Dr. Barrett is amazing. Ive seen several chiros, and his technique and skill set the bar so high. Weve moved, and will drive 200 miles to come to see him. Hes never a crack and break--- hes a tap tap tap that I SWEAR fixes everything. Hes also so in tune with YOU...what is OFF in your spine. I was a nay-sayer, but no longer. I may only see him randomly, but if Im ever seriously out of whack (You know when youre out of whack), I call, and go see him! And fixed. Ive referred him to family and friends and everyone agrees - Dr. Barrett makes our bodies able to enjoy life to its fullest.

I and my family have been seeing Dr. Barrett over 20 years for regular maintenance and acute issues. We have no need or desire to go elsewhere. Recently remodeled, always ready to help, smart and friendly staff.

Dr. Barrett has treated both me and my 20 month-old daughter. He was very easy going and did not ask a ton of questions.After each visit he would give a brief synopsis of where I had the adjustment, which was very helpful! He suggested follow up appointments as needed but it was never excessive.Ive been to several chiropractors in the past, but I feel that I was treated the best at Martha Lake! Both my daughter and I are in better health as a result of our visits.

Billing staff is incompetent and has terrible communication

I have been to chiropractors for different reasons for many years.Dr Barrett has changed my life, I can get an amazing diagnosis and treatment for my body and be better almost immediately with very few return appointments!

I do not like Chiropractors. I have never subscribed to their commonly held philosophy that if they adjust your back, they can cure everything from asthma to infertility. And, I dont like having my back cracked. I grew up in a home where it was considered quackery. That being said, I also have had neck and joint issues for several years and wanted relief from them. After going to one Chiropractor for joint issues who forced me to attend an education class after hours which wasted an hour of my life telling telling me how bad conventional medicine was, I decided I was right about the quack aspect and didnt go again for about 5 years. The break-up was as unpleasant as I assumed it would be. They called me daily for weeks trying to get me to schedule another appointment, threatened me with joint damage if I didnt finish and then sold my phone number to a third party harasser who continued to call me for 2 years. It was a nightmare.I spent a lot of time looking for what I call, A Chiropractor for people who hate Chiropractors. I just wanted my back, neck and kneed adjusted - no miracle cure promises and no back cracking.I found exactly what I was looking for with Dr. Ball. He kindly listened to my, I dont like Chiropractor rant and then proceeded to adjust me without a single pop or crack. I walk out of their office feeling aligned and loosened. After just a few short weeks, he will tell you that hes finished and to call if something hurts or feels out of alignment. There is no endless number of appointments based on what my insurance will pay or weird additional treatments like traction. There is just gentle adjustment and a would you like to make another appointment question. I dont feel like Im being held hostage in a torture chamber. I am a patient for life.

I have been going to chiropractors since I was 10 years old. I currently see Dr. Barrett at Martha Lake Chiropractic and I have never been to a chiropractor who is so thorough in making sure every single adjustment is done that is needed. He will sometimes spend 30 minutes identifying every joint or vertebrae that is misaligned and he is able to correct it on the spot. I always feel better afterwards and he explains to me what he is doing every time. I never leave wondering what adjustments were just made, and I never feel like my adjustments are the same ole thing each time. He truly pays attention to what is needed and he is not in a hurry to rush people out the door.

After losing my long term chiropractor to a move I was hesitant to go through the trial and error of finding a new one. thankfully Ive been driving by Dr. Barretts office for the last 3 years, and his funny signs and a recurrence of horrible back pain caused me to stop by and get an adjustment.Dr. Barrett knows his stuff. Not only is he easy to talk to and communicate your problems to, he has the top of the line equipment. Im so used to a flat table and a hand massager, when you go into his office, you get an amazing adjustment table that does everything but cook dinner, focused effective adjustment with an impact gun, and some amazing stretching.all in all Id say I made the right choice. my back is getting better, I feel more flexible, and Im sleeping better. I highly recommend Dr. Barrett and Martha Lake Chiropractic.
