Weve been coming here for years.The staff is always friendly and helpful.They have so many programs to get involved in.Both online via Zoom and in person.

Library now open and nicely configured for safe social distancing. Curb-side pickup and drop off also available.

Up-to-date videos, clean library, free chair yoga sessions are amazing! I particularly like the area where there are chessboards and places to color giant coloring sheets and work on puzzles as a community. So proud of this library, which I call home. They do have to improve their internet connection which sometimes is erratic. Also, there is no mobile phone signal in this area.

Kids area is pretty big and contained. Adults section is very quiet. Staff are very friendly. They always trying to add new programs. I LOVE MY library!

This library is fantastic! The staff is friendly and helpful. The late fees are the lowest Ive ever seen. The services and programs are phenomenal. Meeting rooms open to the public. Great remodeling and the teen section will be amazing when its finished! The VR section is a hit with the kids!

Excellent programs for adults, teens and kids. I have learned new skills and made some friends, too. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.This library has things available to you that I just havent seen elsewhere and the digital access makes it so easy to read books, audiobooks, magazines and do other things without leaving home.I consider CPL my home away from home!

Excellent programs for both children and adults. The librarians in the childrens area genuinely care for the kids and make every effort to get every kid involved. With little kids on Long Island well take any free programs we can get, and by no means do these ever feel free. They rival the now defunct Gymboree and the like.Theyre constantly adding new technology to learn about as well. They have a 3D printer and Steam VR to try out and you can borrow iPads, projectors, video games, and even large kid toys. Excellent selection of movies, games, and obviously books.

This is the best library in the world. I love the staff. Perhaps we could have an option to receive paperless newsletters and save some money to fix (calibrate) those darn copying machines and keep ink cartridges and paper at the workstations. These are continuously recurring problems and I know there is plenty of experienced tech help available over there.

I go to My Library on average once a week. I use it for books, audiobooks, reference books and the computer access when I am having trouble with my own laptop. I LOVE MY LIBRARY! The staff is friendly, they are knowledgeable and are always eager to help. I have requested specific books for references in my studies and they went out and got them.The library is large, fully loaded with all kinds of knowledge, and recently renovated with new carpet.I have attended their special programs and always find them fun and educational.CHECK IT OUT if you havent already!

This is the first time I am here. Very impressed, huge space, plenty of resources, plenty of big spacious desks with plenty of outlets and fast wifi. Immaculate condition. Nice, professional staff.

The library itself is very large, always very clean, quiet, and the staff always seems to be in a good mood. The only 2 things I cannot stand is that even in the adult section, I have to ask someone to unlock the restroom door every time I need to go. It makes me feel like Im back in Elementary School. My only other issue is that the hours are horrible on the weekends, its not like nobody is there on the weekends either; the library is always very busy and I dont see why they cant stay open a little longer than 4 hours.

The people who are in the front desk of the kids area are so kind and patient. They really love works with kids. The are always willing to help!
