I can’t say enough good things about Cornerstone. The staff has been so good and kind to my Dad and to our family when visiting. The Doctors and therapists worked together to provide the best care program for healing and recovery. The nurses and workers have been great tending to his every need. They are very personable with him and family. My Dad loves them all !We are so appreciative to them for loving on him in his recovery. He was not able to walk or get out of bed on his own so he was dependent upon others. They were always checking on him and responded quickly when called. Highly recommend Cornerstone.

Knowing people who work here and having had family here before... I can truly say this is a great place. They take great care of their patients... growing attached to a lot of them. It is so reassuring knowing that there is a place that will take care of your loved ones like they are one of their own.

My aunt was in this hospital recently and I can’t say enough great things about the care she received here. The staff was amazing to her and to our family . When our family was deciding on a facility for my aunt we werent sure where to go, but we are SO THANKFUL to choose Cornerstone. Day 1 our concerns were put at ease and the entire 3 weeks stay, my aunt said every single staff member was amazing. If we ever need this care again, we know we will choose Cornerstone.

Cornerstone has the best staff in Shreveport/ Bossier. I’m very grateful to have this site as our clinical rotation site. They were helpful in teaching us the essential steps to become a successful nurse. I absolutely LOVE it!!

He had a birthday while there and the staff came and sang to him.They made him feel very special. Jarrett and his PT staff did wonders for him. Im very disturbed by how some of your staff members treat patients that are unable to defend themselves(my aunt). When you take your loved ones to a rehab facility or a hospital you expect to be treated with RESPECT! Your staff members are in the Healthcare profession, and to me and my family that means YOU CARE about people PERIOD!!! Clearly someone on your staff feels the opposite! You have crossed the line when you purposely put your hands on someone to injure them. When you have other staff members that covers for an employee that is causing harm to patients, they are just as guilty as the person that did it. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING!! No one goes to a hospital to be abused. If your employees see another employee mistreating a patient they should say something or do something. Im sure that channel 12 News would love more details. GOD does not play when it comes to His children. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING!!!!!!

Cornerstone Specialty Hospital Bossier City is a great facility. I had the best clinical experience there. I really learned a lot and the staff is so great!!!!

Both of my grandmothers have been here. The care was excellent. Great and caring staff.

My uncle need extensive medical care for an unfortunate disease. He was cared for by his doctors, nurses, therapist and techs with such compassion. The case management team also assisted the family with obstacles to his care and discharge.

I’ve had multiple family members at Cornerstone over several years and the care has always been excellent. The staff are knowledgeable and caring and the physicians are the best; we felt like family. If we had any issues we let them know about it and they were able to resolve it. I would definitely recommend Cornerstone Hospital.

My mother and father were both patients here, each for 30 days. They both had a great experience and were treated like family. The Doctors they each had were excellent. The staff was very professional and caring. I would recommend this hospital to anyone needing an LTACH.I also have been employed here for 30 years and its like working with family.

We had a family member at this facility, and the issues witnessed by family and other visitors were beyond disturbing. Thankfully, we found an alternate facility before things got any worse.The room started out clean, but after a few days, it was dirty, unsanitary, and had an odor. Most of the nursing staff was uncooperative, inattentive, and rude. They often complained of being short staffed and over tired. From My observations, I do believe them! They were regularly found at the nurses station having personal conversations, and often unresponsive to nurse call button. The doctors are seldom available to discuss patient care and we often had no clue where we were in treatment. It was frustrating for our family. The neglect and behavior of this staff was unprofessional and beyond concerning. If you are considering this facility, you may want to reconsider. There are better options out there.Update: My dad is finally on the road to recovery. There were many setbacks caused by their negligence and lack of care. Getting him moved from there and getting him the right care saved his life. Everything they did was contributing to his decline. We have had numerous doctorsFrom other facilities to say the same thing. My objective is to make people aware of this situation in hopes of preventing other families from going through this. If you are considering this facility, please do your homework. Research and read other reviews. If your family member is elderly, and you use this facility, hire a sitter if you cannot be there.

My wife was admitted to this facility following a severe neurological injury related to diabetes. I have to admit, I was very concerned when we arrived as the facilities look like they could use a refresh or a coat of paint here and there. We just moved from Dallas and my wife was most recently in the care of UT-Southwestern, a gleaming, cutting-edge gem of a hospital at the top tier of Dallas area facilities.After the first night of care, I quickly realized that this place was absolutely on top of everything from room attendants to doctors. As an example on one occasion the attendants that change beds noticed something of concern, and alerted nurses and basically all hands on deck were attending to my wife and they immediately had a blood draw and a quick turnaround lab test done to ascertain the issue.Never really had to ask or plead for anyone to attend to an issue or administer care when it appeared she might need attention. The staff was either already on schedule with medications or procedures on nearly all occasions.Staff always responded quickly to call button in a friendly manner.On all levels, always friendly down-home staff. One thing my wife really loved was that the doctors and staff worked on a predictable schedule, I mean you never had to wait all day for a doctor, he visited at the same time every day.The bottom line was that when my wife entered this facility she could barely speak and could not feed herself. When she left she was fully conversing and feeding herself, and her mobility went from wheelchair to walker to cane very quickly.And, her parents loved the food at the cafeteria, and I agree!

The care was exceptional and everyone took time to make me feel important. I loved all of the people and Diedra was very kind and professional.

Staff was attentive to my needs. Food was good. Hot food served hot, and cold food served cold. Call light was answered in a timely manner.

There are employees at this facility that are considerate and I applaud them in taking pride in their position. However, there are employees that are only there for a check. My mother did not receive the best care that she should have while at this facility. I thank God my familys prayers were answered because some of the staff here truly lack compassion.

My mother is there and today when I simply asked her nurse I believe Audrey or Aubrey was her name, I simply asked about my mother because I just drove in from Texas, and wanted to know a few things, when I went to talk to her she was very rude and had a very unprofessional attitude, made our family feel very uncomfortable, I had to stand there in my moms room and hold her bag that had urine in it because I could not get anyone to help us!!!! And no one ever came we had to figure out somewhere to hang it !!!

Terrible place. While there are a few that are good, most are not. My grandmother fell out of her bed because they forgot to put her railing up. The bed had an alarm but she was already in the floor by the time someone came. The fall resulted in a fractured humorous, fractured neck, and a large bruise and laceration on her head. For two days she sat there before they transported her to the hospital. When she arrived at the hospital even more concerning things were found that I will not go into. A gentleman across the hall told me they tested there response time of the bed alarm and purposely set it off. After 4 minutes no one came so they turned it off themselves. This place is terrible and should not even be in business!

Excellent experience ! Outstanding care and concern. Call bell was answered in a timely manner. Busy place but that had no impact on quality of care. From the kitchen to building maintenance everyone had a mission and that was patient care. The pt. Always came first and attended to immediately. The facility was clean and easy to navigate. Procedures were always explained before treatment making sure everything was understood. Overall the entire stay was the best care anywhere. I think the size has so much to do with comfort. Larger facilities give you the feeling of being a number. Here I felt part of a family. I understand some of the employees have been there for over 30 years with the majority being 10-15-20 years. That says something. You dont see that anymore. They are doing something right to be able to keep people working for the same place that long. They actually let me bring my little dogs in to visit with Momma. Of course they have some rules ,but its a proven fact that pets help with the healing process. I think that approach is wonderful and we will see it more in the future. Our overall experience very pleasureable. If it had to be done again. This is where we would want to be. Thank you all so much for your concern and caring.

My family member was here during a very difficult illness. The physicians and staff cared for him well.

So far I’m not impressed. My mother in law is there for rehab after a pacemaker placement. I had a Nurse Friend stop in to see her as he works inside Cornerstone, on his day off. She was promised all kinds of Therapy & a wheelchair was brought in to get her out of bed, but NOONE came back after the initial meeting. He inquired & more assurances given.My wife AI are in Memphis at St. Jude’s with our 17 year old daughter fighting cancer. I drove home last night to go check on her care. I will update this after I go see her today.

The staff is fantastic!!

Worse hospital Ive ever been to. Rude nasty and dont treat their patients with care. And dont answer the nurses call at all and just hang up before youre done talking. Nasty rude trashy hospital.
