Elite sent a tech to fix our AC issue. Mark (very nice guy) came and diagnosed the issue. He got the system working better and we scheduled an appointment for a permanent fix. We spent $300 to join their “heroes” program to be part of their “family” for discounted service and preferred treatment. I was told during Mark’s service visit Tuesday that I would get an estimate for the work needed by the next day. Thursday I still had not received an estimate. I called and a nice woman told me I slipped through the cracks. I admired her honesty and expected an estimate soon after. Nothing. I sent an email Saturday morning. Still nothing. Now it’s Sunday evening. We’re supposed to have an appointment tomorrow morning for the work to be done but I haven’t received an estimate and have had zero communication. Do they expect to show up in the morning to do the work without giving us a price? Or will they not show up?

Rich and his team came out to remove an old central ac system and install a new one. Rich responded quickly to any issues that came up and stayed until the job was complete. Very thorough, clean, and professional service. Great job!

Trying to setup an appointment for someone to even come over is an adventure. First time they called and said the Tech needs to reschedule because he is stuck at some other job. So they rescheduled the next day. When the slotted time passed away, I called to find out whats going on and the response was - we are very upset with our Tech guy. He forgot about the appointment and they have to reschedule again. I asked what about any other tech. Surprise! They dont have any other tech. They asked me to reschedule again for Monday. I asked why not over the weekend. They cant do that either. So much for 24 hour service (deceptive marketing). And here I am stuck with a faulty AC system for 2 days now in this summer heat with kids at home. Worst provider ever!FOLLOW UP REVIEW:Changing the rating from 1 star to 5 stars. After the above mentioned debacle, Rich called me and sincerely apologized for the mix up with scheduling. Then he offered me free of service charge and sent Jamie at night. Jamie was a pro and immediately got my AC to work again. I truly appreciated Elite Comfort Groups sincerity and professionalism. I will definitely call them again for any service related to my HVAC system. Thank you guys so much for your cool service to have my cooling back again. :)

Richard and his team at Elite Comfort were the absolute best! They presented me with an option to repair my Central AC system even though there really wasn’t much of an option left (15 years old using R22). They also presented me with multiple options for replacing my system and I never felt pressured. Richard spent time with me answering all my questions and going over the options. Once selected he was able to get the equipment and install the next day in the middle of a heat wave for a reasonable price based on what several other people told me they paid over the past few months. I couldn’t have been happier that I selected Elite and I would highly recommend them!!!

Rich, John and Dustin are absolutely incredible. They had the installation done in under 4 hours and were able to accommodate my family during the heat wave. They were extremely professional and friendly. They even offered temporary relief due to the extreme heat at no cost. Elite did a great job for our broken AC. They diagnosed a leaking coil, tested it, and then ordered a new one. The part took a long time to arrive because of supply chain interruptions of the pandemic, but we got a call as soon it arrived and the installation appt was scheduled promptly. There was a minor glitch in that the repair team left without making sure the AC was operational again, but as soon as I called they dispatched a team the next day and got it working. We found Elite Comfort group in the middle of the night when we lost our heat. We just moved into this home and was not sure of the current situation with the boiler. Rich came over after midnight and was able to get our heat back on to make it through the night. Rich followed up promptly the following morning and had his mechanic John come over to Im sure we had heat that would stay on. We knew we were going to be in the market for a new boiler and AC We lasted another few weeks.We then again lost our heat and John came back.. he assessed the situation and said this is going to need to be replaced. He took out a tiny camera and showed me exactly where the issue is inside of our boiler. I liked that I could see for myself that he was not trying to sell a new system. I could actually see what the problem was! Furthermore we also were in need of a new AC system. John took down the measurements and told me that he can give me 3 different options. This made me feel good about the situation. Rich came over and we discussed the three packages. Which included financing and the three options for replacement. Rich made us extremely comfortable in the work that was going to be done and his pricing was very competitive.John came and installed the system both the boiler and the AC, he did a fantastic job. He kept the work area very neat and clean. We are so happy with this new system. To put it plain and simple I am impressed with their 5 star service and pricing options. Had to give a star or two for showing up for estimate. But that was it...If youre too busy or not interested in doing the job, at least respond and say so. Contacted them [for estimate] but never responded back. They may do great work, but if you have to deal with unreliability and unresponsiveness, thats just bad business practice; look somewhere else.

Made an appointment 2 weeks ago and they never showed I received a call the next day from the company apologizing. Things happen so rescheduled for this past Saturday. I had a three hour window per their appointment scheduling I called an hour before and they said someone would be in touch with me shortly - they never called and never showed - will never use them.

So glad I called Elite Comfort. Dealing with Marc was a pleasure . Very informative and helped get our heat back on when we lost it. He informed me about the ins and outs of my system. Now we are getting a new system put in due to the furnace being 26 years old. There financing plan was also a breeze . Looking forward to doing business with Elite Comfort down the road. We had a great experience with Elite Comfort Group. We just moved into a new home in September. We had a home inspection on the house and they said the The heating system would be good. 2 weeks ago we went to turn it on and it didn’t work. We asked some neighbors who we should use and they recommended Elite Comfort Group.The service man that came out was able to get our heat working again. He was very through and knowledgeable. He explained to us how the system worked and he found out why my daughters room was always colder than the other rooms.We decided that at 22 years old our old system would be better to replace now than wait for another breakdown. They installed our new heating and air system. I took about 2 days. They were so professional and the workers were so nice. Im so happy we did this because it’s working perfectly now. We also got the better air filters and air purifier. We dealt with Rich and he was a pleasure to work with.

I have had my AC installed about 3 weeks ago and the thing still works intermittently. Getting someone to come over and repair is difficult and stressing. A huge hole left on my ceiling, which they will be repairing in a week. So about 3 to 4 weeks with a hole in my ceiling. The 24 hour service has a 9 to 5pm or 9 to 10pm schedule. Whatever it is, its not 24 hours.I have considered telling them to take the unit back and just give me a refund, but Im sure thats going to be more of a hassle then getting them to fix it.Really nice guys. Very understanding, but I rather have technicians that are rough around the edges and get the job done right the first time.The delivery, the quality, the support for the unit, the consistency is just not there.I understand it is a busy season right now, this is why I waited 3 weeks to post this review. Very disappointed in MYSELF with this purchase.Hopefully this review will help a person make more of an educated choice then I did.

Marc was very knowledgeable and help inform my wife and myself of the problems we were having. He helped us understand about our options and how to move forward. He got us up and running for today thank you and most likely will doing business in the near future.

As NY State instituted new HVAC guidelines for gyms and fitness centers, and Suffolk County Department of Health scrambled to get everyone inspected and open, many companies were unaware of the new regs or unable to come in a timely manner.Elite Comfort Group new exactly what was required, and made it a point to be onsite within a day so we could be ready for our inspection. Rich, I thank you and your team of experts for there timely service on my boiler and a new 50 gallon water heater before this storm hits from start to finish. Rich, the owner, was extremely helpful during the whole process. Also let me watch him as he showed me the problems and new parts i needed. It started to freeze one night and my boiler shut off. Called rich and soon enough within 15 minutes as he promised, was here even though it was a qiuck and easy repair. More importantly he stayed until my family and i was completely comfortable. It is easy to offer a review when everything goes according to plan, but a great company shines through and shows true value on the jobs that are not easy or they are handed a situation that is so bad that it becomes memorable to them. I was in a really bad position from a previous company not doing the right thing and Elite Comfort took me from a place of despair to a place of acceptance, guidance, and understanding on a level I never thought I would possess. In three days not only did I have my system fully repaired, updated and improved preventing future issues, but i also gained the knowledge and understanding of how my system works as well as what to look for if an issue arises.
