Beautiful workout space with very diligent Covid protocols - I feel very safe exercising here. During the shut down they helped me with some remote training too. The team has been great in helping me achieve my strength and fitness goals (Anna and Chris in particular). Highly recommended!

Ive been using Urban Fitness Studio for years. Ive been able to build strength and flexibility. Most recently, I have been doing the midday mobility with Dillon, to improve balance and flexibility and keep my body from getting tight. He is amazing! I feel completely refreshed and limber and confident when I leave the studio. Everyone in the studio is caring and thoughtful. Its a great place to improve your body no matter what your current fitness level is.

I’m so happy I’ve found a great place like Urban Fitness Studio. I’ve being working with Anna and now Brittany who are both great! I always feel so supported and love my workouts. They keep me motivated and encouraged. I love including yoga with Anna in my week as well. I can’t imagine going any where else. I’m so happy I found a place that makes me feel strong and supported

Wonderful! Ive trained at UFS for almost 5 years and it has always been a very positive experience. Chris is a fun and patient trainer who pushes me to get stronger but also works within my needs/limits. Annas yoga classes are also great! The studio is lovely, clean and comfortable, and there is easy street parking.

Yoga at Urban Fitness, Bloomington, is the perfect mix of mind and body care. Anna leads the class with varied positions, with kind help and encouragement. Its easy to start yoga here. Ive wanted to for a long time. So glad I found this studio!

You wont find a more welcoming studio or Yoga practice in Bloomington. Anna is by far the most caring, compassionate and encouraging yoga teacher I have ever encountered. If you have a chance to try out one of her yoga classes or workshops I encourage you to do so!

The Hybrid Program is perfect for me because I want to be able to work out in my own time at home and at my gym, but I need someone to guide me and keep me accountable so I know that Im going about it the right way. Ashley has been awesome at helping me with proper form, learning new workouts and motivating me along the way!

I worked with Anna for 3 weeks to improve my yoga practice and develop an at-home practice. She was encouraging, calming, and provided such a positive class. I am enjoying my at-home practice and have applied all that I learned from her to the yoga classes that I continue to take. Anna was wonderful to work with and Urban Fitness Studio is a beautiful place to practice.

A great place to work out. Chris is a fantastic trainer who continually gets me doing new exercises to keep it challenging. The studio is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for individualized training.

Training with Anna at Urban Fitness Studio has been one of the most wonderful and rewarding experiences that I have had living in Bloomington, and the level of personal care and attention that I have received is unlike any other. I am so much stronger now, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well, and Anna has been central to that development. I cannot say enough great things about the studio, it is a gem!

Nothing but great things to say about Urban fitness! Personalized attention without the feel of a gym. I started their about 7 months ago. 30lbs and 6% body fat lost in the process. Ive never felt or looked better. Love working with Carly. She really motivates me to push as hard as I can and is great with mixing things up. Cannot recommend her enough.

I’ve been going to the yoga classes since I moved to Bloomington in the fall. I get a great workout at the Monday class and good self-care stretching on Thursdays. What I love almost as much is the community of students (mostly women, though not exclusively). Anna has a spirit that inspires me every class to be my best self, and that spirit flows over to create a sense of care and bonding among the rest of us. Already by my second class, I felt like I’d been going to UFS for years. Could not recommend more. I have worked with Anna as my personal trainer for almost 5 years. She is terrific, talented and knowledgeable. I have been challenged, encouraged, comforted, and occasionally indulged if I show up to one of our training sessions tired, injured, or just worn out. Most importantly, she really listens and sometimes hears things I havent even said out loud. She is a constant source of advice, motivation, and instruction. A life changer.

I have been training twice a week with Dillon for over a year and keep getting stronger. Having had polio and now osteoporosis we work on balance and strength. The sessions are fun but also challenging.

I have been going for years — first for personal training and de-stressing, later added in yoga. This has been my haven— I’ve become stronger, taller (yes for real! Better posture) and calmer. The yoga is fantastic, challenging and relaxing. The personal training is personalized and incentivizing. This is the highlight of my day. I have learned to breathe freely and deeply. It’s liberating and exhilarating. Nothing is better than this!

Carly is truly an amazing trainer. I went from never working out to working with her three times a week on strength training, and added in cardio on my own. Carly is fantastic at getting people motivated, and I became much stronger, and also more toned, from working with her. I have since moved away from Bloomington, but wish I could have taken this studio with me! The positivity, determination, and encouragement shown by this staff is second to none. I cant recommend this studio enough. The partner training sessions are also very fun!
