I can not believe that a delivery driver just left my supplies at the front door of the building. It states clearly there that packages should be taken to individual apartments not left in lobby. He also flipped off the person that tried to explain he could not just leave it there. I hope I get all my supplies and they are not stolen from the lobby! This is unbelievable and unacceptable from this driver. I would hope Byram is more professional than they appear from this delivery.

Ive been using Byram Healthcare exclusively for my diabetes supplies for many years. I was disappointed to see so many negative reviews on Google because I have had only positive experiences with this company. Anything involving health insurance can be complicated and I wonder how many of the negative reviews actually resulted from issues with the insurance companies. Ive received only great customer service. When I had to switch insulin pumps two years ago, the customer service person I spoke to helped me identify all the right supplies to go with my new pump and was patient with me despite my not knowing all the correct names for each product. In the many years I have used Byram, my order has always been correct and shipped quickly. I love that I can easily order online and I love that they are a local company.

I have never posted a negative review in my life but I am so frustrated with this company I cannot help but say something. Avoid this company if you can. I am so thankful my doctor was able to send my equipment right to my pharmacy so I no longer have to deal with Byram. They are incredibly unreliable at delivering my Diabetes supplies and seemingly incompetent at communicating with insurance companies. I tried to reorder my Diabetes supplies 3 weeks before they were about to run out and did not get them until 6 weeks later despite multiple calls to both Byram and my insurance company. My insurance company said they sent the necessary information immediately, as verified by documentation, but Byram “never received it” and said “there’s nothing they can do but wait.” When I asked if they could expedite the shipping whenever they finally got approval, they said I would have to be pay $50 extra for shipping. I don’t understand how I am medically and financially paying the price for their incompetency when I did not do anything wrong and ordered my supplies with more than enough time. They don’t seem to understand that they are in charge of life-saving equipment. Had it not been for my doctor’s office doing in 12 hours what Byram couldn’t do in 6 weeks and daily phone calls to them and my insurance company, I would have been medically in trouble. They also repeatedly sent me defective or the wrong supplies and ignored my requests for replacement supplies since what they sent did not work. They said I needed to “Take it up with the manufacturer.” The entire doctor’s office and various members of my Diabetes care team all shakes their heads when I mention anything about Byram as they have a notoriously awful reputation. I am SO THANKFUL I do not have to deal with this horrendous company again.

New customer with Byram and already want a different supplier. Got discharged from the hospital on a Saturday, had order for supplies faxed over same day. I missed their call on Monday, tried calling them back on Monday and Tuesday but kept getting hung up on by their automated system. Got another call from them on Wednesday, lady said everything was good to go and I would receive my supplies on Friday. I call back Friday to check the status as I am now out of supplies, then new lady I talk to sys my order never shipped because there was no valid Rx(which had already been faxed over on my day of discharge). I brought that up and almost immediately the Rx was found and I was told she would release it to some other department so it could be shipped. She went on to say she hoped the supplies would be delivered Saturday. Im not holding my breath in the least.-EDIT- Saturday came and went, no delivery again as promised.Completely ridiculous in handling a new account, leaving a patient without medical supplies, especially when its a brand new thing, puts the patient at risk for infection, and doesnt inspire a single bit of confidence for future transactions.I am in a power wheel chair and their suggestion was to just go down to the nearest ER(16 miles away) and see if theyll just give me some supplies. Yup, super easy and convenient, cheap too considering medical transport would be 200$ each way... and never mind the out of network ER bill in the process because they wouldnt just hand supplies over. It doesnt seem like Byram cares about their clients, has foresight, or has a brain to think with - just drones behind a computer waiting for a paycheck.

We had a truly awful experience with Byram this year. The short story is they sent us a defective medical insertion site and would not accept a return since their office was closed due to covid-19. Byram was unresponsive during this dispute as they never replied to our certified letter, nor did they call us back despite PROMISING us that they would :(However, after we filed a formal complaint with the King County District Attorneys office Byram called us back the next day and gave us a full refund. The representative apologized unreservedly for how we were mistreated and we just want to publicly acknowledge their recent efforts to correct their mistakes. Hopefully, in the future Byram with treat their clients with the dignity they deserve without the State having to intervene......

I have been getting medical supplies from Byram for over 10 years and I appreciate their service very much. Recently I received an incomplete order. They are a bit long on the phone-wait time, but they fixed everything immediately and shipped my missing materials right away. I especially appreciate the help I got from an exceptional employee, Cindy, in Bothell, WA. I am appalled that a company called HCD has posted horrible, negative things on line about Byram in order to poach Byrams customers. Their negative posts are the first thing that comes up when you google Byram Healthcare Reviews. Such a deplorable tactic. Is that even legal??!!! Anyway, KUDOS to Byram Healthcare, I am sticking with them!!

Im soooo frustrated with Byram as they consistently send my supplies late. Almost every month I have to call and wait online to ask where my supplies are and why theyre not sent on time. After hearing that it is an insurance issue, I called my insurance (Medicaid) and was told thats not true that they can send the supplies whenever as long as they only bill every thirty days. My supplies are VERY costly to have to go to the store and buy...After reading the reviews (64 with only 2 stars) I now know its not just me...Please put the needs of your clients first.

Did not receive 2 packages, was told by Byram customer service I had to call ontrac shipping to figure out what happened and call byram back with a reference number. Called ontrac, they investigated with the outcome that the driver was in the correct area at the time of the delivery. They stated that they didn’t have a reference number and that the procedure was that byram had to coordinate with them. Called byram back and only at that point was told that someone had called them to report that the packages had been delivered to their address. They never even contacted us to let us know then had me follow up with the delivery company. Now my husband has been out of his medical supplies for days. Terrible customer service!

I hope this helps someone - if you have incontinence supplies and you have Molina insurance GO TO SHEILD HEALTHCARE!! if you dont have Molina go to OLYMPIC PHARAMCY. Both ship directly to you and are so much more reliable. Olympic Pharmacy even gives you monthly reminder calls!! Sadly Olympic pharmacy isnt in contract with Molina otherwise I would refer everyone there! They are one of a kind and really really caring. Above and beyond service!Byram is the definition of unorganized and uncaring when it comes to supply orders, you order and it doesnt come when stated or they just totally forget to order what you asked for... Like come on. Half the time you send the wrong amount and then dont own up to it! Never will recommend to anyone.

Consistently ship my Dexcom sensors late despite me ordering weeks in advance. This causes me to have to fly blind between finger pokes for a couple days, which causes me a lot of stress and worry. Example: I ordered weeks ago and they just shipped them yesterday despite shipping the transmitters that were part of my order?? My last sensor expires tonight and the others arent supposed to arrive until two days later. Very frustrating and I wish I could order straight through Dexcom. When I get my insulin pump supplies directly through the manufacturer, they always send them well in advance, allowing me to feel comfortable knowing I wont run out.

I’m so frustrated with this company. Whenever I order supplies it takes approximately 4 weeks to ship. Last time I ordered I had to wait so long I ended up completely out of sensors and transmitters while pregnant. I called multiple times with different answers to my questions. After crying on the phone with my insurance and Bryam all I got was that my order was in an insurance review process and there was nothing to do to speed up the process. Bryam also stated they needed a prescription from my doctor and had faxed them once and waited 3 weeks to refax!!!!!! I wish I could find another company to go through but unfortunately my insurance won’t let me. So frustrating. Currently waiting on an order that I placed 2 weeks ago, hopefully I don’t run out of supplies again. Absolutely 0 stars.

There are too many issues to list as to why I recommend no one ever do business with this company. This is probably the most important one though. They sent me to collections, in error. They cancelled my monthly payment plan without notifying me, sending me into collections and jeopardizing my credit. The statement was not marked Byram or with the collector name, and I almost threw it out. Their business and accounting practices are unethical, and quite frankly they should not be handling anyones personal medical information. PERIOD.

I was able to get billing to confirm the credit and I can disregard the invoice. I do not envy people working in CS***Good luck ever trying to get in contact with them on the phone. Ive tried to no avail due to an error in their billing/shipping department. Byram has switched from G5 dexcom to G6 dexcom. I cancelled the order but they still sent it out anyway. I had to request a return form, which they promptly mailed, but now I have an invoice for $489 despite returning a product over a month ago.I ended up calling the customer service line and selected the option for a callback when one of the representatives was available. I got a call back about 45 mins later and was immediately greeted with hold music. 10 mins into the call back and still no one is answering. I ordered some medical supplies that is completely essential for someone who has a medical condition and CANNOT be reused. I ordered the supplies on May 8th, and I received a confirmation that they would arrive in 3-5 business days. It is now May 23rd, and I haven’t received anything. I contacted their office to check what’s going on, and they said I’d get them this weekend. Well now I’m down to two left and thanks to their negligence I will now have to reuse. I personally am a healthcare professional, and I’ve NEVER experienced terrible service like this. I will never be using Byram Healthcare as my preferred medical supply company. Spoke with customer service again about this issue, yet once again my box was delivered without a knock, doorbell ring, or effort to place the box in such a concealed manner that it would not be stolen. It is 5 yards walk to the fence to my backyard and the flower bed is even closer. I am not asking a 3rd time, but just wondering where the delivery man lives. Not to hurt him/her of course, but because I would like to move somewhere that caused me to believe leaving big boxes around was ok as long as i put the person’s name on it that it belongs to.P.S. I donated $10,000 to everyone who reads this.. your check is waiting for you outside your front door. Don’t worry, it has your name on it, so no one will take it. Pick it up at your leisure.

When I called our insurance company to inquire how to go about ordering a free breast pump they recommended Byram Healthcare, stating, “It’s very popular and well liked by expecting mothers in your area”.Thinking it would be a brick and mortar store I’d be going into I looked up the location on Google Maps surprised to find a very low rating. But I called anyway.Upon calling I was connected to a call center where the order was quickly and professionally placed. The representative and myself even had a brief moment to bond over midwifery care.I was told that once they verified with my care team I was indeed expecting, and then cleared it with insurance, they would process the order and ship it out within 4-7 business days (or something close to that; About a week or so).I’m a little ahead of schedule with this order and am in no rush. Even if they turned out to be slow like some reviews report, I’d most likely still get it before baby arrived.I made this call in the early afternoon last Friday. When I got home Monday evening the box was on our porch! How much quicker could they have been? Wow.My five star review is based on these facts:1. I was connected to a customer care representative with little to no hold time.2. Customer service was professional and warm.3. The ordering process was all done over the phone quickly and easily.4. The product was deliver ahead of schedule.5. My experience was 100% positive with no room for improvement. This is not to discredit others who genuinely had a rough go. There seem to be a number of steps in the ordering process and at any point something could fall through or end up delayed. My experience just happened to be flawless on this occasion. I thought it would be fair to the business to share more positive stories as well.An over all score of 1.9 is shockingly low and it did make me a bit nervous. I’d like you to know it’s not necessarily an accurate representation of everyone’s experience.

Unfortunately Ive had to use Byram for three years as my insurance deals only with them. A one star review is really pushing it, Id prefer to give them less. Chronic problems, literally on EVERY order. Their warehouse is out and they need to get product from the OTHER COAST; prescription holds; unknown issues where the order just disappears; website ordering not working resulting in 90 minute hold times that lead to other problems. The list goes on and on. If they dealt directly with the public, theyd be OUT OF BUSINESS. But they work with insurance companies that hold the patient hostage.State insurance commissioners, where are you? Why is this company putting lives at risk? They dont provide aspirin, they provide critical life supplies!! I totally agree with a previous commenter, they should be prosecuted!!

Because they are taking so long, I may not be able to continue breastfeeding and that is very upsetting. Highly unfortunate experience. First off it took forever to get authorization and my first order, and some of the items sent were not what I needed and I had to call back and fix it. Otherwise things went “ok” until I had to switch to a new tube feeding formula due to severe intolerance of the formula I was on, it was causing severe nausea, pain, and vomiting. I have Gastroparesis and go into frequent flare ups where I can’t eat anything and depend on tube feeds.I was told that they have the formula I needed in stock and switching would be no problem. My shipment would be delivered within a couple of days. I felt comfortable being without tube feeds for that period of time. Day three, a Thursday, rolls around and I call and ask why i haven’t received any delivery or even a tracking number for that matter. I was then told by a very disgruntled man (I will not name his name here but I do know it) that they do not carry my new formula, and it has to be special ordered and won’t even show up at the warehouse until the following MONDAY. I informed them that I would be without food until then and something needed to be done. He responded without any sort of concern, stating that he has no resolution, and this will be a problem that happens every month because they do not have that formula in stock. What kind of company thinks it’s ok for their patient to go without food for days to weeks every month?I switched to Shield Healthcare, and they very happily shipped out the formula I needed the same day, and it was at my door the next day. I just called Byram today to return my feeding pump and got the same person. He asked why I am discontinuing service. I explained why and he had the same grumpy tone of voice he did last time and had nothing to say. This whole circumstance and review would have been completely different if they had been straightforward from the get-go, instead of telling me that they have what I need in stock when they really do not and failing to inform me of this.
