Went to daymark for a few years in the past for therapy, the experience was unhelpful at best and uncomfortable at its worst, i do not recommend.

Dont listen to the negative reviews. Ive been going to Daymark since March 2015 and they have been wonderful. They are great at what they do. They have worked with me and got me the appropriate medication. I have a wonderful therapist there, shes incredible, I couldnt imagine talking to anyone else. These people really care and put everything they have into helping people. As long as youre willing and show up they will help you.

This place changed my life and I have met with the most amazing therapists and group of people that want to help me get better. They are all amazing and kind people.

They treated me as an impersonal client rather than a person and were unclear with their policies—including with their own doctors. They failed to communicate that they no longer worked with a doctor of mine and seemed to blame this lack of knowledge on me as the patient. They also booked me for an appointment with an employee who was not in the office that day. Glad to be done working with them and thankful for primary care physicians.

Any Daymark health services are absurd and the staff are probably the real abusers. Making a living from people’s misery. Good job! You’ve made everyone’s life’s harder! Not to mention wasting our precious time.

I have been going to Daymark for 3 years now. I have had DBT group therapy, depression and anxiety group therapy, I have seen a psychiatrist, and a nurse practitioner. It has all been very helpful. I was diagnosed with major depression and general anxiety. Daymark has helped me to get my life back. I came from a very dark place. I was hospitalized at one point. Daymark can help with so many issues, including addiction. Oh yes, I also recommend their hotline. I have used it a few times when I did not know if I would make it through the night. I would highly recommend Daymark.

This is the worst place you can go for help. I just got out of a abusive relationship i had allready been diganosed with p. t. s. d i saw a nurse for six months never saw the doctor was tried on ton of antidepresents the would not give me anything for my anxiety or the awful nightmares i was having i found a private place they are not involved with and am doing a whole lot better. Please think twice before going here.

Psychiatrist kept upping my dose even though I told her repeatedly it was making my symptoms worse. Ended up almost getting hospitalized thanks to these people. Unfortunately there are not many psychiatrists in Boone, but at this point I am willing to pay out of pocket to avoid going here. Doesnt help that you are required to do group therapy in order to get medicine. Insane. For your own health, please dont go here.

Been going here for ad long as they have been open.... Most of the people are wonderful and i love them!

All I wanted was to have a psychiatrist to monitor my medication. It has been over a month and I have still not even had an appointment with a psychiatrist. Instead Ive been sent to unnecessary group therapy and had countless appointments rescheduled because of an incompetent computer system. If you are a student at Appalachian State looking for psychiatric help do. not. go. here.

By far the worst place to go for any mental health problems one might have. They dont care about the patients, the people up front are rude and inconsiderate. If something comes up and you need help or having issues with new meds, they say call and they will help. Welk you call and 4 days later they will help you. Worst place ever

They might help some family but some they dont

Ive been going to Day mark for almost five years....and Im on antidepressants and other meds including my antipsychotic. They have me attending unnecessary group therapy, which causes anxiety. And if I cannot make it they hold my medication over my head. Which is completely wrong.
