Am a new patient... initial impressions mostly positive. friendly staff, knowledgeable dentist and caring assistant. office technology seems current and office location convenient (easy parking). not easy to get appointment.

I had a sleepless weekend due to a toothache. Monday morning I called Bonita Dental. I was told they were booked up that day, but would try to get me in. The girl called back in about ten minutes and said I could go right in. Dr Hedge determined I cracked a molar and sent me to a specialist for a root canal. I returned to Bonita Dental a week later for a crown. They fashioned and attached a temporary crown which they find-tuned until it was perfect. I am scheduled to go back in two weeks for the permanent crown which I am confident will go just as smoothly.

The best dental place I’ve visited. Really friendly and professional staff. The hygienist who did my deep cleaning really seemed to care and explain everything I need to do to take care of my teeth and gums. She was also very patient and understanding as I get nervous with dental work. I really recommend!

In my opinion the hygienist is the most important person because theyre the one that will be in your mouth working around those nerves. I found Donna to be absolutely wonderful .She was warm ;she was very communicative and knowledgeable ,and she was very gentle!

Terrible. My appointment got messed up. They tried to charge me for a cancellation fee last time when I thought I had Covid symptoms. And then I show up for this appointment and while I already had a treatment plan they were going to look at this and tell me what they could do at a later date what a waste of time not to mention they don’t even do good work as they screwed up my last tooth when they pulled it

This is the best dentist you can find. I give them a 10 star. I was having pain in my tooth and went there to make an appt and they actually seen me. They are very patient with you. When it comes to dental work I am a cry baby but they talk to you so that you are calm and relaxed. I recommend this dental office to everyone. The entire staff that I have met have been the best as well.

I came in for an issue with my tooth and left with a list of all the work that I needed and the pricing for it, it was crazy expensive. They didn’t even resolve the issue with my tooth! I spent two hours here to just leave with a list of work that needs to be done? I felt like I was going to a shady mechanic. Very unpleasant experience. 👎🏻👎🏻

Not the same as when Doctor Grey Cunningham owned the dentistry. The place is a bit run down. I was disappointed that even after expressing to my dental hygienist that I have EXTREMELY SENSITIVE teeth- I had to ask for a topical analgesic to be applied to my gums!

It was wonderful. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Practitioners demonstrate an ethos of care. However, when the time came to schedule follow-up treatment staff presented an unusual new policy: Clients are expected to pay a deposit comprised of at least half the next procedures cost. The policy is unethical and a violation of trust.I could die. My dentist could die. The business might file bankruptcy or, worse, experience an act of God that totals the facility. Those unfortunate circumstances predict the permanent loss of my deposit, hundreds or thousands of dollars due to some abstract policy that affords clients zero protection. I shall not pay for services before they are rendered again. The experience left a rotten taste in my mouth.

As someone who is usually terrified of the dentist, I can say that Bonita Family Dental is the best I have found for easing my nerves. Dr. Hegde is the absolute best! So sweet and gentle and made me feel so comfortable. Donna is great too if you are looking for a hygienist that is thorough but very gentle and listens if you have sensitivities! I would recommend Bonita Family Dental and Dr. Hegde 100%!!

Bonita Family Dental provides most excellent service when I broke my tooth recently. They made room in a busy schedule to get me in first thing, quickly diagnosed and recommended the best course of treatment ( after clear explanations and discussions using the latest diagnostics ) and were able to fabricate a new tooth for me that same morning perfectly fit to my mouth and color matched to my teeth. I left a few hours later with a new permanent tooth and my smile restored!

Just expensive to have PPO and I dont like to be sold on things like a mouth guard for $400 when I bought one fr target for $20 so the pricing is outrageous.in addition I got an estimate on how much things would cost then the day of the fillings,after I got the things I needed done, they raised the price and added things I didnt originally sign for. So if a money scheme is what you are looking for this is the place. And they are out of network. I wanted to add that it is not PPO that is expensive it is this particular place that is expensive and rips you off. In addition to my appointments, they charged me for work that was never explained and the receptionist tried to change the original documentation when I told her not to so it looks like I was told on the day. Just received a bill for my daughter TODAY saying we have a new balance of $2000 for work she didnt have done. They are charging us for a line item that says complimentary new patient visit$55. WHAT??? Stop the games ..Dr. Cunningham was better for this office.

It takes quite a bit for me to take the time to write a review and after a year of having gone for treatment at Bonita Family Dental I have to say that Dr. Hegde and all of her staff are top notch! Dr. Hegde is an amazing dentist that has put me at ease regarding all of the dental work that I have been neglecting for years. So much that I have already gone in for two implants and a few crown replacements at a reasonable price. Dr. Hegde and her team have done a great job of helping reduce my anxiety during my treatments as well as accommodating my issues like no childcare in times I’ve had to go in. I appreciate her expertise and her ability to work with my constraints! Overall, I’ve can easily say I have finally found my lifetime dentist! Thank you to Dr. Hegde at Bonita Dental for not only helping to relieve my dental issues but also helping to regain control of my dental care.

Bonita Family Dental Clinic staff were very friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. If one of the staff did not know the answer to your questions particularly billing or insurance, they will go for extra mile to help you to find the answer. On my last visit for cleaning and check-up (overdue due to the pandemic), Donna (Hygienist) took care of me and she did a phenomenal job, very thorough and NO pain! Dr. Hegde saw me for the check-up (I usually see Dr. Cunningham, one of the BEST Dentist I ever known, but he is unavailable) and she review my history and gave me a detailed treatment plan. Also, I would like to mentioned their outstanding Billing Manager, Candy, she will help you navigate your insurance coverage and how much is your co-pay before you commit to a treatment procedures so there will be no surprises! My family went to several dental clinic when we came back in 2004 from overseas assignment and this was our problem - unexpected charges for a simple procedures. In 2006, a fellow Navy friend recommended the Bonita Family Dental Clinic and its been 14 years now. Thank you so much Bonita Family Dental crew! you guys AWESOME!

I have been a patient here for probably the past 20 years and all my visits were alright except for my last one. I went in for a normal cleaning and was also offered to do an invisalign scan which was great because it was something Ive been interested in. After agreeing with the procedure and checking out I was told that if I were to pay in full that day then I would receive $500 off. I thought this was an amazing deal so the receptionist said Id be able to pay with care credit. Weeks later I received a care credit bill for the full amount and not the $500 off that I was promised. I was concerned and called the office. They said it was a miscommunication on the receptionists part and that it would have to be paid out of pocket and not financed to receive that discount. I understand this however Im pretty upset that the initial receptionist did not clarify that it had to be paid out of pocket to receive the discount --she just suggested I apply and pay with care credit. After voicing my concern with the office I was given no sort of remedy to fix the situation. Im pretty upset considering the fact that Ive been a loyal client for so many years. Wish this couldve been resolved. Guess its finally my time to search for a new office. (This review is more for the office and not the dentists)

From start to finish, everyone was so friendly! With COVID-19 safety practices in place, there is an added challenge when it comes to communication and often times, common kindness gestures are lost behind our masks. This was NOT the case at Bonita Family Dental. They greeted me with eye contact (I could even tell they were smiling under their masks ☺️), were very communicative, walked me to my room and walked me out after my appointment. Let me start by saying I have moved from SD over 4 years ago and still prefer to come back to complete my dentistry here. I live overseas now and Stephanie did her very best to accommodate me with an appointment on a whim. Cheyann also was instrumental in ensuring all of my outsourced products were expedited in a timely manner during my short visit to town. Excellent service, staff and customer service.

Went in for a cleaning, staff was very thorough, taking the time to explain all the procedures. She was also very gentle and told me of any concerns she found. ( It did help that I had braces when I was a kid.) I received my first set of liners today and they fit perfectly. My first time at this dental office and my experience was painless, easy and a little fun. My gums and teeth are very sensitive and Jenn the hygienist really took good care of me. I actually can’t wait to come back my teeth feel so clean. I got my exam done by Dr. B and she made me feel really comfortable and answered all my questions.

Super high rates !! Send me a bill a year later after I stopped going to their office. They screw up and charge me for it. They threaten my awesome credit score with collections, highway robbery. My 83 year old dad needed 2 root canals. He had just lost his wife and the funeral was scheduled for 2 days after his root canal appointment. We had no idea what to expect from the procedure, or whether or not he would be in pain for the funeral.I was so surprised when my dad came out within less than 30 minutes, ready to go. It all happened so fast. I think it took us longer to order his antibiotic prescription than get his root canal completed.My dad said the only pain he felt was the injection of the local anesthesia. He said the dentist was very good.The staff at Bonita Family Dental were warm and compassionate, and they were open to answering my questions and ease my concerns.

The staff are very nice and Dr. Hegde the CEO of the company is very accommodating and kind. She did a bone graft procedure on me and it turned out great. I highly recommended her.

This is great place. The staff is friendly. Dr. Hegde is wonderful. After my procedure there was minimal swelling and close to no pain. All they are doing is take people’s money. Try to convince you to do unnecessary procedures. And if you don’t make your appointment they charge you $25 per hour... their equipment is not up to date but they charge as if they were using the state of art equipment. Don’t recommend them at all
