After 19 months of letting my hair grow, I finally ventured out for my first post Covid cut and deep conditioning. I could end this review by saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” yet that would not express my entire experience with the Sincere and Sassy Salon owner Sima. The best part about working with Sima is that she really listens to what you want, patiently explains her products and services, and then (obviously) delivers. I do not color my hair and do not like to use harsh chemicals. I told Sima my biggest issue is my hair has become dry and flyaway due to swimming and sun damage. Sima instantly recommended one of her Signature ALL Natural products, which she whipped up and applied while we chit-chatted and giggled about life to the point that I was back in her chair getting a delicious hair blow out before I knew it. In the background an enchanting array of soothing music played and for that hour and a half I felt pampered and cared for. My hair has been long my entire life, and I’ve had issues over the years of stylists not listening to what I wanted. This was my second time interacting with Sima and it was again the worst one. I came to her first time a few years ago to have a consultation about coloring. My hair was very damaged and I was looking for an organic salon in hopes organic approach would help. She end up saying that Im afraid ill do what you dont like, Im trying to be honest, every client matters to me, etc. At that point I was like ok, maybe Im not ready to color yet.This time Ive decided to give it a second chance and I wanted just a hair cut first. I was very excited for the change, I washed my hair and didnt do my regular routine, because Im gonna have make over. Little did I know... I booked an appointment via text message. I said ill take that time, thank you. The day of the appointment I texted to confirm, when Sima said you didnt reply back to me so no appointment. I was frustrated, disappointed and we rescheduled for a next day. Ok, miscommunication, happens.The day X. I was waiting in the foyer 20mins even though i came a little later, because she texted she was running behind. When I sat in the chair and started to address all my concerns, she said you came close minded, you dont know what you want, you show me 3 different haircuts. Where in my eyes I was showing exactly the same thing with different styling. Im not a professional, thats exactly why I came to a professional, at least I thought that way.She went in full defense mechanism, told me to take a few mins and come back after. She kept saying that i wont touch your hair because ill do what you potentially dont like. (Hmm, I heard that one before!), Sima said that i dont beleive you that you have wavy/curly hair (it was my third day,, i didnt do a whole routine and didnt sleep in a bonet because i knew Im gonna have a cut, and I brushed it!) I was very much ready for a pro to listen to all my concerns, come up with a solution and do it. I stood up and left and she kept on going with her defense lines.I dont need just a hairdresser, I need a professional who will come up with a solution and do it beautifully without being scared to mess up, because he/she wont.Edit: I get that everyone will have their own opinions on what happened, but straight up lying about that i showed up without(!) an appointment and demanded services when we both have text messages is beyond lowest point. Good job Sima for making me that crazy client, easiest get away.

Her service was excellent and I too was impressed by her work ethics. When I wasnt sure about color, she told me that I could go home and reconsider. She wasnt pushy or forceful. But I am glad I didnt go home because my hair color is beautiful. Sima is intuitive and treats hair with ease. I strongly recommend her services. Just let her do it and you wont regret.

My perception was positive when I interviewed her which resulted in my accepting her service despite being the most expensive out of all the individuals I interviewed. Even though she claims she gave me a discount :-)To make matters worse, she recommended a not so natural procedure for my flyaways so, in my opinion, the name is clearly misleading.It could’ve ended on a positive know if she simply reacted professional to my concerns. You don’t always get what you pay for. On a positive note, it’s only hair :-)

Hands down, Sima is the most talented colorist I have worked with. It is easy to be effusive when someone takes pride in her work as Sima does. Been going here for years getting the perfect cut & amazing service from Sima. I guess i did not realize how great she is til i went on vacation & someone paid for my cut as a gift. The place was huge and a fancy salon. The service and quality were terrible compared to what Im used to. Conceited stylists with generic products. They were talking negative about previous clients among staff. Sima is always positive. I prefer the privacy of her salon. Its the best.

I was looking for someone to do root touch up near delay beach, I found naturallysima organic salon, I prefer organic or ammonia free color, price for root touch up was $65. When I went there she was running 40 minutes delay, well that happens no issues there but in her studio at one time we were four of us three clients and her. If you charging good prices you should provide that kind of environment. After my color was done she asked for $85 and that does not include blow dry or just drying your hair. She did not tell me before hand that she charges for the first time $85 and I have thin hair so did not need extra color. Anyways she honored her website price. When I came home I had color stain around my hairline skin and sideburns. I tried everything to take that stain off it did not come off, really sloppy job. She must be good but she was handling three clients and making phone calls its very hard for anybody to do a good job. I was going to go for a haircut and a conditioning treatment but I will not return to this salon. This review is honest review and observation not to criticize.

Sima has such talent! You leave much better than you came! She creates gorgeous color and will bring your hair to life. As someone with long hair, it must be strong and look healthy and Im thrilled with how my hair looks and feels!!!!

Sima has been cutting my hair for several years now, she gives me the best long layers cut on my thick coarse hair. I was apprehensive about doing another keratin treatment because my hair was already damaged from previous hair treatments done elsewhere. Well....this Keratin treatment Sima did exceeded my expectations! My hair looks great! no more frizz and unruly hair for me. I absolutely love the way my hair looks and feels. It is now very easy to style. Although I could have paid less at other hair salons, it is definitely worth going to Sima for this type of treatment.

I am a very low maintenance kind of girl when it comes to hair.After what it seemed like forever, I finally wanted to get a cut and a slight change in hair color,but I didnt want to damage my hair as much. I originally went to Sima beacause of the natural products. However, Simas positive personality basically does it for me because it literally exudes from her to her work and she does a good job. Also, always a plus she has great people skills! Although she is a tad bit pricey, the good service makes up for it. 😊Its a great environment with natural products if you like all of the above she is the gal.She has the touch! My hair has been so much healthier over all since she touched it, and I do not go to her often.Now my Boyfriend goes to her as well(a lot more often than i do)and hes so picky, but Sima seems to really have that special touch no matter the hair type or length.

The first time I met Sima was the summer of 2018. I had flown to Florida to visit my grandparents and celebrate my birthday. My grandmother noticed my hair was a mess from my Hawaii vacation during spring break. It had bleached in random spots due to the chlorine/salt water and sun, making my hair look super uneven and dry. She told me about Sima and said she does fantastic keratin treatments. So I got in contact with her and she agreed to squeeze in an appointment with me even though she had a hectic schedule. When I arrived to my appointment she literally was so kind and sweet. She examined my hair and said I needed to color it back to one color and then do the keratin treatment. So that is what we did. I cannot even begin to say how grateful I am because the before and after results were just unbelievable. My hair was amazingly healthy and soft. I did need a stronger keratin treatment due to the fact that my hair type is super curly, and very strong. I had an amazing 6 months of fabulous hair. Then during this past christmas break I had reached out to her again for another keratin treatment. The hair color from before had lasted so I did not need to redye my hair. I went in again for my treatment and got even better results than before! I love Sima so much! We grew so close right off the bat! I consider her my second mom. She listened to me about my issues with my mom and dad, and she gave me advice about how to work things out. Then during New Years Eve she invited me over to her house and we made fantastic seafood paella! We have consistently stayed in touch and have much love for eachother. She is the best hairdresser I have ever had, so that is why I am flying back in April to go see her again. Not only is she amazing at hair but shes also an outstanding friend. If I could give her 7 stars I would, absolutely recommend!!!
