well, signed it, and left satisfied. Later I was notified that a mistake was made and that the bill for both of us would be around ~$110. I found that ridiculous, called their customer service number, and asked for the originally promised ~$70 rate. They declined, which I then promptly asked to cancel the account. The customer service rep said that was fine, apologized for the inconvenience, and I went on my way satisfied once again.Later in fall, I received a bill, informing me that my membership had not only been renewed for another three month period without my knowledge, but was accruing late fees. The gyms in-person staff couldnt help me in the matter, and the customer service representative informed me that they could not cancel accounts over the phone, in direct contradiction to what they told me. After going back and forth for months now I have encountered everything from short/blunt/apathetic responses to upper management from being out-right avoided and ignored when trying to speak with them about the matter. If you ever plan on cancelling your membership, I would recommend never using this gym.

And when I went to cancel my membership, they told me because I had given them 25 days notice instead of 30 days notice, that I would be required to stay on for another 30 days (this, despite the fact that I had probably paid the club somewhere in the neighborhood of $20K in the time I had been there). I just joined this club about a month ago, and Ill say that for the price of membership there are a lot of cons about this gym.First of all, the hours kind of suck - theyre only open until 8:00pm on weekends and until 9:00pm on Fridays. It took them a month to get me my permanent membership card because their printer was broken. And speaking of broken things - way too many of their machines dont work right for the $80/month (or more depending on how old you are, which is a weird reason to jack up prices in my opinion) membership price. Almost every single bike in their spin room doesnt have a working computer - and its been that way since before I joined, despite their many unfulfilled promises that theyre working on it. Plus, Ive come across other machines throughout the gym that dont work properly either. They offer a lot of great classes, but most of them are only during the weekdays and are right in the middle of the day, which might be great for all you stay at home housewives, but not very conducive to normal people with work schedules. The front desk staff know nothing about their class schedule or in which rooms any of their classes are being held. Plus it takes a long time to check in at the front at times. They promise you 2 free personal training sessions when you sign up, but then they dont actually get in touch with you about scheduling those. And if you ask the front desk about it, no one knows anything.Their iPhone app kind of sucks too. First, its just a schedule of their classes, no other info. Second, theres no way to view all their classes at once, you have to narrow it down by the type of class. And there are no descriptions about what the classes are.On the plus side, they have a lot of machines - you never have to wait. The locker rooms are nice, with sauna and steam room. They provide as many towels (big and small) as you need - theyre there for the taking in the locker rooms. The showers come equipped with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The locker rooms are stocked with body lotion, mouthwash, hair dryers, curling irons, etc. Lockers are free. They have a nice cafe with lots of food and drink options. There are sanitizing wipes located throughout the gym to wipe down machines with. And there are filtered water fountains where you can refill your water bottles.I havent yet decided if its worth the pricey membership, but I thought this was important info that people should know if theyre considering joining.

The office staff told me it was fine to take the class and come back to finish up everything. I was at the Pilates studio 5 minutes before 10 am and the Pilates instructor, Jodi showed up 5 minutes after 10 to teach her 10am class.Jodi asked if I registered for the class so I explained to her I was in the middle of re-enrolling and buying the Group fitness package for my Pilates class but didnt want to be late. Jodi asked me leave the class to finish up purchasing for my Group Class package first. I explained to Jodi I was a member, re-enrolling and the club is having a promotion of $200 club credit which I am putting toward my Pilates sessions. None of that seems to matter and Jodi insisted that I leave the class. Even though, her class was not full and only has two other members at the time. She did not have the courtesy to let me finish up her class and walk me to the front desk to make sure I would be paying for her service. It really infuriating that I was treated so poorly. Its just a fitness class, did not need to embarrass a customer like I would not be paying for my service. I would never take Jodis class again and management needs to know that no one deserves to be treated that way in their facility. And tell your instructor to be on time for their class.

Besides the mountains, this club is the main reason I love living here. The views of the Flat Irons on my drive in to the club never fail to put me in a good mood but this club makes me swoon. Its posh and swanky... my kind of place. Its not the cheapest but I dont care. You get what you pay for.I take swim fitness classes here and I love them. The locker room (womens) is always clean and has fresh flowers! I dont even mind showering here.....once I got used to the fact that everyone struts around naked. It took me aback at first, Ill admit, but now I dont even mind when Im sitting in the hot tub having a conversation with someone buck naked. I, of course, still wear a suit but no one judges me for that either. :)I take classes at both the inside and outside pool and I enjoy both. The pools are well maintained. And parking for this club is a breeze with many spots in the parking garages on both sides. And for Boulder, thats quite a coup. There are a ton of different kinds of classes, most of which are free with membership. There are a couple of things that have an additional cost but not too many.Could the people working there be a bit more friendly? Yep. But to be honest, I dont deal with them all that much. They swipe my card and thats it. Its Boulder after all; not always the friendliest town.I do think they could be a little speedier to get things fixed when they break down but maybe thats out of their control. I dont know.My one and only real complaint is how heavy handed they are with trying to sell their personal training services. I was offered two free sessions when I first joined but then after my first session, I purchased the full package of 25 sessions (to the tune of $1200!). I assumed that I would have 26 sessions since I didnt do my other free one but nope. At the end of the 25 sessions, my trainer, all of sudden, just couldnt find a spot for me in his schedule anymore. Ugh, I hate when you are promised something but then it just becomes a hassle to get it. Anyway, all that said, the trainer did help me lose some weight. He made me pay him extra (!!!) for an eating plan, but I use it to this day. He didnt really take into account what I LIKE to do for fitness so his weight training has gone by the wayside....mainly because I just dont like lifting weights. All in all, though, personal training aside, its a great club and Im happy to be a member.

I used to like this club a lot, but the facility is rapidly aging due to poor design decisions and a lack of reinvestment. For example, the lockers are starting to fall apart, the wet area tiles are slippery 24x24s instead of having enough grout lines for your feet to grip, etc.The basic problem is not the local staff--Jill and her team are great--but it is an indifferent corporate parent that doesnt reinvest their profits locally.Edited: I got tired of paying premium prices for less than premium facilities and left it behind. Too many yearly price increases and too few dollars reinvested into the facility. There are better kept clubs in Boulder.

I have been going to CAC Boulder for over 5 years and have used other CAC facilities for over 10. It was great when I started, but has slowly been going downhill. There are way to many out of order signs at the facility that seem to be there for months.Hopefully they will be able to get some investment and bring the place up, but I had to cancel my membership today after getting tired of seeing the state of disrepair the facility is in that is only progressively getting worse - although they did have new shower curtains today.

What a rip-off, and horrible customer service. First of all, at the monthly rate they charge - its obnoxious to charge addl for certain classes (pilates, ski conditioning, etc). Secondly, HORRENDOUS way to treat people. I placed my membership on hold this summer. Then when my PT told me my rehab would be much longer than I originally expected, I terminated my membership. Now they are trying to backcharge me a month in membership fees. Im now using the Peloton App to workout for less than $20 a month - I Highly recommend this!!!!!!!!!

This gym is worth the fees. I decided to sign with CAC because of their policies surrounding their childcare facilities. Before being a member I met with Elle and Mary to discuss their polices regarding saftey and sexual abuse prevention. The polices in place are great and allows me to get in a workout and mommy relaxation time without worry. Thanks for your communication and clean facility CAC, I appreciate you.

Ive lived in many cities and belonged to several high-end gyms (like Equinox in NYC) and I have to say, this place is THE WORST. The equipment is always broken--is it really that hard to keep treadmills working? They closed the pool for 2 weeks for repairs in SEPTEMBER when tons of us were getting ready for fall triathlons. The shower stalls are slimy and full of hair (ugh!). Why am I still a member? I really like my personal trainer (tho that doesnt app;y to all of them, there are some really obnoxious look at me types there) and the location is so close to work. And Im afraid theyll screw me if I try to cancel, like theyve apparently done with other reviewers here.

Ive been a member at CAC Boulder for a little over six months now, and I have been very impressed with the experience. I set out to work on strength training and add some muscle mass. After working with a personal trainer and taking some classes, I am very pleased with the results. I find the culture at CAC to be inviting and positive. The staff are friendly and courteous, the instructors are top-notch professionals, and the facilities are always clean and inviting. Its a very family-friendly community, and people in all stages of achieving their fitness goals are always around. CAC is a great place to work out, get healthy, and supplement an active lifestyle!

I love those companies that do pricing for life like the DBC. I keep wondering what will be the final point when I say no more to the price increases. CAC please think long and hard before you raise our rates again. Im tired of it.

I have never wrote a bad review before, but my experience at CAC is worthy of one.Horrible customer service, no wonder all the latest reviews are 1 star.Make sure you understand their cancellation policy, all they care about is your $. Make sure you cancel your account in person with the manager present and sign the paperwork. This place is horribly managed. My partner and I gave them verbal cancellation notice and sent them an email when we were going out of town for a few month, which they supposedly lost. We said we dont need to cancel our membership, just put it on hold. Found out they didnt handle it properly when I got a call from collections 2 month later. Dear CAC management, you could have had 2 long term customers, but you decided to handle it the way you did. I hope that $20 you probably got from collections is worth it for you.Plenty of great gyms and yoga studios in Boulder, CAC is not one of them.

Way too crowded for the space. Had to show up 15 minutes before a class started to get a spot. When I preregistered for pilates -which was required- the instructor allowed people who did not register to attend as well. I ended up on a mat on the floor instead of on the machines. Last but not least, when I tried to use the family locker room when my kids had swim lessons in the indoor pool I could never get a locker or a dressing stall. Turns out staff members were using the family locker room while they swam instead of the regular ones.

Having been around health clubs for many years, I am amazed at the low google rating. There are some pretty lame one star ratings such as elevators not working (there are none) and missing running shoes left out in the locker room is somehow CACs fault...really?? The reality of the situation is this is an extremely nice, well managed club. I am presuming the anonymous 1-2 star slams must be from trolls. Last night, while checking in, I was fumbling around for my CAC card and apparently dropped $20 on the ground. The front desk staff discovered the fumble, figured out who lost the money, hunted me down in the locker room and returned my cash. It would have been easy to pocket the $ or ignore the issue which indicates good hiring, great training and a member first culture. No one is perfect, but the 1-2 star folks are way off.

Last summer I visited CAC for the first time and decided to sign a 3 month membership to try it out. The main appeal to me was their chlorine-free pool. I also started enjoying their yoga lessons and other offerings.Unfortunately a month and a half in to my membership, I got really sick and went to the hospital. I was diagnosed with a stomach hernia and my doctor said I had to stop all activities, including swimming and especially any type of exercise at the gym.I informed CAC of this, and they said they could work something out with me to cancel early since it was a medically warranted request. They asked for a letter from my doctor. Since my doctor referred me to a chiropractor for further treatment and manual manipulation of my stomach hernia (in hopes to avoid surgery), I decided to ask my chiropractor for the letter because he could better describe my needs.CAC received the letter and informed me that the letter was not from a real doctor. They declined to let me cancel early and receive a refund. I emailed the manager Jill Shusterman to voice my concern and speak about it further but she would not return my emails or phone calls.I am extremely disappointed regarding how very little they cared about me given my medical emergency, and how poor their customer service is.Bottom line is they care about the $$$ and not about you as a person.

So the membership is like $90-ish a month. I dont mind paying that if it is worth it. Off the bat it seams like it is definitely worth it. They provide a lot of perks for that price; free towel service, shaving cream, mouth wash, ironing boards, natural creams, natural shampoo and conditioner. The pool has saline instead of chorine for sanitization which is easier on the eyes. the main reason I joined was for hot yoga and whirlpool to heal from my hard workouts. Not till after a month I started realizing it was not so great. The whirlpool was broken for a whole month. 1 of the 2 elevators has been broken for 3 months and even 1 day neither of them worked. The rush hour time is so over crowded I have to wait for my shower and locker time, usually around 8 am and 5 pm. And most recently the yoga thermostat was broken(no more hot yoga). Additionally, they only provide you with a 90 minute parking pass. I am use to working out 2-3 hr but, I have to limit my workout if not I would get charged an additional $10-$20 more.It is nice if they where to maintain their equipment to top notch. Additionally, I believe they over sold their spots. I was having a conversation with a long term client that was considering ending his account because it gets so packed recently . It is ridiculous as he said. The advice I would give is that if you sign up, ONLY do a month to month contract. Experience it for yourself. I decided to do a 1 year contract and regret it now.

Great club. Nice, clean facilities, great amenities, great equipment, and great instructors. Some specific likes:(1) Yoga with Matt Champoux. Best yoga classes I have been to. Great focus on alignment and proper technique. He wont let you just mindlessly move through vinyasas -- hell make sure you get it right and give you the reasons as to why its right.(2) Massages with Katayoun. She is very attentive and really knows how to work through problem areas like shoulders, neck, etc. by manipulating the soft tissue while moving the joints through specific ranges of motion. Reasonably priced as well (believe it was $65 + tip).(3) Bumper plates in the weight area. Not many commercial gyms have this. Great if you want to get some power cleans in.(4) Year round outdoor saltwater pool and jacuzzi. Dont think this available anywhere else in the Denver / Boulder metro area.(5) Pricing. $161 for me and my wife, or roughly $80 a person. Not bad. Sign up and cancellation (were moving) was a breeze too. Worked with Cody.

On Thursday, November 14th, I accidentally left my hot pink Saucony running shoes and workout outfit (black Skirtsports skirt, Title 9 sports bra, green Beetle socks, and blue Chicago Marathon shirt) under a bench in the womens locker room. When I realized my mistake and returned to the club for the items, they were gone. I have checked with the front desk and lost and found bins several times and they have not been turned in. If you happen to know what happened to my gear or, even better, if you can help return it, please contact the front desk and they will contact me. I would so appreciate getting my stuff back and promise to change my rating from one star to five if it is returned.

After I was accepted into medical school in the beginning of January, I asked a front desk representative at the Boulder Colorado Athletic Club to refresh me on the cancellation policy. They said that that all I had to do was pop in and let them know and that there was a $0 dollar cancellation fee. The CAC representative neglected to mention that I needed to cancel 1 month in advance to avert a 100 dollar charge.During the first week of April, I figured I would let them know of my cancelation 3 weeks in advance as courtesy, only to find out about the 100 dollar fee for the month of May. I was informed by the representative at the front to come back to the club the next day where I could speak with a manager to make my appeal. When I arrived the next day, no one was available, I was told to come back yet another time because the managers were out of sight. I returned the following day and was able to meet with Chaz (the hospitality manager) who said that if he could waive the fee he would, but that it would ultimately rest in the hands of Jill (the general manager). He took my information and was very apologetic and assured me that somebody would be in contact within the day and if not that day, the next day.Additionally, I received a phone call from a lady who was processing my account suspension. I relayed my frustrations to her as well, she too said she would pass my information along to Jill and recommended that I stop by the club. Again I went and again no manager was around...Still no response from Jill...This is extremely frustrating, Ive gone to the club per Wellbridge representative instruction about 4 times now to resolve this. Each time in failure.I realize that the one month notification is contractual, however, I consider it non-binding as result of the misinformation relayed to me by the CAC representative. I thought I could trust the word of the CAC front desk representative without having to reference my contract. Apparently thats not the case. I warn you, be very wary of these people.Ive internalized many of the faults of this club from the constant black mold scum ring that lines the mens hot tub which only seems to get scrubbed once every couple of months, to the consistent barrage of broken items and lack of towels...THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING BROKEN! Whether it be the hot tub, the pool heater, the sauna, the steam room, the washing machine, it really just depends on the day.My time is valuable and it has not been respected in this process whatsoever, time after time again, Ive been given misinformation. From the misinformation surrounding the contract, to the several failed attempts tor resolve the issue at the club in person.Ive still not heard from Jill. Though, today I received a phone call from Chris, the membership accounting manager. He informed me that they will not budge on this 100 dollar fee despite the misinformation delegated to me by their employee. I find this completely unacceptable from the premier athletic club in Boulder. Youd be better off going to 24/fitness just down the road, or to the Colorado Athletic Club Flatirons which isnt falling apart....Ive also never heard from Jill.Very impressive. For 100 dollars/month, I would not recommend it. Their leadership team is incapable of taking accountability for the misinformation delegated by their employees. Furthermore, their leadership team is scattered, unresponsive, and clearly in disarray. Do yourself a favor, dont join CAC Boulder when you could pay half the cost of membership for 24hr/fitness or go somewhere where you will be respected.

I have been a member since the club opened and have never posted a review before. Recently, I feel like the club has become unfriendly. I have heard many members publicly berated for showing up for yoga classess a few minutes late. For example, the instructor said to a lady who arrived 2 minutes late, I just want you to know that my pet peeve is people showing up for class late. It really irritates me. He said this in front of 40 people. I thought that going to your athletic club and attending a yoga class should be an easy part of your day. Just one example of many.Plus, the spin classes have really poor lighting. It is bright fluorescent over head lighting. Nothing like working all day long under bright lights and then spending another hour with the light glaring down at you. All other clubs in town have managed to get some fun lighting except for CAC.Membership is really perky, friendly, until you sign the doted line and then you never see them again. Ever.Has never developed a warm friendly feeling about the club. The members dont know each other. Minimal socializing. Have belonged to both Rallysport and BCC and the feeling at those clubs was much different. Thinking about some changes.

Ive been a member of CAC Boulder since October, 2012. It is not cheap. They have raised the monthly fee each year, just in time for the anniversary of my membership. For prospective members, know that my monthly fee as of November will be $115 for an individual membership. Yes. That much.I am a member primarily for the classes, which have a decent distribution over the week for Pilates and yoga. You do pay an additional fee for reformer classes. The Pilates instructors seem to be under some pressure to increase attendance of the equipment classes. Ive had three different instructors abruptly leave after 3-4 months when their reformer classes didnt fill up. This gives the impression that the managing corporation, WellBridge, is putting more emphasis on revenue generating equipment classes than maintaining a quality rotation of instructors. With the current pattern of membership cost increase (~10% in two years), I am reevaluating my membership. On the plus side, cancellation seems straight-forward. There is a form to fill out and a one calendar month notice.Take a hard look at your alternatives before joining. YMCA, RallySport, Mountains Edge, Boulder Recreation Center, or others may all be viable alternatives, depending on how you use the gym. One Boulder Fitness has dropped most of its classes as of Fall 2014, and Flatiron Athletic Club, which is under the same management, seems to have done away with most of its yoga and Pilates classes (and instructors). Choose wisely.
