I stay with and support AMAC because it is a conservative organization that supports conservatives.

Joined Amac didnt get was i was promised made several attempts to get things straightened out with no avail will not be renewing poor staff communications.

Much better than AARP in my opinion

AMAC was a waste of time for me. The site touted benefits that sounded credible on the surface. So without doing much homework, I joined. But when I started looking at the benefits as a member, there was nothing there of any value. The welcome package touted benefits like a free Sundae at Friendlys restaurant, and flakey ads to buy gold!. I can get high-quality offers like that on my own. But heres the best part. I decided to cancel my membership. If you look (long and hard) on their website, buried on a hard-to-find back page, theres a process whereby you can cancel your membership and receive a refund. (See photo). So I followed that process to the letter, and sent in a letter asking for cancellation and refund. Weeks went by. Crickets. No response at all. So after a few weeks I e-mailed them at the address they provided. The e-mail bounced back to me! Some organization this is. Finally I disputed the charge with my credit card company and a couple weeks later AMAC finally responded with a refund. Maybe someone else can point to a useful benefit from AMAC, but for me it was little more than a website soliciting a charge to your visa or mastercard. Approach with caution.

AMAC is better than the other entity out there that backed Obama and Hillary for both of the Obama terms.We do get VERY VERY tired of the emails that AMAC sends out every 3 to 5 days trying to sell car insurance and etc. I would like my Mom and Dad to join AMAC, BUT I feel one of them would follow one of the email promotions to find out more about what AMAC is promoting and end up being snookered into buying something by a high pressure salesperson.On the positive side I do enjoy the ANTI - LEFT information they post about Congress and the President.

I seldom give a 100% score to anything as there is always room for improvement. I really enjoy reading the reports on AMAC I feel they are doing well at keeping me informed. I have been a member for nearly 10 years now. I look forward to the articles that keep me informed on true news I need to know and especially like the polls. I am amazed at how many truly intelligent people are willing to explain the issues so succinctly. Too bad its not the nightly news instead of all the BS they try to pass off now. We really enjoy our AMAC membership and their varied & interesting publications, email updates and great senior perks. We dumped our AARP commitments several years ago. What a pleasant relief to rid ourselves from their obvious & extremely left leading opinions. AMAC is a breath of fresh air! If you join you wont be disappointed. Guaranteed.

AMAC is an excellent organization for those who want the whole truth about what is happening in our world. I also enjoy their quizzes and info emails they send. I joined because of their more conservative view than AARP. Recently, I read an article about how United Nations troops placed in war torn countries to provide protection were instead raping women and even young girls. Why haven’t we heard of that on our news channels?

My husband and I look forward to reading the Association for Mature American Citizens. Here I can read a conservative side of an issue and critically analyze the information, not just be brainwashed by the redundant talking heads of the mainstream media. I have been a member for awhile. Better for us retired people. With the success of our great president the costs of living will get higher but hopefully our costs for health will get under control. I like this Amac because they think about the tax payers more than celebrities.

America needs you.”I know of associations that have a cause that they fight for and also claim to be bipartisan, meaning that they support political candidates of any party that support their cause. Then there are other associations that claim to be bipartisan by not supporting any candidates, they often do not get anything done and are a waste of time, AMAC is the latter. I know this from experience as I joined one such association of several that were working together to get voter initiative passed in Rhode Island. We collected tens of thousands signatures but in the end the state politicians realized we would not field candidates to oppose them. They thought our efforts were a joke, and they were right. Those associations never got nothing done, they do not even exist anymore. I had conversations with AMAC about being one of their delegates. I would have meeting with my socialist democrat congressman to express AMAC opinions to him. I am sure he would listen intently and as soon as I left his sight continue marry along on his agenda to destroy the USA as we know it. Worst yet AMAC harms the cause they support by attracting people and wasting their time and efforts to support an association that will only sit on the side lines while those more worthy join the field of battel, and make no mistake, this this is a battel for the sole of the USA. Making change, saving the USA is a matter of DEFEATING MY SOCIALIST DEMOCRAT CONGRESSMAN AND HIS COCONSPIRATORS NOT TALKING TO THEM. And to AMAC the only answer to this is, “We have changed our minds and will support all candidates that support our cause.” Any other answer AMAC can dream up does not matter.

Our experience regards Travelers Insurance, a hail claim and AMACs lack of support.March of this year our area was hit with hail in the amount and size that lasted on the ground for over 2 hours. Contractors are still replacing roofs in the town as of this post-08/01/17.We had a claim adjuster that gave us money for the south half our house roof and money for the whole roof on our shed. After we discovered many including our immediate neighbors were getting whole roof replacement costs, we contacted Travelers with a complaint.By this time, we had taken an oppening with a contractor and had our roof replaced. Travelers response to our complaint was to send the adjuster out again BUT as I just stated our roof was on so we were to take the settlement they gave us plus an additional $244.08 for the North side of our roof.Travelers also stated to us that they are not concerned with how other insurance companies performed in this case.We contacted AMAC for assistance and support as they promote Travelers Insurance and they have done nothing to see that their members are not scammed. This is what your membership buys!

AMAC represents me as opposed to AARP which, I feel, sold out to the left. More people need to make the switch in order to give AMAC a greater voice on our behalf.

One recent magazine cover from AMAC kind of turned me off as trying to pander to blacks and not to offend them. It had to do with the cover pertaining to the football players that were taking a knee during the National Anthem. It was started by Colin Kaepernick who is half black. Followed by other black players and a few white players. AMAC addressed this issue in an article in their magazine. On the cover of the AMAC magazine. There is a cartoon depicting two players kneeling . You can clearly make out that one football player is white while the other is nondescript. Clearly this was done intentionally. Why were they afraid to depict that second player as being black? Lately the white male has been the target for very harmful comments from the likes of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton and the black demagogues like Obama, Sharpton, Karmala Harris, Cory Booker aka Spartacus and Jussie Smollett. They throw the word white privilege and racist around as if its acceptable or even factual. Even fabricate non existent hate crimes. Maybe eight years of a divisive President Obama has made me a bit sensitive. Or just perhaps I see something taking place thats not good for this country. Since when is racism OK if its directed at white people?

Replace AARP with AMAC today. I found it was quick, easy and very inexpensive to do. It feels good to drop AARP and what it stands for or rather what it stands against. I have been an AARP member forever but have not been satisfied with several aspects of the organization. I have been looking around and have recently been looking at the AMAC website and the newsletter. I really like what I see and have made the change to AMAC. Dont feel like I gave up anything but am much more satisfied. I Definitely recommend AMAC.

I love supporting and being a member of this organization. If it werent for AMAC, the only place I could get comparable benefits is AARP. Both have great benefits. The down side is both organizations devote some of your dues to their political agenda. AARP leans extreme Left. AMAC isnt quite as extreme but it definitely leans to the Right. My father was a member of AARP and I was his Power of Attorney when he needed it the last several years of his life. I could not believe the vast amount of extreme left wing propaganda they fed to him on a regular basis. As a Libertarian viewed voter who votes on principals and issues rather than political party, I definitely prefer AMAC. I dont like to give referrals, but I like AMAC enough that I have talked others into switching from AARP to AMAC.

They offer lots of savings like AARP, but unlike AARP they don’t lie to you!I called AARP three times during the ObamaCare debate and three times they told me that AARP was NOT supporting ObamaCare and that was an absolute LIE! After ObamaCare became the law of the land, AARP was one of the first businesses to state that they were in full support of ObamaCare the whole time.Also, a number of years ago we got car insurance through AARP, thinking that we were getting “ a really good deal because we were AARP members”. Every year the premiums went up and so we checked out another insurance company and got a rate , with better payout amounts for us at about 1/2 of what we were paying the insurance company with AARP.We were shocked, because we thought we were getting a better rate being AARP members!If AARP lies to you about these things, what else are they lying about?Check out AMAC if you want to save money and especially if you believe in conservative values like God, Family, and Country!

AMAC does a great job of communicating what is going on in Washington and representing our conservative values. Their value added benefits and discounts are just the icing on the cake.

AMAC is the only moderate to conservative alternative to the socialistic AARP. Remember, AARP help usher in Obamacare, for which I now pay more for medical insurance than I do for my 6 year old 4 bedroom house on 1/2 acre. Over $1030 per month for insurance that I very seldom use. You can thank AARP in part for their promotion of this Obomination.

Being a member only in excess of one year, I find AMAC to be very serious in its reporting of the news, the details understandable and easy to read and comprehend. I enjoy the weekly news reports, but best of all is the Question and answer section which makes the brain function a bit faster to remember, so good for those of us who are a bit older.I have also taken advantage of the various advertisements and commerical supoorters of AMAC and strongly recommend their use to others. You are treated fair and usually by a human, who reponds to your quetions and queries with respect.
