This one star reviews are random nonsense. I trained here while in Bloomington for business school and I loved it. Dax is an awesome instructor and it was a great group of guys when I was there. Isaac is one of the weirdest people Ive ever met, but hell make you feel even better about yourself which is always a plus. Go for the Jiu Jitsu, stay for the opportunities to say hurtful things to Isaac.

Dax is very knowledgeable instructor with a unique way of thinking about and teaching. He has both black belts in Judo and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. The gym is small and immaculate. The guys who train there are a fun and rowdy bunch who are tight group, but very open to new comers. If you want to learn and train this is the best spot in Bloomington.

Wont get better training anywhere else. Effective techniques are taught for anyone looking to compete or self defense - both on the ground and standing. Also great implementation of equally effective traditional techniques which surprise the competition, and give you a definitive edge at tournaments. Lastly, excellent focus on using technical movements to establish control, allowing your opponents to feel all your evilness with minimal effort!

Trained here the two years I lived in Bloomington. I really enjoyed the company of the small group and the unique vibe they had there. Dax is a great guy.

Great gym that I’ve enjoyed being a part of for years. The atmosphere is laid back, but the training is serious. High level instruction in all aspects of grappling. Many of the upper belts have extensive competition experience.

Excellent instruction with a solid group of training partners. Dax has years of experience in grappling and is an encyclopedia of technical details. The classes are laid-back and friendly, but the instruction points are all top-notch.The group is a good group who will help you become a better grappler. If you show up, it should be pretty clear right off the bat whether this is the school for you or not.As a final comment, Im a bit surprised to see low reviews with either no comments or else comments that dont seem to correspond to anything, um, real. I can safely say, however, that people with the time to form coherent reality-based sentences all seem to like the club.Hope to see you on the mats.

No Doubt, this is the best BJJ gym in B-Town, and even one of the best gyms in Indiana. The people train hard and have fun at the same time in the gym and Dax is an experienced instructor with brilliant sense of humor and patient. As my personal experience, I met many great people in this gym, and this gym definitely makes my college life better and gives me unforgettable memory!

Fun group of people to train with that have lots of knowledge to share. I dropped in to check out an open mat and they offered me a gi to train in and let me join them on the mat.

The best place in town to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. At a very fair price, you can have fun and train hard. Its a really cool group and Dax is an exceptional teacher that keeps it entertaining! Come in and change your life!
