I had achilles pain for 18 years. The diagnosis was Haglunds Deformity, Insertional Achilles Tendinitis. It worsened during adult rec basketball. My Podiatrist recommended me to Dr. Rizzo for surgery. The surgery performed was removal of excess heel bone, defibering of tendon and speed bridge suture for attachment. It was a huge success for me! I am able to return to running and basketball with zero pain. Before surgery, I had pain just walking into work. Dr. Rizzo obviously did a great job on the surgery but he also was a great person to talk to. He treated my wife and I like neighbors. He answered all our questions and concerns and never made us feel hurried. One month after surgery, I slipped and thought I messed up my heel. Dr. Rizzo accepted a call on a Sat night on his personal cell and talked me thru the situation. Luckily all was good. I highly suggest him as a Doctor.

I have seen both Dr. Rizzo and Dr. Loftus. I would recommend them to anyone

My family and I have been going to the doctors here for almost 18 years and I personally have had multiple surgeries with Dr. Rizzo and I wish I could recommend him higher than 5 stars! I dont want any other doctor touching my feet but if I had to it would be Dr. Todd Loftus. He is good spends a lot time with you also.Some have complained on here that the waits are long for Dr. Rizzo, this may be true but that is because he spends time with each patient talking to you and finding out what is really going on. I dont mind waiting for the man. Call ahead and ask how far behind he is the staff will be honest with you.

Great doctor but expect to wait.
