Everything about my cataract surgery was positive. I was given clear information about what option to choose for the type of surgery I would have.Every clerk, nurse, doctor was helpful, courteous and kind.Dr Stewart is wonderful. Dr Lee is so helpful, clear and supportive.I have already recommended Insight to several friends who are considering a cataract procedure.

I was pretty nervous about having cataract surgery on my eyes, especially since the surgeries were going to be back to back weeks. Now that I am more than a month out from both surgeries, I can say without any qualifications that it was hands down the best and most comfortable experience I’ve ever had from beginning to end! Everyone—from initial exam, to nurses and surgeons—were exceptionally professional, yet also amazingly welcoming and warm. Insight Vision was awesome!

I had genetic cataracts in both eyes and waited too long to address the issue due to the pandemic. For over a month before my surgeries I couldnt read or drive. The staff at the Boulder location went above and beyond to help make sure I could get my surgeries on time. Katie took time during her lunch hour to help me fill out forms, and Gabie was calling pharmacies for me on the weekend. I believe that demonstrates the commitment of their staff to an excellence of service rarely found. Additionally, Dr. Lee has a great sense of humor and outstanding patient rapport. While I only meet Dr. Stewart briefly, his skills appear to be exemplary, as there were zero complications from his non-laser surgery. My experience at InSight was an amazing one! From scheduling the consultation to the post-op appointment, everything was so easy. Maddie did an amazing job keeping me informed of what to expect on & after the day of (and answered all of the my random-nervous questions), and the doctors that I spoke with gave me all the information surrounding the pros, cons, and risks of LASIK with my specific eyes.On the actual day of the procedure, things ran as smoothly as could be. I got there, filled out paperwork, paid, got prepped for the procedure, and then went into the room and got LASIK. The doctors told me what to expect prior to the procedure so there were no surprises. It was absolutely painless and super quick. I went home, took a nap (as I was instructed) woke up, and could see perfectly! Truly amazing. I am so so happy I went to InSight and got LASIK - its truly life changing!

The first time I took mom for her cataract, the Dr appointment went fine and we do really like the Dr. She explained things well and answered all questions. Its good I did my research as the lense she recommended wasnt the best one my mom. When I asked about a different type, she said oh thats a new one. We could do that. For the first surgery it was INTENSELY painful. cataract surgery isnt supposed to be painful. Turns out they didnt use adequate numbing drops before the laserMom had to get her eyes done one at a time. The second time, we waited 40 minutes in the waiting room before being seen! They only had one machine to measure for the lenses and it was busy. When they took mom to the room, someone else got to it first and we still had to wait. Exceptionally poor scheduling that was blamed on previous patients causing them to run behind. The Dr was again very good and she made extensive notes for the surgeon so that mom hopefully wont experience the excruciating pain.

I got both my eyes treated with Lasik for nearsightedness at Insight Lasik in Boulder. The experience was great from beginning to end. All options were very well explained with pros/cons. They spent the time to do a detailed evaluation. Surgery preparation, surgery (Dr. Johnson) and follow up was all done very well. Front office staff is also great. + I can now see perfect outside at 56. - I do need reading glasses now.

I had a great experience at Insight for my LASIK procedure. Maddie was so helpful when setting up my appointment and moving it around. The process was quick and painless and the doctor clearly knew what he was doing. And I can see perfectly! In the follow up eye appointment (not at Insight), the doctor mentioned it was hard for him to even tell that I had surgery as the flap was perfectly smoothed down. I would definitely recommend Insight. Also, my mom got her LASIK done here 20 years ago and she still doesnt need glasses or any correction.

I had PRK about two months ago. My only regret is that I waited as long as I did. The staff is helpful, communicative and straightforward. The procedure, though definitely the strangest Ive undergone, was so painless and quick that it blew my mind. The first week after was rough at times, but I was skiing in less than a month and my eyesight was pretty stable in about five weeks. Two months later, I see better than I have since I was 10 years old and am still amazed to wake each morning to a clear view of my alarm clock. Recommend 100%

I had the absolute best experience with InSight! The initial consultation was extremely helpful and Dr. Bollenbacher helped assuage all of my worries about potential side effects/complications. The day of the surgery, the admin staff were very accommodating in preparing me for the surgery, and Dr. Lee gave me a detailed explanation of the different steps that would occur and what I should expect to see and hear. The surgery itself went flawlessly, and Dr. Lees explanation helped me stay calm and relaxed throughout any unsettling part of the surgery. I hope to never need LASIK again, but if I did, I would absolutely go back to InSight for another surgery!

After waiting too long to address my cataracts, I was referred to Insight by my optometrist. From the initial visit through surgeries and follow up I have experienced exemplary results due to the professionalism and compassionate care of the doctors and staff.

My Lasik correction experience was awesome and was incredibly easy thanks to the staff at Insight Vision. From the first consultation to the follow up appointments, everything is explained exactly how it happens step by step so there are no surprises at all. The actual procedure is very fast and over in minutes. To sum it up was a fun light show where the surgeon walks you through everything. Just a few hours later I was able to see fairly clearly without glasses or contacts for the first time since I can remember, what an amazing experience!Update after 1 week follow up: My vision is now better than 20/20 and I couldnt be happier, truly life changing.Also I saw another review that I want to echo that Maddie was so friendly and comforting throughout the process, truly making it the best experience possible! I second that she deserves a raise!

Everyone at Insight Vision was great. Dr. Lee got me set with a great lens for cataract surgery and was very diligent in follow up. The staff were all very nice, helpful and organized. Last but not least thanks to Dr. Stewart for giving me perfect vision! I am very very pleased with the entire process. And all this during a pandemic no less.

Insight Vision Group is the place to get your LASIK surgery done! The staff is great the doctors are experienced and knowledgeable, but above all they have genuine care for their patients. My experience with getting LASIK was absolutely wonderful. They kept me informed at all steps of the process. I could not imagine having a better LASIK experience, I have already recommended them to some of my friends. Also if you are in need of a great Optometrist Dr. Bollenbacher is absolutely amazing and I recommend him and his practice to anyone!!

Sara or Sarah the receptionist at this office is the rudest and the most politically lecturing individual in a service setting that I ever encountered. Get off your high horse and try to be nice to the patients that are paying you. I wont go back to this place.

InSight Vision Group was a great choice for my LASIK surgery. The staff was very confident and transparent in the surgery, what to expect, and how my recovery would look. I was 20/300 when I entered, having been forced to wear glasses or contacts since age 7. Not only am I now 20/15, they were able to balance out my astigmatism to sharpen images and eliminate the dreaded “halo” while driving. I’d been wanting to get LASIK for a couple years, and finally decided to pull the trigger. My eye doctor (Dr. Dupuis) recommended I go with Dr. Stewart at Insight Vision Group, and I’m glad I did! The staff are super friendly and helpful and the doctors are very thorough and knowledgeable. Dr. Stewart did a fantastic job with the surgery, and by the next day I had 20/15 vision when I went for my post op exam! Super quick recovery. If you’re thinking about getting LASIK, I can’t recommend this place enough.

I had LASIK surgery on January 28, 2021. I think that I had the most perfect experience and outcome possible for a LASIK patient. My prescription pre-surgery was -9.25 so this procedure has had a huge impact on my quality of life.Dr Stewart and Dr Bollenbacher were both awesome to work with. My father in law developed cataracts and was in need of cataract surgery. He lives in a different state but was willing to travel to see the best of the best. Our research and inquiries around Boulder led us to Dr. Stewart’s team at Insight Vision Group in Boulder. We also asked 5 different people whom we randomly met around town and all directed us to Dr. Stewart. So, we booked an appointment and my in laws made the over 12 hours drive to Boulder. The staff was amazing with working with their schedule and limited time in town. Everyone including the receptionists, the medical assistant, the surgery scheduler, Dr. Lee and Dr. Stewart were amazing! The process was so smooth and structured in such a way to instill utmost confidence in us. Well, he had both eyes done with a multifocal lens implant and the latest laser technique and ORA technology for extra precision.My father in law sees 20/20 now without any glasses. He can see up close, his computer and his golf ball!Truly miraculous! This is an incredible team specializing in cataract surgeries! Thank you to you all!

Very professional group with many great employees. They gave me the information I needed and answered all of my questions. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time.Im only a few days out from my LASIK procedure and so far seeing great! Have a little occasional blurriness when reading and some halos starbursts and halos at night, but believe this should improve over the next week.Id definitely recommend this group if youre considering LASIK.

My father had cataract surgery with Dr.Stewart last month and the results have been amazing! My fathers vision was 20/80 in one eye and the other eye he could only count fingers from 4ft away! All the staff at Insight Vision Group ( Boulder and Longmont) have been so kind and made the process easy, from the exam, to checking insurance, and scheduling. Follow up appointments after the surgery with Dr.Lee have been great. Because both doctors and technicians were so thorough, we knew exactly what to expect before, during, and after surgery. My father has gained his independence back, all thanks to Insight Vision Group.

I had cataract surgery in both eyes and my vision is now outstanding. One week after surgery my vision was already better than 20/20. I selected the PanOptix lens and my near vision is also better than 20/20. The doctors and staff were all very helpful and I would highly recommend Insight Vision to anyone considering cataract surgery.

This was such a wonderful experience. When I went in I was so nervous as the idea of getting lasered in the eye is very uncomfortable . However from the moment I went there I knew I was in safe hands. Along with everyone being so nice, cheery, and calming it was also obvious they knew exactly what they were doing. The surgery and recovery went so smooth and they took great care of me. My husband and a friend of mine have also had lasik done here and had great experiences. I will 100% recommend them to anyone who asks.

My brother needed to see a specialist after being in a motor vehicle accident and Dr. Stewart and his staff were amazing! He had traumatic injury to his optic nerve and we couldn’t figure out why his vision wasn’t improving in one eye. Dr. Stewart and his staff were amazing, they didn’t want to just rule out glaucoma so they made sure to have my brother take glaucoma drops to rule out any pathology. We came back three months later for a follow up and his vision and pressures were stable. Dr. Stewart then stated that there were no changes in his vision or pressure and so it was okay to take him off his drops. My brother only needs to come in annually now, thank you for putting my family and I at rest with this information. 10/10 would recommend. These doctors really do care !

July 10, I went in for YAG surgery on my left eye. Patrick was amazingly calming and made me feel like it was no big deal. Completely put me at ease, as I was nervous. After prepping me, Dr Stewart came in and “zapped” the scar tissue off (I had cataract surgery 5 years ago in CA). Inside 42 minutes I was in and out. Easy Peasy! I will 100% be back to have my right eye cataract removed. Thank you so much! Your entire team was wonderful.

Getting lasik was a big deal for me. I wore contacts most of my life and I was getting to the point where I just couldn’t wear them anymore. My eye doctor recommended InSight Vision (Boulder location) and I decided to take the plunge. I was incredibly nervous. For someone who had worn contacts for years, I was still very apprehensive to any type of eye surgery. I have a mild phobia when it comes to eyes so I really thought I wouldn’t be able to go through with it. I am now 5 days post surgery and I am so happy that I did it.Don’t get me wrong, the actual procedure was one of the most alien and nerve wracking experiences of my life, but the doctors and staff at Insight were so excellent and really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Johnson performed my surgery and Dr. Bollenbacher handled my pre- and post-op stuff. Both were fantastic. Dr. Bollenbacher in particular really helped me relax and trust that I was in good hands (he was the one that gave me the Ativan and stress ball so thank you for that). The surgery was so quick, probably only 90 seconds per eye, and it was scary but there was no pain. Dr. Johnson and his medical staff did an exceptional job walking me through the process and ensuring things went smoothly. My eyes are still a bit dry and sensitive to light 5 days out, but it’s so incredible being able to see without contacts or glasses. I really feel like it was worth the price and I’d recommend lasik to anyone interested.I also need to thank Maddie because more than anyone else she made me feel so welcome and comfortable throughout the entire time. She’s so friendly and was quick to answer any of my questions or help in any possible way. She’s probably a big reason I went with InSight over somewhere else. Seriously someone give that girl a raise.

Had a Lasik done here in one eye. I had previously done the other eye years ago in Oklahoma. Comparing the experience this place is very professional, much more so than the place I had an eye done in OK. They guide you through the procedure. Its scary to watch but manageable. It definitely recommend this place! I have 20/10 vision in the eye I had done there now and the cornea healed back so well my eye doctor told me there isnt any visible scar like my eye done in OK.

Incredible staff and doctors. I am a general dentist at a private dental office in Aurora, and have nothing but fantastic things to say about this office. LASIK was not a possibility due to my anatomy so I went with PRK eye surgery instead. Because the recovery was a bit more involved, I needed a little extra TLC through the process. The staff explained exactly what would happen before, during, and after the surgery, which gave me even more confidence in each individual there. I have 20/20 vision and would recommend this facility to anyone ready to make the investment improving their vision.

I felt like i was treated poorly because i have Medicaid. I got no answers or solutions to the dark spot i constantly see in my vision, nor any paperwork saying exactly what my condition is. They dilated my pupils and made me sit in a bright waiting room for a 45 min and sent me home with no temp sunglasses. I could hardly drive myself home.

Almost five stars! I had PRK laser surgery done on both my eyes and it worked great! It took a couple of months to really see the results; PRK is definitely a game of patience, but when its all said and done, my sight is better than 20/20! Actually 20/15, last time I checked. The doctors and assistants are all great, very nice people and they know what theyre doing. Their equipment is top-notch, probably the best in the state, and Ive read that one of the doctors (the one who did my surgery) even assists the Broncos and Nuggets with their eye needs. The only issue with Insight Lasik has been long waits to be helped (like 30-45 minutes), pretty much every time. Going at the end of the day should help, however. Also, I had no way to get in touch with the doctor when I had a post-surgery-related emergency during a holiday weekend. They should give better instructions for complications after surgery. The solution to my horrible pain was as easy as putting a neutral contact lens back on, but I had to go to a different eye doctor to get help, and he was then able to contact them and figure out what to do. It stopped hurting right away and it all healed again within a few days, but it sure was scary! So thats my two-cents with Insight Lasik. I would do it all over again, but I would hope they solve those couple of issues so the next customers are happy all around.

If you like to wait for hours for mediocre service, then this is the place for you. This is a puppy mill to avoid.
