After a week of backpacking my body was sore! I found this place based on it being open Sundays. The email / text reminders were super helpful. I had Brian as my therapist. He was professional and gave me a great massage- firm pressure just as I requested. I will definitely go back!

While visiting Boulder I went to use my membership at this hand and stone location. I was over the top pleased with my service. Flora I believe her name was, is AMAZING. If you are looking for a good deep tissue massage I highly recommend her!! They did an amazing job of fitting me in their schedule short notice as well.

I was a member and found the services to be mediocre at best. Poor customer service and as most chains, are really only interested in taking your money. Do not recommend. I am now a member at Spavia - Boulder and it is absolutely amazing.

Very nice staff. A bit of miscommunication up-front but nothing serious. They will try to up-sell which I think is to be expected from a chain model like this. Only male masseuses were available, so something to inquire about if this is important to you, when considering booking an appointment. Esthetician was widely knowledgeable and enjoyable chatting with.

I really like Hand & Stone. They are personable; quick to respond, flexible, and have excellent professionals. It is a pleasure to go there.

Loved the spa. Great atmosphere, wonderful and welcoming staff, really great massage; HIGHLY recommend the CBD add-on. 10/10, will be coming back.

UPDATE: Changed to 1 star. Someone emailed me to contact them (see below Never got a response so I guess it was just a system generated message. Now I can add that to my reasons for never going back.Massage was fine. I wasnt offered any water or any beverage afterwards. I felt pressure to sign up for their monthly plan. When I politely declined I was asked if there was a specific reason why, which was weird.I wont go back

I wanted to love Hand and Stone Boulder location. I bought 2 gift cards for my girlfriend and myself to enjoy facials. Three months later COVID reared its ugly head. Imagine my surprise In February 2021 when the receptionist told me my gift cards expired because I did not use them in the time of COVID. I asked that the manager call me and I NEVER got a call back. I was very surprised that the spa used the actual time frame of 1 year during the ugly COVID time frame (purchased in November 2019, they expired Nov 2020) as an excuse to void out my gift cards. Getting a facial in 2020 was never going to happen for me nor my friend. Extremely disappointed with the business acumen of this location

I absolutely love this place. It’s a calm and inviting place where the staff always makes me feel at home and attended to. They are knowledgeable and honest whenever I ask questions. When you join you get a few free coupons for add ins and upgrades and I enjoyed trying all of those out. The experience is straightforward and relaxing and my message specialist Brian always made me feel heard and respected. Both the specialist and the front desk staff always do everything in their power to make the experience perfect.This is the third place I tried having a massage membership with and they take the cake hands down. My previous experience with competitor Spavia was so negative that I was almost too scared to join another place. All of the issues I’ve had at past places were never issues here. And if they were issues, the team worked with me to resolve it immediately. When I felt uncomfortable going due to COVID, they didn’t ask questions or try to convince me not to pause my account, they made it SO easy and that made me feel supported and comfortable compared to other places that always come across sales driven and fake. One time, They charged me when I had already froze my account due to the pandemic and it caused my back account to go into overdraft protection. I called and told someone and they immediately reversed the charge and credited the amount charged from overdraft to my account. Mistakes happen and they always own up to them and work quickly to fix them. That’s huge and very rare in this industry I’ve found. I trust the company and the message specialist and that’s my number one goal.

Fantastic massage! I felt very comfortable and understood. Jamie was professional, knowledgeable and very good at his craft. The spa itself was very clean and peaceful and safe. Cant wait to go back!

All the people that work there are absolutely lovely! Its always so very clean and very accommodating. Jamey is my go to masseuse and he is great! Super friendly and a great memory even if you haven;t seen him for months. Definitely recommend!

Ive been a member since they opened and have really enjoyed the ambiance they create with welcoming front desk staff and quality massage therapists. I have my favorites of course, but overall, they hire excellent humans for all aspects of their spa. I look forward to you reopening soon once the Pandemic subsides...:(

Stan is a great masseur. It was my first massage after the beginning of pandemic and I enjoyed it sooooo much. Safe from COVID perspective. Yet very thorough and very relaxing.Thank you, Stan!

The facial was great. I felt the covid safety protocol during the facial made me very uncomfortable. I would probably go back after the pandemic.

The admin team were welcoming and cordial. My massage was good and I appreciated the inclusion of hot towels as part of the service. My only constructive criticism is that while I let the therapist know at the start of my service that my neck was very tense and I’d rather focus be on my back, shoulders and neck and that I didn’t need much leg work done; more time was spent on my legs than my neck so I unfortunately did leave still holding on to quite a bit of neck tension.

I was so excited that Hand and Stone finally came to Boulder!! I have been a member of Hand and Stone for about 6 years and have gone to many different locations throughout the country as well as other massage chains....and I can honestly say I had the best massage with Lisa today. I always compare my massages to the one I had at a Four Seasons a few years ago and this one was even better. Lisa had amazing firm/deep pressure that was perfect and so relaxing. Everyone in the place was very friendly and it was clean and I highly recommend it! A+++

I am very impressed with Hand and Stone, and visited Aly for a facial in Nov 19. The facilities are clean, peaceful, and professional. Ive been to quite a few spas in Boulder, and this was my favorite. The facial was balanced with a relaxing and calming head/neck massage, which I appreciated for a spa day and was impressed with the price. The product line is top notch as well.- I would highly recommend Hand and Stone.

Massage was good. I prefer a little more pressure. I wish this facility had more spa feel like. Maybe to start massage with inhaling aroma oils or something that make u feel like day spa. After all it’s one of better massage experience I had in Boulder.

Hand and Stone is a great deal for the services offered. They partner with some local businesses to provide cheaper discounts. I am surprised at how having a chance to schedule a monthly massage for a great price is so simple. Marcey is amazing and I feel as if the therapists work with what my muscles will allow rather than forcing something uncomfortable. Would highly recommend.

Love it! Finally a spa that is open in the evenings and open 7 days a week to make it convenient for those who work and have hectic schedules, but really need to take some time focus on stress relief an hour here and there. I visited on their soft opening friends and family day. Had a great facial. Beautiful, relaxing, convenient, quality services.

I have had a Facial and Waxing done at the Boulder Location. What a wonderful experience. Everyone is friendly, and experienced. I can’t wait to go back and try a Massage.

If I dont feel fabulous I see my girl Haley and get a facial and waxing. I wear stage makeup, Ive been to other spas in town, hand an stone has the best prices AND the most relaxing atmosphere. I bought my mom $150 gift card (she lives in Florida) .

When my massage therapist asked where my problem area was I replied w/ “my lower back” just as I had put on the questionnaire. An hour into the service goes by and my lower back was never focused on and barely touched. This wouldnt be a big deal if I wasn’t in chronic pain and didn’t have limited windows to do things such as get a massage. I paid for the additional CBD oil service and still left $20 in gratuity but I will not be returning since I left in pain . Save your money and find a local service that will actually take care of you.

My girlfriend and I had a couples massage. After filling out 15 minutes of paperwork, we got a 40 minute massage ( we scheduled an hour) that included the extras like my girl friends cold facial and foot massage. So basically a 30 minute massage and 10 minutes for extras. Their excuse the paperwork, but next time we wont have to fill it out.The massage was very average. And very rushed.Additionally they try to sell packages of massages that are pretty bad! Be careful. We are not going back.

I wanted a personal oasis for at least an hour and got one at Hand and Stone in Boulder! I enjoyed a sensitive skin facial with Dermalogica products from my esthetician Gail. Her work is magical. You will be well cared for at this day spa!
