I dont have much support and really thought I would get what I needed here, but left feeling even more isolated. I think they mean well but I just wish they hadnt pressured me, and I wish my own feelings were taken more seriously. I was not in the right place for being treated this way. Im so bummed. Wish we had a better place to go for pregnancy support in this town.

The Hope Center is a place of compassion, hope, support and caring. As a physician asisstant, I am so grateful to have a place in our community where I can refer patients who are experiencing unplanned pregnancy, and know that they will be treated with respect, honesty and without judgement.

THIS IS NOT AN ABORTION CLINIC AND THEY DO NOT PROVIDE FACTUAL INFORMATION ABOUT ABORTIONS. despite their misleading ads that they tell you about the abortion pill and abortion costs they in fact solely exist to convince people not to have an abortion. that was my girlfriends experience and many of my friends. They lie to people during a really vulnerable and sometimes scary time, this shouldnt be legal.

Amazing experience! The sweetest people, very caring, and so helpful. They give lots on information and make sure that all of your questions are answered! Even gave my husband an awesome book for becoming a new dad. Very thoughtful throughout the whole process, even messaged me a few weeks after to ask how I was feeling!!

Ugh. Only good if you know you want to carry your pregnancy. If you have any doubts, this is the WORST place to go. They don’t actually tell you the truth about your options, and refuse to offer any referrals for unbiased information on abortion. Wish I’d known, I should’ve just come straight to planned parenthood.

What an amazing place! Ive had friends work here and friends that have used their services and their experiences there tell the whole story. They do an amazing job of walking women (and men) through their options. The staff really is incredible.

One of my friends was seen at the hope pregnancy center and the people there gave her the information she needed to make a huge choice in her life. They gave her the support, encouragement, and resources she needed. Thank you so much hope pregnancy center!

This place is a nightmare if you are considering abortion at all, or just want real information. my friend had the worst experience, just trying to understand all her options, they shamed her so badly, she ran out crying. save yourself the emotional energy and go to planned parenthood instead.

I wish so badly that we had an actual reproductive health clinic in Boone. That this is all we have is so challenging, with all of the students we have here in need of real reproductive and abortion care. I am need of actual support right now in making a decision about my pregnancy, and when I called I realized that while they call themselves a pregnancy center, they really are just a front for a Christian organization that is trying to convince people to carry their pregnancies to term. Maybe they help people who already know that thats what they want, but I think they should stop saying they offer options, and just be honest about it. For real options and actual healthcare, I guess I have to go off the mountain.

I had a terrible experience here. This clinic pretends to talk you through your options, but really they just want you to not get an abortion. They lie and tell you to take your time and dont give you honest information about how to access an abortion if you need one, they just shame you by giving you ultrasounds and telling you to go with adoption. If you know you want to do adoption, then go here. But you want real honest information about your options, go to a REAL clinic, though sadly I think the closest ones are in Charlotte and Raleigh, but its worth it!

I really dont understand all the good reviews here. Ive only heard terrible things from my friends, and my own experience there last year was awful. They dont offer any real medical advice, they just want to support you into keeping our pregnancy. I wish I would have avoided this place altogether and gone right to an actual womens center, because going here made me feel very confused about whether I could get an abortion, where I could go, etc., and they made me feel ashamed that I was even considering it. Im grateful I eventually went to Planned Parenthood in Asheville, because getting an abortion was the right decision for me, and they gave me the information and support I actually needed. I just wish other women in Boone knew that they could do that too, and that they dont have to be guilted into keeping their pregnancy because of what this place tells you.
