Caring, concerned and helpful staff. Not just in out and youre done. You are treated like you are their favorite client and above all, a friend. I am so happy I found this dermatologist. It is the 3rd one I have been to and what a difference in the procedures, tests and long term plan. Love the staff at Derick Dermatology-Bolingbrook!

What a terrible experience at Derick Dermatology. Initial visits are usually done with very inexperienced PAs and NOT Dermatologists. Those PAs are extremely inexperienced with Drug to Drug interactions and have to Google things to see if its ok for their patients receive an Rx. Due to the inexperience of those PAs they rely on the patients Primary Care Physician to get involved prior to writing and Rx. All of this is happening while me, the patient, is in pain. The process is grueling and calling into their automated system doesnt make it any better. Due to lack of staff, resources, and physicians they rely heavily on their Patient Portal and automated system where patients leave messages and hope for a call back. The simple fix here is go to a different Dermatologist. Make sure you are seeing a Dermatologist and NOT a PA. Make sure that Dermatologist is experienced enough to write a prescription for you without using Google.
