Waaaaaaay overpriced - Cub forgot about who their customers were a long time ago - they are often more expensive than byerlys and lunds

I have been shopping at this location since it was Ref Owl/Country Store, and I am satisfied with the products and services they provide.I support their decision to close at midnight. This is for the safety of the customers.

Great idea to close the store at night. Not only does the corporation save money but now I can go to a better grocery store (not Cub) during the day.

Very nice location. Seems like a great place I have noticed each department dont work together as a team they just push it off to each other. The guys that are in dairy are always willing to help/ produce as well.front end is always Unaware of products and also pushes you off to go find a employee in each department versus helping you and being a team player for their store and fellow colleagues. I will unfortunately not mention any names but I think this is an area your store and team members should grow in helping each other out and not push off customers to find other employees for help. I have been to this location about 5 times there are good people and also bad ones based on my next experience I will update review and star thanks again to the kind and hard working people at this location.

Their parking lot is like a maze trying to get out. The store is always clean, and I am there a few times a month. For some reason, they are always out of 1% Organic Valley milk; I mean 95% of the time, and Ive been going there for four years. Google has their hours wrong and claim they are closed today (Sunday). Their website says they are open 6 a.m. to midnight every day - including Sunday. While this is a smaller format Cub store, they seem to have everything I want - except for 1% Organic Valley milk.

Now that the store is closed at night I have literally no reason to go there. It was my late night shopping place so I guess Ill just never go back 🤷‍♂️

Customer service here is a 5, the construction and organization due to it is a 4. Overall 4.5. The bakery folks are amazing. Denise in the bakery is an excellent cake decorator. She saved a last minute goodbye gathering. The cake received rave reviews for presentation and taste. Very moist and all around good flavor. I would highly recommend their bakery for needs of gathering and party baked goods - just give a quick call 24 hours or more in advance of when its needed. Thanks again. We will definitely be back.

Favorite grocery store in the area. Very clean, and the lines are never too long.

I saw 8 staff members in the store this morning, only 4 were wearing face masks; the others had them around their necks but not covering their face. One, upon seeing me start down a grocery aisle, put on a face mask. I believe contacting the department of labor is in order. There is no reason to be so lax on wearing masks simply because it is early in the morning and customers are sparse.

The store is organized in an odd manner with narrow isles. Average grocery store with a sometimes annoying parking lot.

I always do my weekly shopping at this cub store . I never go without a list of what I want and what I need. The store is always best and tidy. There are employees always stocking the shelves and neating them up. If I cannot find something I have on my list I can just ask an employee and get my answer or else that employee will walk me over to where that item is located. The employees including the cashiers always have a smile on their face. I would recommend this Cub to anyway looking for a grocery store.plus the prices are good. Sue Gillham.

The Valley West Cub has everything you need. Throughout the night you can shop while overnight employees stock shelves and they clearly are dedicated to their craft by making everything look nice. During the day the employees work just as hard to make sure the stock is kept in tip top shape.

We live just down the road and do all of our shopping here late at night. The staff is always friendly and the store is clean.One big plus is they have a nice vegan section for my girlfriend. (And they have a large meat selection for me aswell.)

I went there to buy produce and bought sumo oranges, 6 of them which costed me almost 20 dollars and I peeled one and it had mold inside of it. I didnt really think much of it as it was just one orange but then I also bought some green and purple grapes and the purple grapes had a cocoon in it!! I was so disgusted Im never buying produce here ever again. I will be buying my produce elsewhere.

Always a clean store, with friendly staff, with quick service! They’re taking precautions for COVID-19, and I appreciate the staff who are working hard in these times!

Out of all the Cubs in the Twin Cities this one has got to have the best managers specials in the meat and cold foods section. I shop at other grocery stores all the time but this cub is my favorite for a reason. I like to save money and I cant tell you all the great deals Ive found here over time because honestly, I dont want to ruin the secret... oh well, now you know too.

Great CUB location!Very good selection of organic and fresh food here.The bakery staff is helpful and nice.The prices are quite good across most items.Its definitely worthwhile to get their reward card.... Youll save tons of money!

I usually am only running in and out for soemthig quick but I can always find what I need and the fried chicken is really good too! I also really like the selfcheck out lanes.

Love this cub. I literally go here every day since I live close by. Fresh produce. Great selection and specials. Plus that cub rewards program for gas, it functions as a way t to redeem any clip out coupon too! Friendly staff as well.

A great grocery store with a nice select of organic foods. Also, they have a great salad and hot bar.

The neighborhood store has unfortunately seen a bit of a decline throughout the years. The partial remodel was great & much needed. $$ are higher than other Cubs with the selection getting smaller, BUT will always continue to support area businesses!

They are in the middle of a remodel right now so its a little torn up, but the staff are very helpful when it comes to finding things, and they have a fairly well stocked natural foods section as well. A lot of the same staff has been here for years which gives it a nice small town vibe. Restrooms are clean and the pharmacy is convenient.

Cub Foods, youre alright. Pretty clean, well stocked, always open. Decent selection at Cub Liquor (not always open because...idk, why cant I get beer at 3am if I want? Laws are funny that way). Nothing special, but if you want special, well, you go to a store that specializes in liquor rather than food.Nice cashiers, although If Im being honest with you, Cub, theres one guy I always avoid because he likes small talk too much. I just want to exchange meaningless pleasantries and get on with my day. I suppose for every introvert like me theres an opposite who enjoys that.If theres one burning, ever present question I have, its this-- why is your hand soap and body wash on the opposite end of the store from your shampoo?

This is probably more of a anti-instacart review than Cub Foods, but both are too blame. The subject at hand today, corn on the cob. Wherever your getting it from, stop. The corn we received from our instacart order today was the worst corn Ive ever seen in my life, how was this put on the shelf to begin with.

Ive come to this Cub hundreds of times. It is almost always very well provision and has what you need in stock. The associates are extremely friendly and helpful. No matter what time of night you come here, or however early in the day it is, you can almost always find it helpful staff member and get what you need.

This is a good store. They are set up well and have nearly everything I buy on a regular basis. Its not always busy, but mostly it is. The employees are nice and are very helpful.

Moved here from Hot Springs, Ar about a year ago. Ive tried different stores but Cub is my store now.. Very friendly employees , always helpful. Great Deli and Bakery. Really nice produce. I like this store.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Started shopping other places and started feeling better. Spur of the moment at me at Cub again to pick up some milk. Got home, had some and woke up sick again. They have expired food on their shelves and they dont care to look. Milk expired on August, 24th. OVER A WEEK AGO. I get it, I should check expiration dates too. But seriously... you dont check your shelves? Had a cashier check my moms food once, because she said that shes used to seeing mold on it.Get better standards, Cub.

Good store with fresh fruits and veges. Nice staff apart from this one chap by the name CHRIS K.who is very disciminative, mean and racist. He really disrespected and embarrassed me yesterday when i went for shopping. Pls management do something about that, we are all the same people only the skin color is different.

Some good Norske Fisk selections here that you just cant find elsewhere in America. The Olsen creamy dill herring cutlets is absolutely to die for!

Magnificent and good price for food

Ordered online through Instacart; there was a bit if a mixup with the app so it had taken longer than expected, but the manager came out personally with my groceries to apologize, and was very courteous and respectful. Wonderful customer service, and they could not have handled the situation better.

Was ok not like the old cub. All new people no one to help u walk a mile to find someone to help you. Or call on your phone to have someone to help you

My most vivid memory of Cub Foods is from shortly after I returned to Minnesota from living in Paraguay. I needed a bar of soap. Stepping into the appropriate isle I was paralyzed by the huge selection and the fact that at minimum I had to buy a multi-pack of soap. If the US is your only experience of the world we live in, you should be aware that not everyone is so fortunate to have access to all the things the average North American takes for granted on a daily basis.

A bit proud (VERY PRICEY) of their merchandise... kinda like 7-11 or a Kwik Trip pricing(no offense to those stores as THEY are convenience stores) without the convenience. Bring extra money. Just try and get out of there with out spending $100 - good luck.

This place is well organized, stuff is, for the most part, easy to find. Nice selection of items, fresh fruit and produce, friendly employees. A great place to run a quick errand or to do a big grocery run

Employee work ethic is awful. Today, going down the middle of the lane, the employee who was pushing carts decided to give another employee a ride. They were laying on their back on top of the carts, as they went down the middle of the lane. It was busy, yet they didnt seem to have anything better to do than get paid for laying around.

Today was unusual because of the refinishing of their floor and rearranging if all of the produce. They keep it very clean even with remodeling happening and the staff are very helpful and courteous. Thanks Cub foods!!

Runs out of a lot of produce like fresh watermelon etc.

A good experience, except for one thing...I live near this cub, and have went there for 3 years. The place is fairly sized, and has a good collection. The employees are nice enough, and the bakery is amazing. The problem comes when you need shopping acestence. My mom is blind, and I come with her to that store, when she would usally go herself. This is because the people there hate the idea of being a shoppers assistant, and are even downright rude about it.

Deli department was a nightmare as usual. Last week I went to get a pound of smoked turkey...got home, label said smoked turkey. Inside was peppered turkey. So, I go back this week and noticed that their signage was wrong. They had been selling their peppered turkey for 5.99. Which should have been smoked turkey for 5.99. Their price for peppered had been 8.99. I tried to bring this to their attention. But I must have been speaking Japanese. Their deli department has been one got mess for years now. (I live right aross the street)... Horrible customer service. (they are actually rated as the worst Cub in Mn. In this region). They simply dont care. If you want better service try the one on Lyndale South.

Simply the worst Cub Foods I’ve been in. Poorly laid out, not a lot of help, and the front checkout area is a nightmare even when just moderately busy. I miss our Rosemount store - and the next closest one in Burnsville is just as nasty as this one. There’s Festival and Lund’s nearby ...not perfect either...but a very nice Aldi’s and Fresh Thyme on days I’m ok driving five minutes further away. Utterly disappointed!

Its after 11 p.m. & there are no lights on in the Cub parking lot. I told the first cashier I see and he says thats Krause Andersons responsibility. I asked him to repeat himself because I didnt think he was really passing the buck like that. No, thats what he said. So I looked at him and I said I dont care, this is Cub, thats the Cub parking lot. I came here to shop late at night and I want to feel safe. As your customer, thats your responsibility. He just looked at me, dumbfounded. And I told him that was a terrible response, then walked away. What happened to Im sorry maam, Ill notify mgmt right away.?!This is why Ill drive 5 miles away to shop at Walmart in Burnsville, than go a block away from home to the Valley West JERRYS Cub. Too bad for me I forgot to get TP at Walmart.
