My old dentist wanted to do a root canal on a tooth of mine, but when I went to see Dr. Inje Ham, she took the time and fixed the tooth with a cavity fill instead—not a temporary one but a permanent one. It’s been over a year now and the tooth is doing great. So refreshing to find a dentist who does what is best for the patient and not looking to take advantage of them. If you’re looking for a competent and honest dentist look no further. I’m 50 years old and she is the best one I’ve ever had. Dennis

Some providers are really nice and awesome but the overall run of the center isn’t very smooth or professional. I don’t recommend if you want to be taken seriously, listened to or cared for. But for something quick it’s okay.

There is a lot of improvement that need to take place.5 stars for location although I’ll give it 2.5 for parking. I feel it’s not necessary to have an appointment due to the fact that the fifteen minute grace is only applicable to them. If you more than fifteen minutes late the recommend you to reschedule. Although if ur on time u can wait more if not excessively. They have awesome providers but at times once in the room I feel rushed. The schedules are off ( example I was scheduled for one thing even tho I asked for something else). And urgent care is not so urgent. I called due to my daughter having flu like symptoms and I received a call back from urgent cate on call doctor three days later. By that time she was fine. So as far as time management and communication on services and service times the rank poorly in my book. Providers and location are superb even though they may change them at the last minute

Covid testing was quick and easy! They used the self administered swab tests. Staff was very nice and the office felt very safe with plenty of barriers in place and masks strictly enforced. They do have parking but its limited so if you have an appointment make sure to leave time to wait a few minutes in the parking lot, or find street parking (there is plenty near by)

Service is so much better. Went in for a mammogram and was in and out in less than 40 min. 3-5 yrs ago the appointment would have taken no less than 2 hrs. Thank you for the changes.

This health center has been incredible during the pandemic. Anytime Ive had to get tested for work, travel, etc, there have been no issues. Easy to get in touch with, easy to schedule, and quick turn around for results. They also offer all of the vaccines available for Covid and let you pick which one you want to take. They have partnered with Boston Medical Center and you have actual staff and nurses from BMC administer, collect, and report back the results. My chart is easy to use for electronic access. I honestly have to say that during a time when hospitals are at capacity all over the country, and healthcare workers(THANK YOU All) are bearing one of the worst known burdens in modern history, Codman Square Health Center has done a stellar job of providing safe, clean, and accessible support to communities of color in Boston. Thank you.

Awesome! The staff is exceptional. Very friendly, patient and really care of helping patients in any ways. Either on phone or physical visits. In some places, you can be worried to go cause your english is poor or you dont know the department or service you need, dont worry... at Codman square, they will find the right person to help you figure out. Saved me a costly and long trip to the ER. Went into there urgent care at night, hoping for treatment for what I thought was food poisoning. Turned out to be strep. After a 20 min wait I was able to be seen and got treatment right away.

Urgent care patient, my 1st experience with Codman: great customer service (from initial call to doctor and everyone in between was friendly and efficient), very good medical care, and fast (30 mins start to finish without an appointment).*Update. I have since made Codman my primary care provider and am very pleased. From front end to doctors exam to lab work, results and feedback (patient portal), the clinic is one of the best in the country. The only negative is that Ive been unsuccessful scheduling a behavioral health visit.

The rating scales vary. The physicians that I’ve seen are wonderful. Unfortunately, the waiting time is too long. I’m hoping that there’s some arrangement that can be made for patients that walk in on time and be seen within the timeframe limit for their appointment. Especially during this time and COVID-19 protocol.

I was extremely pleased that my fiancé and I qualified for a vaccine. Codman was efficient and rapid given the high volume of clients they had coming through their doors. We were able to get vaccinated together which put us both at ease. Thank you to the staff for their work during these difficult times.

Went in for a covid test, waited for an hour bc of a bureaucratic registration process (they want to charge insurance), no isolation from others (crazy) but no line for the test. Still we needed to hang out in the waiting room for an hour. Who is running this place. Clearly no one with common sense.5 days later still have not gotten a result, but I am sure they charged our ins. Didnt care because we went to the Heath St Clinic the next day (given CSHC attitude and the bureaucratic feel) and the results came back in 6 hours. A PSR test. No insurance, 20 minute wait, no attitude. The opposite of CSHC.

I had my appointment at the eye Doctor upstairs, not sure where I was going I know I can always ask someone for help or so I though, seeing I was running late, as soon as I got off the elevator I spoke to the first person is saw at the desk the young lady with glasses and brown locks. I said GOOD MORNING, I got no reply, so I waited a few mins cause I thought she might be finishing up before she answered, so after a min or so I said it again GOOD MORNING, at this point she looked at me over the rim of her glasses with no reply, so I said, I just needed to know if I was in the right place, she replied just have a seat and some one will be with you RUDLY, at this point the lady at the the other part of the desk with the braids, was so lovely kind and helpful, right away she said I can help you over here mama, thanks to the young lady was able to keep my appointment

YOUR QUALITY OF CARE WILL DEPEND ON YOUR PHYSICIAN!Ive been a patient since I was a little girl and they were in a small building in the heart of Codman Square. Ive had doctors that did not listen to me and did what they wanted regardless of how I described my symptoms. Ive also been blessed to have patient caring doctors as is my current PCP. Th center has expanded drastically and is a multi-disciplinary health care center with many different specialties. Remember when you choose a doctor its a relationship if youre not comfortable with the person treating you maybe its time to move on.

The main reason for the wonderful rating has to do with my amazing doctor. Dr. Severin has been my doctor for well over 20 years and he has always given me great care. Now Codman still needs major work on their front desk workers but I have not left yet and that has been about the same for 20+ years. 🙄🙂

The structure of the building is quite easy to navigate. There is also good guides around if you need assistance.

This place is a waste of time.Don’t waste your time with this place .I had an appointment for a physical that I arrived early and didn’t get seen until an hour after an appointment time . Then they ask you to pee in a cup without telling me what the test was for . I ask the nurse/medical assistant whatever her title was and she told me “I don’t know what the test is for” I was like what! How is it possible you work here and don’t know what this test is for .Then the dr came and all she did was ask me some questions hear my concerns and didn’t check me AT ALL . I was shocked. Not returning here again !

Ease in the registration process to get my COVID-19 Test. The staff made me feel very comfortable with the testing, and every possible precaution was taken to ensure the safety of the staff and that of those being tested!Very good and, I recommend this location for anyone needing/ wanting a test!

This was a flawless experience, as covid testing goes. (Ive been to a few places.) Although the process of getting the results back are a tad slower than other centers, I felt cared for. The chairs while waiting were a great help. Everyone was efficient and gracious. I am glad for Codman Square Health Center!

Coldman is the best hospital Ive ever seen.My PCP is Jennifer Vanderweele. She is beautiful, professional and has a very good attitude. She understands the patients situation and needs thoroughly and carefully, and puts herself in the patients shoes.I am glad to have chosen her as my PCP.Whats more, I am very grateful to her assistant Vivian Rutherford, who has the best attitude and responsibility I have ever met. I felt very safe at Codman Square Health Center visiting during a pandemic to get a strep test. Everyone I spoke with was warm and friendly. My nurse, Donald, was very comforting; as was my Doctor. Both offered strategies for staying calm while they performed the strep test or administered a shot.

Walked in today 11/18 to get Covid tested. Was told to call number on flyer to make an appointment and go to site on Talbot ave. After 3 dropped calls and 50 min on hold, the earliest appointment would be 11/24. (Not a joke)+ results in 3-5 days. I decided to walk in to testing site and site manager and staff were outstanding and squeezed me in. Dear Codman square health center management, this is unacceptable. How are people from the area supposed to get tested quickly with a poor setup like this?

Codman square health center Dorchester is center of excellence in community health care delivery. My experienced at the center for over two decades is a testament for good care to all patients. From language translation to general care and on time demands, knowledge of total care its a place I will highly recommend. Their commitment to the community health care is second to none. I am very proud of the services the center provides. Trust me they are very good.

I was told by a rep on the phone that despite covid, clinic X was still allowing walk ins. when i arrived the administration told me that isn’t the case; everyone needs to make an appointment. she told me she would see if they could take me even though they were closing soon. to top it off, i had a friend with me who also wanted to get tested. the kind staff agreed to stay late for us. it was such a quick process, even as new patients. the people who screened us and did our testing were SO lovely and kind and everyone is very discrete and respectful. 5 stars!

Im sharing my experience hoping that this health center will fix this problem. Earlier this morning I called this health care center to inquire if the information provided on the Massachusetts HHS website was factual and was met by the rudest, most condescending and unprofessional clerk Ive ever had to deal with at a health care facility. Id like to start by saying the receptionist was perfectly pleasant and professional, the problem lies on the person from appointments that picked up my call when I was transferred. First this person laughed when I first inquired about the information on the HHS website, then they told me they do not offer free Covid Testing, to THEN tell me they do in fact offer it/or they cant turn me away even if I dont have my insurance setup yet (cant clearly remember since I was too astonished by the situation I was experiencing). After that, this personasks me at what time I would like to schedule my appointment for, to which I replied the earliest appointment would be best, then she goes on to reluctantly tell me they open at 9am and close at 4:30pm¿? and then repeat this information several times. I got the impression this person wanted me to pick a late appointment, but I again asked to be scheduled for the earliest possible time which was 9:15 I believe. This person was notyet content enough with making me regret calling a health care center, so she again kind of laughed and gave me a later appointment for 10:15 or 10:30, it was around 8:10 at the time of the call and Im only 9 minutes away from the clinic. I couldve been there at 8:30 if I had been given the chance... At this point, I was so overwhelmed that I let her pick whatever time she wanted for the appointment, since she already had all my personal information and I was feeling so uncomfortable. After hanging up I thought about what happened and decided I did not want to be seen at a health care center that had this type of service. I called again and cancelled the appointment (thankfully someone else picked up this time), I went to a hospital in downtown, got seen without an appointment and didnt have to say twice that I didnt have insurance. Got my test and intake done in less than 20 minutes total. Even if I receive a 4 digit bill from this other hospital I will gladly pay it. My call to Codman was not about charity, it was a patient calling to inquire about their options, that should not be a difficult situation for a professional to handle. I understand this person does not personally tend to patients, but I felt really unsafe going to this clinic after having to deal with such an awful situation before even stepping foot on your premises. If you record your calls check a call that was received at around 8:10 am by that department and lasted 13mins7secs. This shouldnt happen to your clients when theyre feeling vulnerable, which I assume is all the time since this is a health care center. Please be better.

My contracted time at CSHC was valuable and will be memorable. I’m proud that I was chosen as one of the nurses to provide resources towards maintaining health and well being during this unprecedented national crisis called Covid 19.

Workers were accurate and friendly and to be honest they were fully knowledgeable about what they’re doing.

We needed to be tested for Covid19. The people at Codman were so nice, professional and helpful. They walked us through how to do it and were so awesome with the children. The place was clean and had sanitizer and extra masks everywhere. Results in 24 hours. Our own health care provider wanted us to be sick and surrounded by a zombie horde of COVID patients before they would test us. Go Codman!!!!

Went to urgent care and my insurance wasn’t working. Instead of declining me service, they sent me to the insurance department to help work things out. Thankfully, it was an issue with my insurance company and things were quickly resolved. :-)Urgent care is very busy as expected, but my PCP followed up afterwards and was so thoughtful! I love this it is so cool how you can see all your history results and you can make your appointments at anytime and you can see when your next appointments is due and your blood work and etc. and get your prescription at any time I think this is absolutely 💯.this is the best health care clinic everything in one place one stop the best.

My walk in Urgent care started of rocky, no one at desk to sign me in, I waited for about 15 minutes, went back to the front desk to see if I was supposed to sign in at the front. I wasn’t but the kind lady at the front got me all set, and from there ALL the staff I encountered were very nice and accommodating.

The staff were very friendly and the process to get tested for COVID-19 was nicely organized and quick. Thank you staff members! Happy holidays!

He told me what to do, then offered me a seat. a few minutes later a young lady called me and nicely told what was next. Though this place is a high volume traffic area, the staff are efficient at seeing to each and every patient that walk through their doors. Make sure you know what you’re coming in, by the way.

My experience is with my dentist Dr. S.W she is the most sweetest woman you can ever meet. She ensures the comfort of her patients and make sure to explain step by step on what she is or going to do with your teeth.My filling fell out a while ago but I remember when getting it done elsewhere and I felt everything they was doing ( will not mention their place of business). Not with Dr. Saunders-Williamson (Dr. S.W.). Put it like this I didnt even know she was done with my filling because I felt absolutely nothing and I hope she never leaves.

Marlene answered the phone when I called to make my first appointment for a Covid19 test. She was engaging, professional, and attentive to details. The Boston House testing site was easy to locate. The staff on that Thursday was kind and competent. The website is user friendly and the options for phone and email updates are excellent. Go there!

We had to get Covid tests for travel. When I called about the test, the person on the phone was professional, helpful and friendly, and when we arrived for the test at the outdoor clinic, they were as well. They made the test easy, and the results came back within just a few days. Nice people!

They are always trying new ways to expand their services and raise funds to provide affordable and free services with respect and kindness to patients.

Professional service and excellent treatment. I recently went to Codman Square Health Center for my COVID-19 testing. Everything was well organized. Three booths - Each assigned a specific task. First check-in, second, nurses asking you typical questions about recent exposure, and third, the sample submission. The whole process was done in less than 15 minutes.The place was huge so social distancing was also maintained. Employees were nice and eager to answer any questions I had. I received a report of my RT-PCR in less than 48 hours as opposed to what they said about 72-60 hours timeline.If youre getting tested for COVID-19, I strongly recommend you choose Codman Square.

My last visit was pleasant and quick. I was in and out in an hour and that was good timing for me. Past visits took over 1 hour to be seen by the doctor. You make an appointment for afternoon/evening hours but they dont tell you that theres an additional fee you have to pay for late/out of normal hour appointments. Like whats the point of being open late to accommodate all persons of the community but charge fees for certain things.Anyway, my experience with the urgent Care staff was pleasant. They were very professional and considerate; Most helpful and friendly in my opinion. They kept checking in on me, brought me water, etc. The NP I met with was also light and friendly.

I had some immunization vaccines done here. I will finish my record retrieval.
