This facility is a reasonable value for the money. Its mainly clean and maintained. The staff are very professional and helpful. Members are courteous and adhere to the recent updated indoor mask wearing policy. There are a few strange individuals working put here that unfortunately give this place an average rating.

Roaches in the bathroom. Dirty facility. All of them in this area are disgusting. Youd think covid would have them cleaning but... Literally a roach was in the shower.

I know all Planet Fitness locations have the same equipment. That’s fine when they are not too busy. This location is VERY busy, so if you want to strength train, chances are you are going to spend half your time waiting on equipment to become available. The weight area is small. They do this so they can cram 50 treadmills in the building. As a result, the weight area is always crowded. Meanwhile only half of the the treadmills are used at any one time. I also hate that they insist on having only one Fly machine when it’s the most popular piece of equipment. I love the company and what they stand for but I will never understand why their set up.

Nice place to work out. Friendly, plenty of equipment, the hydro massage beds are nice. I know they have plenty more to offer from classes, to tanning, trainers, deep tissue massage chair, etc. My only slight complaint would be the parking spots are a little small for a pick up. Great place altogether though.

Not much to complain about. Staff always been friendly. Wish dumbells went to 100lbs and there were bench press with the flat bar (not on rails).

Have been visiting family on Shreveport and this Planet Fitness has been one of the nicest I have been too. Clean workout stations and the bathrooms are pretty well kept. Could use a few fixes but overall a great experience!

Friendly staff, icky bathrooms/ showers. I travel full time and have been to about 50 different planet fitness locations in the u.s. this one was pretty gross.

I purchased a monthly membership for my daughter almost 2 years ago. I live out of State and made that clear when we signed up. It was only supposed to be for a year. When COVID began, I asked to pause her membership. The last time she entered the gym was March of 2000. I called to cancel in Sept and was told I needed to cancel in person. I explained that I live in Washington and was told I could mail a letter but my daughter, whose account it is was not allowed to bring one. I mailed 3 separate letters, called multiple times, was treated poorly and still charged in the meantime. I asked for a fax number and an email and was told they had neither. I was even charged an annual fee while my daughter has not been there and I was told we would be refunded when I called the 6th time. Im currently in town on a short visit and had to physically go up to the location and cancel and was refused a refund for all of the fees. During this terrible economic time, they have basically stolen hard earned money that I needed to feed my family. Poor experience. They dont care about the people they serve.

I have been trapped by the snow for six days and no truckstops had running water and I called planet fitness “this location” and the manager Lisa told me to come right over and there would be no charge for a shower. I arrived at the location and Lisa was nowhere around but she had already communicated with her coworker at the front counter and he immediately showed me the showers. How amazingly considerate

This is a good PF, as in my other reviews, cleanliness and staff attitude is more important to me than how many pieces of equipment are in the place. This PF is very clean and the entire two hours I was there Jacob was cleaning as was Omaar. There is plenty of room for stretching and yoga before or after your workout in the stretching area which is not always the case. The only negative thing I had was the shower curtains were too narrow for the opening which let a cold draft in while showering! LOLUpdate: Returned to this Planet Fitness to find that is still a great place to workout! Cameron does a first rate job keeping the place clean & hire staff with gray personalities instead of the usual, on my phone you’re bothering people usually behind PF counters. Caitlin & Nicole are a hoot!!! Smiling & laughing while being very efficient at their jobs. Can’t go wrong here!

Clean and updated machines. While this is not my home gym, I have a black card so I can visit any Planet Fitness locations. I really like this location and glad that it is near my parents home. I will be back.

The massage tables were great

The employee started spraying cleaning chemicals from a backpack machine while everyone was working out. It irritated my respiratory system and I dont think its professional at all. I could have at least received a warning. I will be asking the manager if this is protocol or not, because its ridiculous. No one wants to breathe in toxic chemicals of have them float into your eyes.

Why it takes so many people behind the counter becomes apparent when you need any sort of assistance. The employee caitlin was very rude to the other employees as well as the customers. Those location used to be well managed with polite employees, idk what happened!

Place is very clean, machines are plentiful, people generally leave you alone, only thing I would change is the placement of the bench press machines and swap it out with the olypticals and have the free weights by the bench machines.

Cameron is unprofessional and became defensive over the phone when I was confused about details of my membership. I was upset and I felt he was passive aggressive instead of trying to be helpful. I would recommend training employees to keep their professionalism as they are representing the company and not themselves when they are at work. I wished I would have had a better experience.

The showers were the most disappointing part. Everything else was fine and pretty clean as most locations are. The showers however do not provide much coverage at all while in the shower, the curtains dont cover the whole entryway. They also do not provide any kind of soap or product in the showers.

I have been a Member of Planet Fitness for years, started out at the Bert Kouns location and once bossier opened planet Fitness I started going to this location, I have never had any problems with staff or anyone there for that matter.I go at night sometimes and I must say Karl Pearce is Totally Awesome!! He always greets me and greets me by Ms. Reed. He is so professional and goes past and beyond for me, and for the members . He truly deserves the recognition because he performs his job 100% with a smile and a very good attitude and cares about the customers ( members) and cares very much about his job and his duties.Planet Fitness you have a very good employee and one that cares about the members and making sure that our experience is always a good one when coming into the gym! Ive been coming to the Planet Fitness on Benton for almost six months, and every visit has been pretty great. Even when I come in at 9 to 10 PM, the staff is very welcoming. Just today, Karl one of the night staff was nice enough to help my friend after I explained having some lower back pain that Ive been experiencing. He gave her and I tokens to try out the deep tissue massage chairs. Safe to say Ill be upgrading to the premium membership because of this!

The night crew is friendly and gives great advice on how to use equipment properly.

This staff really does care about the people coming in. Ive been treated with nothing but respect at planet fitness. Good starting gym.

DONT JOIN THIS GYM!!!! I would suggest Fit Nation....1701 Old Minden Rd # 14A, Bossier City, LA 71111 is a better gym to join.... The General Manager should be fired.... Professionalism and trying to assist someone goes a long way. There is no chain of command. No one could rectify my situation. Would of been nice to be able to talk to corporate or the owners. Better to join a gym where you can actually speak to someone. There 800 numbers just direct you back to them. FIT NATION or ANYTIME FITNESS IS 1,000 TIMES BETTER!!!!!!

The place looked well keep and the person we talked to was friendly and knowledgeable. The advertising for the price was deceiving for a no contact price they wanted a yearly fee in addition to the monthly fee that could only be paid thru a checking account autodraft they also have a cancellation fee. Almost did it but then found out that the person that could show us the equipment & help us make a plan is only available when we are at work - deal breaker for us. Might be a great place if you know what youre doing. Hope you have a better experience.

A staff member Frank was extremely rude and aggressive, I was extremely disappointed with how some staff members speak to customers. But manager did try to make the situation better but Frank is still displaying horrible customer service. Facility is nice and most staff really care just a few bad apples that made for a really bad experience. Still unexceptionable to be treated so poorly on multiple occasions as a paying customer.

I have enjoyed planet fittness. The openness and roomy atmosphere is refreshing. It is clean. Nice place.

Havent had running water in going on 2 yrs so I shower here. I had a pinched nerve back in July when I was homeless and the hyrochairs are so relaxing. Only thing I dont particularly like is that the showers only have skimpy curtains, too short for privacy.

I have been working out at the Bossier Planet Fitness since September and I must say my experience has been great. I have also experienced a few of the other PF’s around the area, as well as Dallas and Lafayette, and I like Bossier the best. All of the people have been helpful. I even enjoy having a trainer available for a quick question when I need it. The price is great also. For full access the price is half of other places I look at. Hope that helps someone.

Okay so typically I don’t giving bad reviews. But this one is most defiantly needed. I’m not sure the young guys name who helped me out tonight at this location. But him and the older lady weren’t very welcoming at all. When I asked to tan for 5 minutes in the standup I was put in room 8 which was no problem. I get myself ready to tan meaning undressing and putting lotion on. As soon as I got ready to tan the bed wouldn’t come on. No big deal I understand sometimes things like this happen. So I call the front desk from my room to let them know I need help. He told me just a second he was fixing it. Long story short he left me on hold for 9:00 Minutes just waiting. He never picked the phone up at all to even Suggest moving me to a different room that works. So at this point I’m cold and frustrated. So I get dressed and go to leave. As I’m leaving I noticed him signing new people up after he had me waiting in the room ready to tan for 9 minutes. The really sad part is neither him or the older lady even acknowledge me leaving. This is truly the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I started using this location because it’s closer to my house. But after this experience I rather suck it up and drive to one of the other locations.

Great place to work out

Very large gym! It has all the equipment 👌🏻 Ladies locker room however was a total miss! It was messy and dirty. The shower curtains were all in various stages of disrepair and did not provide privacy. Water temps in shower was luke warm at best.

I’ve been going to the planet fitness on Benton road I really love it I usually come in at night everyone is always welcoming. Every time I’m at the gym I have a big smile on my face even if I’m not that motivated I always feel good coming in and out of the gym. Thanks Karl with a K for keep up my spirits.

Its a great gym. Exercise is fun here with all the t.v s to watch and good music to listen to. The extra amenities include tanning massage tables, and a cooler of drinks.

The manager Cameron is the absolutely rudest person I have ever came across. I have been to plenty of gyms, and have never experience dealing with someone like him. I am not sure how he ended up with this position, but clearly he need some customer service classes. However, Nick and the other people are really nice.

With a packed gym sometimes I always find myself never waiting on a machine for too long, everyone pretty much are mindful & cool enough for you to have a nice wellness experience

I froze my account because I had surgery. They still took the money out. I called my club and they said they would refund me. I still have not gotten my refund. I have called corporate and no one still called me. Very disappointed. I will probably be canceling my membership

Great clean gym that deserves 5 stars but management brought down their points this time. This is the only Planet Fitness I have been to where management (some kid named Cameron) gets some kind of weird enjoyment out of using the gyms air raid siren to embarrass members if they don’t set weights down absolutely silently......I get that management wants members to take care or equipment but let’s be real about this subject, it is a gym after all and metal on metal weights are going to make some noise when coming into contact with each other.Anyhow, this kid manager named Cameron, approached me after going ham on the air raid siren, hitting it about 10 times in a row, and very indiscreetly told me to stop slamming weights. He was so indiscreet about it that two other members turned around to see what was going on.I told him I wasn’t slamming weights and didn’t know what he was talking about and that’s when one of the members that turned around spoke up and said that he was actually the one slamming weights, not me. Cameron, the manager, didn’t so much as turn around to look at me again, let alone say he was sorry......he simply walked away after embarrassing me even though he was told that I wasn’t slamming weights by the other nearby member.

I joined planet fitness because of the whole No membership commitment and cancel anytime but what they dont tell you is if you are in your first year you have to buyout your membership. So the whole No membership commitment is a bunch of bogus. They are just like any other fitness center which is disappointing. I only gave 2 stars because of the clean and well maintained facility.

Best deal in SBC on gym memberships. machines galore, big screen TVs, customer perks, tanning, infrared total body enhancement, massage beds, massage chairs; need I say more!
