Very pleased with both my doctors. Dr. Williams and Dr Lipscomb. My frames were nice but have not received my glasses yet, but expect them to be correct

This was only my second time to an eye doctor in my 39 years, and I just moved to Boone. The experience was delightful. The staff and clinicians exhibited confidence and friendliness. Dr. Lipscomb explained his recommendation and patiently answered my questions. The technician was efficient, friendly and experienced as he conducted my exam.

This was our first experience with Graystone. From the receptionist to the Dr, every person we encountered was courteous, helpful and informative. They know what they are doing and excel at doing it. We have found our new provider.. yea!

Dr. Lipscomb is very professional, knowledgeable and patient. He did my second cataract surgery and it was a world better than the doctor who did my first. The Graystone staff is also professional, courteous and knowledgeable including the optical shop. I highly recommend this practice and office (Boone).

Vision staff in Boone fantastic. But this review is on the insurance staff. I was treated very unprofessional and rudely by the staff and they are unwilling to help file insurance that I’m entitled to. My family will be looking for new provider.

Fast, efficient and professional caring service

They do provide good care, but honestly Im about to stop using them because of the ridiculous phone tree one must negotiate in order to make an appointment or deal with anybody. I use the Boone location. All calls are routed through Hickory. The wait times are extensive. A quick, easily answered question becomes a twenty-minute ordeal that I simply dont have time for. Also, their contact and eyeglass fittings are not done by an optometrist but by technicians. I like the place. I feel they do good work--but they seem to have grown to big for their patients.

Was Very Pleased To Have Dr Adair From Graystone Eye Do The Cataract Surgery On My Left Eye, I Am Now Anxious For Him To Do My Right Eye !

Unexpectedly I was in need of an eye specialist and called Graystone Eye. They got me in the same day with Dr. Peter Lipscomb. He and the staff were excellent. No fuss, right to it and very professional and thorough. He explained the problem, discussed my concerns and sent me for additional testing due to a more challenging problem. One of the best eye dr. experiences I have ever had. Highly recommend!

My son was told he needed surgery to correct his eyes and they told my wife that we would hear from them in 2 weeks and now it’s been a month and we still haven’t heard anything from them and it impossible to get anyone on the phone and if you leave a message nobody ever call’s back

Easy and fast

I had an issue and was seen by Dr. Allen the next morning. The office staff was efficient, friendly and prompt and I was seen by the Dr. right at my appointment time. He spent plenty of time with me and explained thoroughly my condition to me. I was extremely pleased with my entire experience and would highly recommend this office!

I recently had a piece of debris get stuck under my eyelid on a Sunday afternoon. After a lot of pain and annoyance, Graystone was able to squeeze me in on a Monday morning, despite not having an appointment, and Dr. Allen provided friendly and helpful service in treating my eye.I would definitely recommend them.

In the past 3 yrs I have had cataract surgery in both eyes. So glad I did it. I can see so clearly now. Dr. Allen did one eye and Dr. Lipscome did the other, both are great.

I am going for eyebrow microblading and eyeliner.You could not ask for a better person to do this than Carrie. She is so nice, thorough, andknowledgeable.From the first contact with the schedule desk to completion of the procedure, it was seamless.

I started going here after we relocated in November 2017. After seeing another eye specialist for over 3 years no one could help me with my continued health problems with my eyes except give me the same drops and tell me to come back in 2 months. I had been having double vision for over 2 year before moving. Me and my husband heard good things about Graystone Eye and called and made appointments with Dr. Allen. In a year he has helped me so much. I now see normal wearing my glasses because he told me about an invisible prism available to go in my new glasses. The other Practice I saw never recommended this. He also just did Cataract Surgery on my husband this Summer and my husband sees 20/15 now. I highly recommend this Practice.

A previous review I allegedly sent was a gross error on someones part or else a forgery!I have no recollection of sending a review and am reserving final judgment until my course of treatment is complete.After only one visit I must say that this is a top notch facility and the staff is highly efficient and proficient. I had one conversation with them and they were down right rude. Told me I had to have 2 separate! appointments to have my contact prescription and glasses prescription instead of just doing it at the same time. They couldnt get me an appointment until 2 months now. They basically forced me into a contacts appointment even though I dont wear them that often and said I only wanted a glasses prescription. They lady I spoke with was very rude and called me at 8 am and was confused as to why I didnt answer and was annoyed that I didnt answer.I do not recommend this place, all I have heard have been terrible reviews but I thought I would give them a chance. They proved my friends right, they have no customer service at all DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

The wait time is always unrealistic! Over two hours after a scheduled appointment to see a doctor. Seriously? Second time here and second time being unorganized. Why schedule appointments? When inquiring, you’re told, sorry but sometimes it happens. That’s not customer service, that’s waiting to bill the insurance company!

The doctors are very good but the customer service is such a hassle. Trying to order contacts usually takes 4-6 phone calls because they rarely answer the phone and you have to leave a message, then you play phone tag with them for a day or two. Finally I just got my prescription from them and started ordering my contacts from Blue Ridge Vision, where everyone is very helpful and efficient. I stuck with Greystone for eye exams though because I wanted to see an opthamologist rather than optometrist, but now Im done with them entirely. I have always found the Greystone receptionists to be brusque and when I called just now to reschedule an appointment the person I talked to was condescending and rude. Ill just be doing everything at Blue Ridge Vision from now on where they really care about me and my eyes.

I went to the Boone office in February 2017. A year later, I am still annoyed when seeing the Greystone name. The doctor who examined the interior of my eye was cold and rude. I will go elsewhere next time.

After reading some of your reviews, I would have thought you would care more about customer service . The front desk staff look and act like they have been chewing on lemons! Very rude! Donza was so rude, acted like we were imposing for coming to pick up contacts. Does she not realize that without patient she would not have a job!
