Praise and gratitude best describes our feelings for and about Doctor Planchard and his staff who’ve cared for our eyes, my wife and I,for over thirty seven years now. The care and attention has been exemplary - cataract surgeries,routine examinations as well as a few emergencies. Shreveport is so fortunate to have the services available of such an outstanding,incredible Ophthalmologist.

All of my questions were answered in detail. The staff was outstanding.The staff starting with the receptionist to every member of Dr.Planchards staff including him.I had tests performed on my eyes that Ive never had before. All of my existing conditions were explained to me and what caused them.The new condition with my eyes was thoroughly examined and explained.They have earned my confidence.Thank you to Dr.Planchard and his staff.

I have used both Dr Planchards for years. They are very good at what they do. My only complaint is how long the wait takes. (Both the waiting room and once you’re in a room). Other than that I highly recommend.

My experience was GREAT! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I was not given a reminder call, twice, about my appointment. The doctor and staff are VERY friendly and the atmosphere is fine. I would definitely recommend people to see Dr. Planchard.

I returned to see Dr. Planchard to check my eyes for cataracts. I was given a very thorough exam and found I did have them. I was able to schedule surgery right away. The staff was friendly and professional.Dr Planchard had performed LASIK Monovision surgery 13 years ago that was very successful. I completely trust him with my precious eye site.

After a sad and painful experience in the emergency room, Dr Planchard , who has always given excellent care both in surgery and out, knew just what to do to ease the pain, heal the abrasion and keep me informed on the healing progress. No eye exam should ever take 3 full hours. It is demeaning to not consider the patience time as being as important as the doctor. I realize having eyes dialated is a process but surely not 1 1/2 hoursA colostomy would be more efficiently performed.I will be in search of another dr for annual plaquenil test..
