I highly recommend them. I do not like going to doctors at all. Im always nervous, my blood pressure rises I dread going. Believe they call it white coat syndrome 😂😂🤷. But from the second I walked up to the reception desk to leaving I felt welcomed and in good hands. They were amazing. Super helpful and very professional didnt make me nervous or worried in any way. The nurses and the doctor in the back helped me in any way they can and made me feel like they real care about my treatment and me getting better. They made me feel at ease. Iv been to many doctors that would just get me in and out as fast as they can and not very friendly. This experience was complete opposite. Sending a big thankyou to the ladies that took care of me on the night of September 3rd 2021

In my opinion Dr. Schrank is a top notch shoulder specialist and surgeon. He operated on my left shoulder 15 years ago and it’s still going good. He’s conservative in his approach and after exhausting all conservative options you can be confident, because he is an excellent surgeon. He explains your condition to you in understandable terms, and offers options going forward. I recently had surgery on my right shoulder and 4 weeks later started PT. My shoulder feels pretty good and I’m confident I’ll be back to normal after 4-6 weeks of PT. I have recommended about 4 to 5 people to him, including family and all of them feel the same way about him.

This is the third time I am not very happy with this company Did not like how I was originally handled by one doctor so I switched to another and I feel this doctor is actually not wanting me as a patient and just throwing me off to another doctor. I was once a very happy patient there until I’ve heard even the workers complain how doctors treat them. Would not recommend this place at all. My one other doctor did not like what he heard when I told him how I was treated recently.

Dr. Reizner is an outstanding professional with a wonderful bedside manner. He thoroughly explained my condition and made me feel so relaxed during treatment. I will definitely use him again and refer him to family and friends. Also the staff were very friendly and attentive to my needs. Thank you.

Dr. Was great. Surgery went well. Office staff is full of incompetent individuals. Time and time again screwing up my physical therapy and not caring about the repercussions for my health. Called multiple times to get the run around. Telling me workmans Comp was to blame. Got myself a lawyer who then proved all the problems I had were due to their stupidity. If Dr opens his own practice would definitely recommend. As long as he works for Orlin & Cohen will never recommend or use again.

I own my own contracting company and i am an athlete.. I was treated by dr Mallo and I couldn’t be more happy!! He was honest, helpful, informative and a true professional !! I didn’t think I was going to come back from my injury but being treated by him I know I will a full recovery and be back at it in no time!! He is a godsend for me and im humbled with the treatment,understanding and overall respect I received!!!

I was very pleased with Orlin and Cohen. I actually had two appointments at different locations. Both were just as good. I saw Dr. Feder and he is really nice. Explained everything and answered all my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend this group!

I was very pleased with the front office staff, also was happy with the nurse and then the doctor. I saw Dr. Price at Bohemia, but once it came to the point of having to schedule my appt for my MRI the authorization department didn’t follow through with anything. They called me the morning of my MRI saying I was approved, I called the imaging place to give them the code and I was not actually approved for the imaging. I was only approved for the site. I called back, got sent to voicemail said I needed a call back before my appointment at 4pm and didn’t get a call until 2 days later where they left a message giving the code again. They never followed up with the insurance company to do a peer to peer. I called them back got sent to voicemail, told them again I was not approved and they needed to call my insurance company it’s now been 2 weeks with no return call and having to find a new orthopedic to get seen AGAIN. The authorization department is terrible with following through, answering and returning calls. They don’t actually listen to the messages that are being left.

Been seeing Dr. Mallo for a shoulder issue for many years now. A great concern of mine as the condition limits my activities, particularly golf where I am very active.Getting a convenient appointment was easy & check in upon arrival was quick.Dr. Mallo is always thorough, provides good explanations of the issues & quality recommendations.After this last visit to get a relief shot in my shoulder there has been tremendous improvement. Much less discomfort & better pain free movement. Pain free golf swing. Now If he could only improve my golf game.He has my recommendation.

Our initial visit was great! I made a follow up appointment for my daughter and my sons school was closed due to Covid (he has Down syndrome). They would not allow me to bring him in which I understand and did not want to. My daughter is 17 and they would not allow her in without me. I asked if I could sign a release giving them permission to look at her ankle. I have absolutely no one to watch him as my husband passed away. I would not be able to reschedule until after spring break when he goes back to school which is 10 days away. I understand policy but there is absolutely no reason they could not work with me given the circumstances. I was willing to go in and sign an authorization form. I know it can be done as long as I give consent!

Dr. James Germano is excellent. Besides knowing his craft, he is a warm and consummate professional. I was pleasantly surprised. I liked him very much. He recommended NO knee replacement needed when the previous orthopedist insisted that I needed a FULL knee replacement. Well, I am playing golf 2 Xs per week and bowling 2 Xs per week as well! Minimal pain.Thanks goes out to Dr. Germano for his treatment and professional expertise.I know that I can rely on him (for a partial replacement, if needed) should my knee pain return.

Trying to make a long story short, I came here for gel shots for my knee arthritis. I will say this place is pretty organized & Covid safe. The dr & nurse that examined me were great, staff friendly. But once I left and had to go through the insurance approval for the gel shots, which my insurance didn’t pay for all, was a $1300 cost to me which is steep, so I called the dr office to see if there was a different shot I could take (at my appt he said there were several & he would see if he could get my ins to approve best one). They did, but not 100%. So I get transferred to the shot dept when I call, get a vm & explain I want to see if I can get another shot. The girl calls me back & left me a message (I was at work) telling me what I already knew - that I was approved for the shot & I need to contact my insurance to have them release. Did she even listen to my message??? I called back again & have not heard back. It’s been a few months now, and I have not heard anything & still no shot of course so still in pain. I will be following up again, but just frustrating that I have to do this.... Otherwise experience at the office was pretty good.

Almost no wait time which is unheard of at any physicians office. Quick efficient and no medical mumbo jumbo to confuse you. Explanations are in plain English, and Expectations are real world. Doctor Feeder is the best surgeon I could’ve asked for. His bed side manor is great and very calming. The staff at the surgical center was so kind, understanding, helpful and accommodating. This was my second surgery with this doctor, but the first time at this surgical center, if I had to do the first surgery all over again, the biggest thing is change is getting it done at this surgical center instead of the hospital. After a bad fall I was referred to Orlin and CohenI have seen three different Orthopedic Surgeons and pain management for injuries related to my fall. All Drs have given me exceptional care and consideration .

The staff at Orlin & Cohen have worked on my son for the past two years, from simple recovery on the weekend, to injury management with physical therapy, and weve never been anything less than super impressed. There are doctors offices you go to and feel like another cow in the field of cattle, but these guys take the time to listen to what your ailment is and lay out all the options for right now, in the near term future, and ultimately the long term approach to make sure it doesnt happen again. Couldnt recommend a place any more than I do these guys!

The dr was unable to elaborate, of why I am exhibiting pain in my shoulder subsequently viewing the X-ray and MRI. Subjectively, I felt it was a waste of time n money going to this place.

Ive been putting off my foot surgery for years, because I just didnt want to deal with it. I finally decided to have it done and selected Orlin & Cohen for the surgery. From the second I arrived they made me feel like I was the only patient in the unit, from being admitted to the surgical center, to the actual procedure, and ultimately being discharged, it was an amazing experience, and now Im on my way to being fully and completely healed... thank you Dr. Feder and your entire staff! I had both knees replaced by Dr. Germano. Not only is he a superb surgeon but more importantly he takes the time to speak to you and gives you the confidence you need to undergo a complex surgery like that. I also went to the physical therapy they offered in the Bohemia location. What a terrific experience I had there as well. Barbara worked with me primarily and she is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this group and especially Dr. Germano.

I like the doctor, and the PA I saw, but had to wait 1hour 20 minutes to be seen and the they spent less than 10 minutes with me. My time is as important as theirs. I don’t fe3l bad about the time spent with me, that may be all that was necessary, but sitting in the waiting room with over a dozen patients sends a message.

Surprised by the bad reviews so I figured Id chimed in about my experience today.11:15am appointment with Dr ShahCheck in was smooth. It was my first visit, so I took the time to print out all check-in paperwork that was e-mailed to me upon making my appointment and filled it out from the comfort of my home to avoid any aggravation and make my visit more efficient.Mr Shah and his staff all treated me politely and with respect. X-rays and examination all in under 45 minutes from me arriving (understandably each case may vary). I would be happy to recommending them For their courteousness and efficiency.

Dr Shah is very thorough and courteous. And for the most part on time. How many times can you say all three about a dr. He gave me a gel shot and it seems to be helping my knee a bit already

I was hesitant to make an appointment because of the reviews but I needed to see a doctor ASAP and they had availability and took my insurance. The nurse was extremely nice and helpful. I saw Dr. Zaret. He was very nice and answered all my questions. On my way out, the nurse even asked if I needed help to the car since I was on crutches. She addressed me by my first name and that made my experience very personable. Some time has passed since she first saw me and she wasn’t carrying my folder to reference my name.

Dr. Cheryl Daves is wonderful, professional and dedicates time to my concerns. Its always a pleasure to see her. I only wish there were a facility in Suffolk to do the injections instead of the various locations in Nassau. She not my only preferred specialist in OCO. The staff in the Bohemia location are my preferred ones.

I see Dr Faust @ Orlin and Cohen in the Bohemia office. Originally had multi level acdf surgery and continue to see him for other spine issues. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Faust, To anyone with neck and spine issues. He is highly knowledgeable, extremely compassionate and listens to each patient and gives them the time that they need To make sure that all questions are answered and you walk out of the office worry free. It was a tough recovery for my neck surgery with doctor Faust Encourage me to hang in there that it will get better with time and although its taken longer than I expected, I have feeling back and am able to raise my left arm again. I may not have full ROM in my neck, but with the help of Dr Faust, and PA Jennifer, they have both given me assurance in times of need. Chronic back pain and injury to the spine is no joke and I have gone in there in tears... frustrated, ... PA Jennifer and doctor Faust let me know that we will get there one issue at a time ... With so many Orlin and Cohen offices available in Nassau and Suffolk County, with XRAY, MRI , physical therapy, and pain mgmt on site, You are sure to find the right orthopedic surgeon for your needs. Each one has their specialty.

While the Drs here are great, if you have to call them its a 30 min process talking to automated machines. beyond fustrating

Terrible experience would have given zero stars if possible. Doctors were ok but receptionists were useless. Unable to book follow up appointments and were not professional. They could care less if you went to their practice or left for someone else.

Loved the office, staff, and doctor I visited. I found it hard to get a timely physical therapy appointment. Also my doctor was only in my area/office once a week

I was impressed. Doctors nurse was so sweet and pleasant, then Dr. Pallotta spent a lot of time explaining what my painful finger sitn was due to. I received an anti inflammatory injection and it totally cleared up the pain.I felt very well taken care of.

Labor day weekend I tore my meniscus but at the time didn’t know that is what it was. I called many orthopedics offices to get the earliest appointment. When calling the Bohemia office the women said it would be over a week. I explained that I was in so much pain and couldn’t walk on it. The pleasant women said give me your name and number and let me see what I can do. Sure enough she called back and got me in 2 days. Dr keefer was wonderful, explained everything in a language I could understand. Got me MRI same day. Going back for my results Dr. Keefer gave me options and explained each of them. I choose surgery because I was in a lot pain. I want to add that Dr.Keefers PA Kim was wonderful as well. Surgery went great and I would highly recommend the Bohemia office & Dr. Keefer. The staff greeted you with a smile and I have to say that goes a long way with me. Again Thank you Bohemia Office & Dr.Keefer.

Dr Shah performed my shoulder surgery. Everyone told me I would be in terrible pain and the recovery was hard. I did not have anywhere near the pain I was told to expect and ImOver a month ahead in my recovery. I had a torn labrum ,rotator cuff and arthritis. I would recommend Dr Shah in a heartbeat

Orlin and Cohen has been a vital component in my care. I have several injuries from a work related accident. Dr. Daves is amazing. I have recently put in for a cervical spine surgery with a Dr. Faust a cervical spine specialist with Orlin and Cohen. Fingers crossed as he his fixing an issue I have had a previous surgery on. With another cervical spine physician and the outcome we wanted failed. All in all practice is great. Have patience with phone support. As its alot of back and forth with voicemails.

I almost didnt make an appointment based on the reviews but I did because it was so close to work.You can access your records online which is a huge plus.Had a 1:30 appointment and was called in at 1:45. They worked quick to get x-rays done and I saw the doctor pretty quickly afterwards to review the X-rays.Made an appointment for a couple days later for and MRI which is conviently done in the same building and made a followup appointment. I was out by 2:45.Everyone is very friendly and its a very clean office.This will certainly be my go to.

I arrived well – on time for my appointment.Upon signing in, I was not greeted in a welcoming manner, unless you call having a clipboard tossed on the counter and being asked to complete it.I sat down, and waited to be called.I was waiting for about 45 minutes and after ½ hour past my appointment time, I asked the receptionist about the policy concerning integrity to time.The conversation essentially ended with I will have to wait, there are 4 people in front of me, or I could re-schedule.This was a follow-up to see if my fracture was healing properly, and the next available appointment was not for two weeks.I asked to see the office manager. I waited another 25 minutes for the office manager to appear, and when asked why it took so long the response was “ I was in a meeting”.The receptionist could have told me that 25 minutes earlier. The conversation essentially ended the same way, with the office manager projecting a ½ hour wait, and 4 patients in front of me.Doing the math, that meant the Doctor intended to spend 7.5 minutes with each of those patients before getting to me. I don’t’ see how that was possible and still deliver quality of care.When asked about integrity to time, and the impact on the patients schedule, the general message from the office manager was that “that” didn’t concern themIf I kept a client waiting in my business, with no accountability, and no communication, I would most certainly lose that client as a customer. . The office manager did not seem at all concerned about any impact of the firm’s reputation. I was essentially told that the doctors schedule mattered more. I don’t know of anyone who wants to hear that.I left the facility, immediately got an x-ray at another facility ( who confirmed that many of your patients have the same complaint), and made an appointment with another orthopedic group for tomorrow.I intend to complain to South Nassau for having recommended Dr. Ticker in the first place. .At no point in any encounter at this office did I feel that I mattered at all, and I did get an admission of an ongoing culture of not being in integrity to time. It seemed to be okay, since the impact impacted every patient equally.I felt what DID matter- was all the attention to insurance and paperwork being precise & in place. I felt that actually interacting with a patient was just a necessary evil on the eventual path to a payment.
