I called about a prescription, they said it would be ready in an hour. I go to the pharmacy an hour later and they tell me they’re out and that it won’t be ready until the following Monday (3 days later). Great. I then receive a text from them saying that my prescription will be ready in a few hours, so I call the pharmacy again because now I’m just confused, and the lady who answered spent the whole call interrupting me and not answering a single question I asked. She then proceeded to say “thank you bye” and hung up on me mid sentence, not impressed Fred Meyer.

Was annoyed when my doctor had to call in a prescription twice because Fred Meyer didnt receive it. When my infant couldnt get hers on time because they did the same from her pediatrician I realized that the convenience of being attached to Fred Meyer wasnt worth the hassle of their broken systems. Walgreens for me I guess.

Never really had a problem with this pharmacy until today. The lady who worked till closing tonight was a bit rude and unprofessional. Im not sure if it was intentional but still off-putting nonetheless

I appreciate the amazing staff of this pharmacy. Even though they seem very short staffed and overwhelmed since the pandemic, they still continue to provide great service. Thank you guys!

I’ve been going to Fred’s pharmacy for 20 year and until recently it’s been fine. Then Patti quit, then Stephanie quit and they hired Sirak. Bad choice. Very rude. And the floor is always dirty. I’m going to make the extra effort just to go across the busy street. Enough poor customer service and filth.

Terrible service, terrible staff, called twice for the prescriptions, each time said ready for pickup tomorrow and the next day when I arrived there they asserted there’s no prescription for me. I ended up calling my doctor to switch to another pharmacy. Also the attitudes of the staff were so indifferent and arrogant.

This review is specifically for getting the COVID Vaccine.If you made an appointment online, got the confirmation email, have your drivers license, and health insurance, just be aware that youll probably be waiting at LEAST 45 minutes after your scheduled appointment time.(In my case) If you made an appointment online, got a confirmation email, have your drivers license and have no health insurance, just be aware that whoever is checking people in for their vaccine may lie to turn you away. *remember, the COVID vaccine is FREE*I arrived at the pharmacy about 10 minutes early and went ahead and stayed in line since there was a line already forming, in hopes that by the time I get the the counter, Ill be right on time for my appointment time. I get to the counter, Tampe, who was checking people in for their appointments asked for drivers license and insurance card. Which then I gave her my drivers license but told her that I have no insurance. Tampe looks at me and tells me its fraud to lie about not having health insurance and I can go to jail, which I told her I really dont have any. She then proceeds to look at a piece of appointments and yells across the counter that I had no appointment. Flustered that I may have gone to the wrong location, I grab my phone to check my email, as Im doing that, she tells me that theres nothing she can do for me because she doesnt see me on the schedule, theyre already overbooked and only has 20 vaccines available and tries to dismiss me, but I pull up my conformation and everything, and she continued to tell me theres nothing she can do and walks away.I call the number on my confirmation email and got someone on the line who confirmed the location and my appointment time on TWO different sites (so I really did have an appointment here at the time I stated)When I went back to the counter, of course Tampe was already annoyed that I dare go back, tells the person that Im on the phone with the same thing she told me, nothing she can do. So the person on the phone with me requests to speak with the pharmacist, then a minute later Tampe comes back saying shell squeeze me in after telling me they had no extra shots available. Well, I got my shot, just 2 hours AFTER my appointment time because I didnt have health insurance.So beware as the COVID vaccine becomes available for everyone 16 and older. Give yourself some extra time, but do not be afraid to call for help if someone denies you of the vaccine.

The worst pharmacy I have dealt with.Always the drug is not ready, you have to wait for a long time, and they do not respect that their clients are sick and are unable to stand for long time. I had to deal with them because they are near my home.What happened today was very bad and I will never back again, when I went today to get my refill I said: my clinic did the order, the medicine must be ready. She responded in a very rude manner, disrespectful, and in a loud voice: You have to order by yourself tow days before!

Understaffed but Amazing anyway! they always have lines out the door with every person wanting to ask questions - not ready with insurance or want to argue about insurance ( call your insurance from home not on my time) then they stand in line with me and complain that it takes too long - this is medication people not McDonalds! the staff is always polite - helpful- and working as fast as they can- i call in my refills so it’s pretty easy and i don’t wait until the last minute and expect the world to revolve around my needs.. thanks for doing your best.. we could all use a little more kindness and patience in the world :)

Thank you for each individual that works at this pharmacy!After my emergency dentist visit a couple hours before my flight. I was prescribed medication that I needed to get quickly to leave on time to the airport. I went to Walgreens and the staff at the location told me I would need to wait an hour or more just to fill my prescription and were cold and rude.I decided to try another pharmacy and I came to Fred Myers Pharmacy the staff was understanding, kind, professional and efficient! They took care of me and got me out the door just in time for my flight! I’m so thankful for each and every one of you who went out of your way to help me!Thank you!

This pharmacy has its good and bad days. Most of the time you have to wait 15+ minutes with only a few people in line because they are understaffed. However, today I encountered something that was just unacceptable-- I went in and asked to get a prescription refilled around noon. She said it would be done around 4pm. I came back again at 6pm and she told me that it had not been completed. However, it was not the ladys fault (as she was filling in from a different Fred Meyer because they never have enough people) and she apologized. This medication is incredibly important for me to take and thanks to the trouble of trying to call, and even going through the doctors office I do not have any medication left. And yet, they will take 40 minutes to refill it after it should have been done hours ago!! I need this medication to survive...wow, just wow. I had just moved from another pharmacy as this one was closest but I think I will need to move again.

By far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Ive used this pharmacy for a little over a year so I feel comfortable about this rating. The pharmacist are Extremely rude and unhelpful. They are also very inconsistent on when they say your prescription will be ready. For example if they say your meds will be ready by 4:30 , in reality they mean 7:00. I will never, I mean NEVER use this pharmacy again!

I switched to this one this year because I moved. I have to call every time to get my prescriptions. My last one called me when they were ready. This place doesn’t. They always ask when I want to pick it up. I always give them a hour and a half. And always get in return “I’ll try my best” with a laugh at the end 🙄😴

This has been my pharmacy for the last 6 months.Though they remained helpful and professional, the staff seemed to experience some personal discomfort (likely just a lack of exposure, since theres a first time for everything) with me getting my gender-transition hormones through them. But now, six months in, they seem to have acclimated to such a thing.I have no issues with any of me prescriptions; everything has been filled correctly and promptly, and the staff even found me coupons for what my insurance wouldnt cover.I feel safe, and experience no sense of judgement from this pharmacys current staff.

As other reviewers have noted, there are certain employees at this pharmacy who have on multiple occasions spoken in a way that was terse, annoyed and unhelpful. The fact that at least one of these people appears to be management of some sort is unfortunate as management should be the example not the hindrance.Lastly, if this location is overworked and understaffed then Fred Meyer shares a part in this critique as they are not providing their employees with the tools necessary to succeed and assist the customers in a gracious and compassionate way.

11/4/2019 Another horrible experience at this pharmacy. I just called to see if I had a filled prescription waiting. Allison answered the phone and forced me to wait on hold for more than 15 minutes. When I called back after waiting she was extremely short with me when I told her I was on hold for 15 minutes. She gave me all these bogus excuses and told me how many people were in line. Made me feel like I was the one with the problem without showing any sympathy/empathy. Guess I need to go back to Walgreens again. This pharmacy is horrific!I have never before in the years of being a Fred Meyer pharmacy customer ever felt so disrespected than James Hamamoto did today. My medicine prescription was submitted digitally like it always is, and I called 3 days ago to make sure it was going to be available for pick up. The lady on the phone said, “Yes we have it and it will be ready by tomorrow.” I then said ok I will be in on Friday to get it. She said that it wouldn’t be a problem. I came in on my lunch break, and asked to pick up my prescription. The young lady was polite and said I’m sorry but it isn’t ready. I respectfully explained that I had called in days ago and that I don’t have much time to wait. She said that she’d ask the pharmacist to make an exception and move me to the front. He did and it only took about 10 minutes. At this point I was very pleased. However, right before I was finished, the pharmacist came over to scan the order and decided to start lecturing me about planning ahead and that this time of day is very busy. I explained that I had called to make sure my order was complete, and that I was told that it would be, but the James Hamamoto continued to argue with me saying that it takes up to two days for medicine to show up, as if I didn’t already know how it works. He continued to lecture me and made me feel like I wasn’t being listened to. I’ve been ordering medication for years every month the same way. I know how it works. This is why I called ahead of time and make sure and communicate. I have never felt so disrespected and will never go to this pharmacy again and I would recommend that nobody else go here either.

Staff are rude and lacking knowledge of anything insurance related and show little interest in what they do which translate bad to the customers. No one smiles, no one is helpful, and they need a staff overhaul!

Today I had to pick up my medication and go to Fred Meyer Pharmacy. I was the only one standing in the line and it took fifteen minutes for the pharmacist to show up to hand over my medication.There was another pharmacist working in the drop-off and probably the manager and he did not alert the staff to come and serve the pickup line and there is no way I can ring a bell or something to indicate I am in line.When I asked the staff for an explanation, she said she was busy inside and they are understaffed. Total waste of time.
