Our pup loves going to Boston Paws! She attends daycare and also boarded with them while we went on a week-long trip. Every time we pull up to Boston Paws, she cant wait to get out of the car and in the front door. Its her favorite place and we completely trust Gil, Rachael and everyone else at their facility! If I could give them 6 stars, I would!

I had a great experience at Boston Paws! My dog is normally not a fan of nail trimming, and often needs more than one person to get the job done. Ariel (Ari for short) had him in and out in less than ten minutes. She was calm, confident, kind - and did a great job with his nails! Best experience Ive ever had with nail trimming, and would highly recommend.

Boston Paws is the best! Everyone on staff is incredibly kind and show genuine affection for our pup. They remember him and greet him with hugs and pets no matter how long its been since our last visit. Boston Paws truly feels like family to us. They do a fantastic job with grooming and their rates are competitive for the area. We are so grateful for Boston Paws, and feel calm and confident leaving our beloved pup with them anytime!

Boston Paws is the best! Our dog has been going there for doggy daycare and grooming for a few years now, and the experience is always top notch. The moment we pull up to the store front, our dog starts getting super excited and he always sprints to the door once we are out of the car! Additionally, the grooming experience is always top notch, and our pup comes back with an adorable haircut.

I cannot say enough good things about Boston Paws! Our dogs have used every service and we have been thoroughly pleased. They are always full of wiggles and happy tails when we drop them off for daycare and boarding and come home zonked from all of their play time with friends. The pup taxi has dropped them at our home (pre-COVID), a feature that saved us more than once when stuck at the office or attending after work events. Ari has groomed our Irish Terrier, which involves the laborious process of hand stripping. He not only looks great, but she goes the extra mile to make sure the process isnt too taxing on the little babe. She is thorough and patient and even adhered to our ridiculous requests to leave his mohawk intact and beard extra long (definitely not the standard cut). Rachel, Gil and team are flexible, kind and trustworthy and we feel so great every time we leave our pups in their care.

My dog starts to cry with excitement the minute we turn onto Belgrade Ave and practically pulls my arm out of the socket busting a move into Boston Paws - he loves it! And he comes home totally exhausted - I love that! Rachel and crew are awesome. Worth every penny!

My dog has been going to Boston Paws for daycare for a couple years and loves it. The staff are really invested in the dogs. The facility is indoor-only (they take the dogs outside on leash for bathroom breaks several times a day), so if your dog gets easily overwhelmed surrounded by lots of other dogs in one space it may not be the best fit.

Hi all, Ive thought long and hard about posting this in here but ultimately my heart is saying its necessary. Especially after speaking with other owners who have had a similar experience. I always condone supporting local business which is what Ive always done - but in this case I would proceed with caution. After doing some research on local doggie daycares, I stumbled across Boston Paws. I spoke directly with the owner (prior to dropping my dog off) about what I was seeking and specifically what my dog would need. My dog is older and has a pinned knee so I wanted a place that would separate him with the smaller dogs and monitor him so he didnt become anxious or have a run in with larger more playful dogs. After being assured that this would be the case and he would be completely safe I decided to give them a try. Needless to say, without getting into all the details my dog was NEVER separated and his health and safety were put at risk. My dog could barely walk for three days and was in significant pain - he also came home with a dark marking under his neck...not sure if from another dog biting him or something being put around his neck. I was also overcharged twice with no apology or offer for reimbursement. When I requested to speak with the owner he refused to call me about my concerns. If you are an owner with an older dog please dont let your dog go here! In addition, this place does not limit dogs (unlike Lux Pet Resort which does) and there could be up to 100 dogs in that room at any given time which in my opinion is a safety risk. I felt that this information should be known and Im happy to go into details if anyone wants to speak offline. From one owner to another please please do your research!

They are incredible!!! Our Henry loves his day with Sarah (his hair stylist). haha. We actually followed Sarah from another facility because she is THAT GOOD! Henry is a Bernedoodle (Bernese Mountain Dog and Standard Poodle) She is great with him and with us. She takes time to show us proper grooming techniques to mitigate matting in his hair. It helps us keep after it and allows us to let it grow out a little bit longer. If you want a proper cut for your dog and them to enjoy their time, go here! We are sure glad we did! Thank you to everyone there who gives our boy so much attention. -Kyle

35 reviews1.0 star rating 12/9/2017We were highly unsatisfied with our experience at Boston Paw. The dogs boarded there over Thanksgiving weekend, and the location came at the recommendation of a friend. I was a little anxious that they had a choice of multiple accomodations when literally every other kennel in the greater Boston area was booked solid weeks in advance. When we arrived to pick our two dogs up the Saturday after Thanksgiving we were met outside with them on leash. I could smell them from 5 feet away, outside in fresh air. They smelled like urine and feces. I was so shocked at the smell that I just took custody of the dogs, and didnt say anything. The smell was so bad that we had to sleep with our windows open because it kept waking us up. We had to bathe them twice each the next morning.Additionally, both beds were soaked in urine. I had to throw them both out, I couldnt even bring them in the house. When the employee handed me the beds, I held them up against my legs and my jeans were immediately soaked. When I got home, I had recovered from my shock somewhat, and realized I had forgotten to ask if they had been given their medications. I called and politely asked if either of them had had accidents while at Boston Paw and was told: Oh, yeah, the girl dog, a lot. She wouldnt come out for 24 hours, so we just left her in there and she peed all over everything.I was also told there was blood in her urine. Our female dog was very sick from the time we picked her up. She had explosive diarrhea for 3 days and was listless. Of greatest concern, she was extremely jumpy and shied from us when we tried to pet her.I emailed the owner asking for some reassurance, an apology, an offer to pay for their new beds, anything....I didnt hear back for over a week. When I finally did, she left a giggly voicemail on my phone laughing about your nervous girl and how much fun they had with the boy dog. I returned her voicemail with an email 5 days ago asking to please let me know, in writing, if she had anything to offer in the way of an apology and never heard from her again.AVOID at all costs!!!
