Dr.Finklea is very professional taking as much time as needed to listen and/or answer questions. I would highly recommend him.

He’s absolutely amazing after my last obgyn didn’t listen to me at all. He addressed my concerns and help me get the right type of medication. In a matter of a hour I started to feel better after we switched which is an upside because my old medication was not fun. Go to him for your needs.

Dr. Austin Finklea is a phenomenal OB/GYN. He delivered all three of my children (1 C-Section, 2 VBACS). It is obvious he cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable. I felt at ease trusting him with my health and the health of my babies.

Dr Austin Finklea is actually the first male OBGYN that I have went to. He makes me feel completely as ease, and I can tell him anything, like I’ve known him forever. I’ve been a patient of his since 2015. He’s done 2 procedures for me and I’ll never go to anyone else for this care. He has a laid back, easy going personality!

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for Dr Finklea and his team!!!! I was a little nervous about having a male doctor and another OB who made me feel rushed and for the delivery was just a “baby catcher”. BUT From the very first appointment I loved how the staff was super friendly and there were only a handful of times I had to actually wait longer then 5 minutes. Dr Finklea from the start was so easy going and caring throughout the whole pregnancy! Always took time to listen to my questions and concerns, and tried to make me as comfortable as possible! As far as my labor and delivery, although it was my hardest birth and didn’t go as I had planned, I am so thankful for the nurses keeping him informed and I loved the fact that he came in to check on how everything was going! Up till the very end, him and the hospital team worked with me to have a safe delivery and a healthy baby! I totally understand why he is so busy! He was literally the best!!!!! We are so thankful for you!!!

This Dr. Is Awesome, he is a Dr. that listens well to your needs or concerns. Ive had two surgeries, with this Dr. and I am very thankful. The office staff is so nice! I used Dr. Finklea for my gynecologist and my OB for both my kids. He is straight forward with me and answers all my questions and never makes me feel like a burden or stupid! I highly recommend him and his team!

Very nice doctor. This was the first time for me seeing a male obgyn. He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything that he was doing. Definently would and will go back. He also has an amazing receptionist and nurse.

Dr. Finklea is truly amazing! He helped me so much along the way my entire pregnancy when I developed anxiety and prehypertension towards the end. I was so pleased with how labor and delivery went, he did a fabulous job delivering my son! I also never felt like a number in his office or anything, his staff is so amazing as well and they did awesome at every appointment! Sooo thankful!

Dr Austin J Finklea is a great doctor. He delivered both of my boys by caesarean. My first delivery was an emergency caesarean due to being diagnosed as having Pre-Eclampsia at 37 weeks. No complications however, I spent a little longer in the hospital due to blood pressure not going down as it should. He released me on my anniversary. He also delivered my second son just this past January. (2020) My sons head was in my birth canal and had to be dislodged. He made sure my son was going to be fine as was I. I highly recommend choosing Dr Finklea as your Obstetrician and Gynecologist.

Dr. Finklea is truly amazing. Hes been caring for me through my surprise high risk pregnancy. I truly appreciate the fact that when I have questions, he takes the time to answer them and explain every detail along the way. I never feel rushed and always feel like hes listening to my concerns rather than most doctors that seem to want to rush you through your appointment to get on to the next. Highly recommended!!!

Living in such a small community I always heard to go to Ft. Wayne for Doctors but I decided to take my own route and stay close to home. Im happy with my decision. Dr. Finklea handled the loss of our baby girl, even though he was not the doctor that was handling that pregnacy. He was kind and compassionate. When we got pregnant again, my wife and I chose Dr. Finklea as our ob/gyn. I have spoken with him numerous times about the pregnancy and concerns and he is very easy to talk to about many things. I would recommend him on the basis of how much he cares.

Dr. Finklea and his staff are absolutely awesome!! I had Essure it had migrated and was causing lots of health issues. Dr. Finklea done a hysterectomy to remove coils, a week postop and I feel great! I highly recommend him, would give 10 stars if I could. Very understanding about my needs.
