I had my first visit today at Florida Dental for sleep apnea! I was greeted so very professionally with on time attention! The young ladies at the front desk were so welcoming and attentive. Next I was introduced to Lea who worked with me for well over two hours. Top notch service, very informative and extremely gentle. “No rush” was what I kept hearing and I thought how nice not to be on a time clock , that this dentist and his staff actually treat you as a person, not just another paying customer! I cannot say enough about this office and the staff that will work with you to be sure you are taken the best care of and that your health is priority!! Clean, masks worn, gloves, sanitizer, everything to make you feel comfortable! Lea did an outstanding service and is by far a very critical part of this group!!! The experience was seamless and very efficient. Lea is a real pro and was very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Mogell is highly regarded and the treatment plan was easy to understand and implement.

This was the best decision I made. The oral appliance is not cumbersome and can fit in your handbag. Dr Mogell and Lea really are the best. I never knew how detrimental sleep apnea is to your body but this appliance is the best way to approach the situation.

First visit was 11/10/2020. I was extremely anxious but on entering the office, I started to relax. Dr Mogell greeted me in a Covid approriate way. When I enter the exam room I took note how clean it was.Lea was very informative. All explainations for procedures were given in a knowledgeable and patient way. When my husband was diagnosed with sleep apnea, he was looking for a treatment that didnt involve the CPAP machine and was directed to Dr. Mogell to be fitted with a mouth appliance. This was the best advice he could have gotten. The staff took great care to be sure he was well cared for. He was able to get appointments as needed without too long of a wait. All insurance paperwork was handled through his office without problems. The office is neat, clean, and very well organized. Dr. Mogell is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to work with. He made the entire process of fitting the mouth appliance go very smoothly. And bottom line, my husbands sleep apnea breathing issues, and internal stress, have been diminished to the point that we both are now getting a good, safe, and healthy nights sleep. I was referred to Dr. Mogell by my ENT. He came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. Dr. Mogell and his assistant Lea were wonderful. Lea was so sweet and she made me feel comfortable as we discussed my symptoms. Dr. Mogell was fantastic as well, he took the time to explain every test and what it measured. I feel like I finally have an answer to what was causing my sleep issues. I wish I had seen him years ago.

Ive never dealt with such unprofessional idiots in my life. After taking $500, they gave me the runaround for four months, and then suggested that I advocate for myself with the insurance company.Avoid these nightmarish fools at all costs.

I was recently fitted (April 2021) for my second oral appliance as my 5 year old appliance no longer fit due to some dental work. Again, I was very please with my experience at Florida Dental Sleep Disorders. Leah and Dr. Mogell were wonderful-very professional, knowledgeable and caring. Versus 5 years ago, they have invested in new technology and procedures to ensure my device fit and worked. And, they have a good follow-up procedure in place. The office was very clean, up-to-date and practiced good COVID protection procedures. And, I was seen on-time. I would recommend them to anyone who has a sleep issue.I am very pleased with my experience at Florida Dental Sleep Disorders. The office was very clean and up to date. The staff was friendly, yet professional and took the time to see that my questions were answered. The same goes for Dr. Mogell; he is the type of doctor one always hopes to have.I was not a fan of my CPAP machine, and stopped using it. I found my snoring to be practically eliminated the first night I started using the oral appliance Dr. Mogell prescribed for me. I began to feel much more rested each morning after a night wearing the oral appliance. An at-home sleep study showed a very marked improvement in my sleep pattern. And, best of all, there were none of the hassles I had with the CPAP machine. Needless to say, Im a big fan!!

I was told by my spouse that I snored heavily. I went to Dr Mogell who prescribed a sleep study which showed that I had mild sleep apnea. I followed up with Dr. Mogell who felt that my problem could be helped by an oral sleep device. I had the required measurements taken and was fitted with a Narval appliance. Right away my snoring ceased (I am told) but the thing I noticed most is that my energy level is way higher than it had been in a long time! Adjustment time was minimal and Dr Mogell and his staff, Leah and Samantha are all top notch.
