I couldn’t more more satisfied with my experience at Boca Raton Laser.When I first came to Susan she told me that we would be able to get rid of all of the hair in 5 session... I was hesitant because I had heard from many people that it takes around 10-15 session.I was a bit skeptical that I was being over promised but after 5 sessions ALL OF THE HAIR IS GONE!!!I 10/10 recommend working with Susan. She is great at what she does, makes you feel extremely comfortable in the chair, and is hilarious!I honestly miss her now that I’m finished up LOL.Don’t waste your time with cheap groupons, get the job done right here and you’ll save money and time in the long run!

I hired this lady based on her reviews and I was very disappointed. She did very little for my treatments and despite being hopeful, it did not turn out well. She left me and with burns and scars, and became more rude and nastier with each additional treatments. I would definitely not recommend her.

From the moment I started speaking with and working with Susan on my personal health, I knew I was in the presence of a master and a true professional. She is thorough, methodical and her bedside manner is outstanding. Thus far, she has clearly mapped out the treatment plan and has let me know of any future possibilities for extra treatments and the related costs that go along with it so I can continue to make well-informed choices going forward. She uses leading edge tools and her office is immaculate.I have no reservations in giving her and her clinic a 5-Star rating. I recently read a very nasty and vitriolic post about her and her services on google. I believe that post is a gross misrepresentation of her and her skills/professionalism. Before I chose to settle on this clinic, I read each post carefully and cross-checked the comments with her website. If you have any doubts, do that. It pisses me off to no end that people can make up lies to suit their own shortcomings. Do your own homework and diligence rather than relying on the one or two outliers that are just sour grapes/haters. Susan is fantastic. Simply and honestly.

I just started my treatments with Susan this past weekend. I did my research and went to four different consultations, then I spoke with Susan on the phone and knew I wanted to work with her immediately. It was as if I was speaking to an old friend or family member. I believe there is a priceless value added when the person actually performing the treatments is also the business owner. She was honest, direct and informative. She answered all of my questions and was incredibly fair with her pricing - coming in lower than a lot of the corporate places that overcharge and under perform. Although I cant give a testament to my results, I have no doubt that I will achieve the hairless body I am striving for. On a more personal note, it meant a lot that she was an RN and knew way more than your textbook laser removal technician might about hormones and different causes for very high hair production. Susan went out of her way to make me as comfortable as possible through the actual lasering process which helped tremendously since I am an incredibly hair woman and knew my appointment would last much longer than her average customer. I cant say enough good things about Susan or detail further why I have had such a great experience. I urge you to call her and I guarantee as soon as she answers the phone you will completely understand what I mean!

After working with two other places prior to meeting Susan, paying and not having any success in getting rid of my unwanted hair on my face, working with Susan has been everything I needed. Going in for laser can make you feel very self conscious about yourself and body, but after having a wonderful phone convo and then my first session with Susan, I felt so at ease. FYI I am a total wimp and I will be the first one to admit it. I got a prescription for the SUPER extra numbing cream and the discomfort from the laser was 1000x better. Okay as much as I want to say this was a great experience...it was not. Truthfully, if you like being in excruciating pain and wasting your time and money then this is the place for you. I was told that the hair on my legs will be permanently gone in 3-5 sessions. ELEVEN (11) sessions later and guess whos still shaving their legs every few days. :/ Im sure (maybe) that Susan had the intention for everything to go smoothly, but it did not. During the sessions, I was in pain, almost crying. (Which I assumed I just had low pain tolerance, but it turns out that other laser hair removal places are somehow much less painful.) While I was in this pain, Susan had the AUDACITY (!!!!) to complain and constantly make comments on how I was a difficult patient. So overall, I recommend finding a different place to get your hair removed.

I am almost done with my Brazilian area and I am seeing amazing results!! I get ingrowns a lot, so I tended to see more during the process bc the hairs would remain under the skin and not grow out, but they had gradually went away almost completely at this point with the help of exfoliating and baths. After only the second session I had seen great results. I go every 2 weeks for laser sessions bc of my coarse hair, which I prefer over every 6 weeks which other places do because I am only home for the summer from school and you see results much faster! Susan knows what she’s doing and knows what she’s talking about. I just started the under arm treatment and am expecting the same great results! Reasonable prices as well, you pay a flat fee (varies depending on the area you want done) if needed an extra session she does not charge you! Highly recommend :)

First off.. Susan is amazing! With her background in nursing, many years of experience doing laser, and not to mention all the amazing reviews I felt so much better about going to her for my initial consultation. I have struggled with folliculitis (inflammation and even infection of the hair follicles) on the backs of my legs for over 9 years now. This has been a huge embarrassment for me, and while struggling with this I have tried everything under the sun to treat it. I had even tried laser at a different here in Boca with absolutely no results. But she took one look at my legs and was confident that she would be able to help me.I am now three treatments in and it is an absolute world of a difference! Not only is my folliculitis nearly gone, but even the scarring has significantly cleared. Along with getting my legs done, I also chose to have my upper lip, armpits, and bikini to be lasered away and Ive seen amazing results in every area.I do not have much tolerance for pain, and honestly the laser does sting in the more sensitive areas like armpits and bikini. Luckily those smaller and more sensitive areas are finished in seconds and once she moved on to my legs I barely felt it at all.Susan has been amazing throughout this whole experience. She was so helpful in answering every question I had even before my first consultation. Every visit I have had since has been ideal. Her space is always clean, she is always professional, and I can only say the best about her.

My laser here was awful. 6 months ago I finished my treatment with Susan and I’m so disappointed, so I decided to leave a review. I’m Hispanic, darker skin tone, with very thick, dark hair and I’m in my 50s.A little background: I did my laser treatment on my legs through a separate facility (purchased the package on Groupon) and I wanted to do my face there as well, but the lady who worked on me was very honest and told me that laser would not work on my face because the hair is too thin. A little after, a friend of mine recommended Susan (who recently just told me that she had a really bad experience with her), so I decided to go to a consultation. Susan was very nice and pleasant at the start – she said she’d charge me $1000 for my face and vaginal area. I was very excited because she assured me that her laser machine would work on my face, as it was very up-to-date and high tech unlike other laser machines. I started going every 2-3 weeks and it was great – she was really sweet and nice to me at the beginning.After about my 4th session, she changed completely with me. She began mocking my accent, was racist towards me at times, and was very sarcastic throughout my treatment. She wouldn’t even say hello to me when I arrived. She had no compassion at all for the person undergoing the treatment. I left several sessions crying and was burned on many occasions. One day she burned me very badly (I have pictures and willing to post), I was crying on her table and asked her to please lower the settings on her machine; she didn’t, and even suggested that I took an “oxy” and valium if it was “that bad.” I was horrified. After going home and realizing how bad the burn was, I sent her pictures of the burn, and all she replied was “Take Motrin.” The days I could not handle the pain, she cut the sessions in time instead of fixing the problem at hand by just lowering the intensity.After my 10th session, I realized that I received little to no improvement in my hair growth. When I asked Susan why this was, she suggested I was menopausal and that laser treatment would not work on those with hormonal issues. To be clear, Susan NEVER said this at my initial consultation – that women undergoing menopause would not be eligible clients. This was extremely dishonest to not even mention this from the start, and was NEVER discussed with me prior to paying her up front for my laser (the full $1000). I’m Hispanic so my hair is much thicker and darker, and Susan did not know how to do deal with this type of hair and skin. She mentioned that none of her other clients had this issue, so I’m assuming it’s because she doesn’t know how to treat women of color. PLEASE, if you’re a woman of color or a menopausal woman, please find someone who understands how to treat you and don’t waste your time and money!! I would have liked to dispute this with American Express, but because I did not have a formal contract or receipt of her conditions, there’s nothing I can do. If you are going with this laser, read the conditions before hand and make sure you are getting as many sessions as you need until you are satisfied with your results. I wasnt... all my hair grew back and it didnt work! I would not recommend; Susan was very unprofessional and rude.

I’ve never left a bad review but I feel the need to, as my laser experience with Susan was the worst treatment of my life, hands down. Both my mother and I went to Susan after a very close friend recommended her (who also had a bad experience!!). It’s been 5 months since my last treatment, and ALL of my hair has grown back. I would say it’s even worse than what it was prior to lasering. When I initially had my first consultation with Susan, she assured me that I would no longer get ingrowns and that my hair would be gone. I suffered from ingrowns my whole life and my gynecologist recommended that I do laser, as it would fix this problem forever – if done correctly. Susan never specified how many sessions it would take for me to have great results – all she said is that I would be very happy by the end of my treatment. My first session with her went well; she was nice at the beginning and I felt little to no pain because she had the machine on a very low setting. As I went to more sessions, Susan started becoming ruder and impatient, and would put the machine on a much higher intensity to the point where I could not tolerate the pain. The pain I experienced was unbearable... I have a really high pain tolerance – I’ve been getting skin treatments done since I was a little girl, but I could not tolerate this. I even left crying during one session and Susan did not say anything.Additionally, each of my sessions lasted only 5-7 minutes, which is ridiculous, since I was getting three different body parts lasered. When I asked my current esthetician how long each session should be, she said about 20-25 minutes for all the areas I was getting done. Susan also made me come back for each appointment within 2-3 weeks, which is also unheard of. My current esthetician assured me that I needed 6-8 weeks to give the body enough time to grow the hair back for the most effective results. (Laser is not supposed to hurt this badly either!! The place I go to now isn’t painful at all.) Of course I saw progress because my hair didn’t grow back after 2-3 weeks (it makes sense that patients are seeing results right away)… after I waited 6 weeks, however, all of my hair returned.I had initially decided to go with Susan because most Groupon or package deals had a limited number of sessions, such as 6-8 sessions. When I expressed this to Susan, she said she did not have a specific number and that my sessions were unlimited until I was satisfied (contrary to what she stated in her response). After 11 sessions (NOT 12), and only a couple re-scheduled appointments, Susan said I was no longer able to return to her office, with absolutely no warning. She even had the nerve to tell me to pay $50 for that additional treatment because I “exceeded my limit.” When I explained that my hair was still growing back and that I was not given the treatment I was promised, she said “I don’t know what to tell you – everyone’s hair is different.” I’ve never been so disappointed with a skin treatment in my life. Everyone is so shocked when I tell them I’ve done laser because there’s literally no difference in my hair.I guess she just really didnt like my friends and I seeing that no one else has shared this experience, so thats unfortunate for us. I did not get the pleasant, respectful service I would have loved. I paid $1500 for my face, underarms, and bikini area – and it did not work ONE bit. I know have to get a second round of treatment through other services, and I’m much happier with the results!

I have to share my very positive laser experience with Susan Greenberg of Boca Raton Laser. After going for 10 laser sessions with a different laser center (using a laser technician at a reputable plastic surgeons office) and seeing little to no results, I was frustrated but still hopeful to achieve good results with laser. At the recommendation of several friends, I eventually went to see Susan for laser. I just completed my 4th session and already see near-perfect results, and feel confident that after I complete my 5th, Ill be all clear! Susan is warm, personable and highly skilled. She gives clear directions to manage discomfort and importantly she manages expectations (e.g, shell be upfront with you if youre likely to not achieve perfect results in 5 sessions due to hormonal or other specific issues). As a bonus, shes also just fun to be around! Her warmth and humor makes an awkward situation much more comfortable, which I think is a big help in the process.
