As a first-timer to acupuncture, I was pretty freaked out and skeptical to the idea of someone sticking needles in my body. However, Joaquina and Bradley have such incredible ability to tune into and deliver individualized treatments to their patients based on their needs, I cannot recommend their services enough!Since I was a child, Ive suffered from chronic migraines, neck pain and back pain and I thought being pain-free was not an option for me. Even after the first treatment, I was blown away by how much it helped to alleviate my chronic symptoms. After about 6 or 7 treatments I can legitimately say I am pain-free!! Bradley is the best as far as I am concerned. He has helped me deal with a myriad of issues that have come up in the past year that I have been seeing him regularly. Dealing with forearm and wrist issues? He’s seen it before and the treatment is a huge help in correcting the issue. Weird muscle injuries, maybe a tear or a lot of pain? He will help diagnose and treat the muscles that are causing the issue. I thoroughly trust his judgement, and I think his results speak for themselves.

Im still training hard and Bradley is still there to tweak, and fix me, even on short notice.My body requires maintenance. Its frustrating to have to slow down and let your body heal but with Bradley Ive found an excellent teammate for this journey.So far he has completely healed a shoulder injury, and in just one visit was able to give my wrist more range of motion than Id had in months!I cant recommend him and his practice highly enough, Im incredibly excited to have found someone who understands my physical practice and can really keep me going at 100%.

I was in the healing field for a number of years and recently was wrestling some eczema issues. I tried a number of things before coming to Samhitta. Joaquina is a godsend. To give you an idea, I have diagnosed Crohns disease, I was a cigarette smoker, and I have breathing issues as well as anxiety issues. I was skeptical about getting acupuncture but from the moment I met Joaquina, I knew I was in excellent hands. I have only been seeing her for a month, and the Crohns issue I originally went in for was solved within a week, and I have quit smoking. Not only is she obviously an attuned and well-trained acupuncturist, but she is one of the most kind people Ive ever met. Could not speak more highly of the services she offers!

I started seeing her for my general health (indigestion, fatigue and allergy) and fertility in summer 2012. My health has improved greatly since I have received a regular treatment from her and I conceived my baby in Dec 2012. As my due was getting closer, I asked Samhitta to give me a treatment at my birth because I know acupuncture works well for promoting labor and pain relief. I didnt want any medical intervention and I chose acupuncture to support the natural vaginal labor. She gladly said yes. I gave birth at Foothills on Aug 27 in 2013 and she was there. Fortunately she was one of few acupuncturists who were accredited to treat in the hospital. Samhitta was a true gift that night. We called her on our way to the hospital at night and she came promptly after we arrived at the birth center and (to our surprise) she stayed to the end the whole time for 6 hours!!! She helped me with acupuncture whenever we needed a break-through at difficult moments. I believe that her medicine made my labor much easier. However her presence was more than her medicine. She was there for us with strong and unshakable presence, which was so much support to me. I don’t know how to appreciate her. She is an excellent acupuncturist and herbalist with profound knowledge and clinical experiences. However what makes me trust her most is her good heart to truly care for others. I cannot say enough good things about Joaquina as a practitioner. I have been a patient of hers since 2015. After a period of not feeling healthy overall I turned to acupuncture. I was so impressed with Joaquina and my whole experience at Community Acupuncture Clinic Boulder yesterday, which was the first time I had ever been there. Joaquina is so talented and is a gifted healer! I have been in severe pain in my lower back for several days (and have been battling it off and on for 15 years) and could barely get out of bed or off the couch yesterday because of the pain.I was a bit skeptical about acupuncture going in to the appointment because I am a veterinarian trained in Western medicine and also because I have had acupuncture in the past a few times, and it didnt work.However, Joaquina was amazing! She intuitively seemed to know how heal me. Although when I left the office I didnt notice a difference in my pain, once I got home and throughout the evening, I felt so much better!!
