Nothing against the doctors (because I didn’t interact with them) but the receptionist and person who drew my blood were SO rude. My doctor sent a referral for me to get an ultrasound done after my miscarriage. Upon arrival at this office the receptionist informed me I would just be getting blood drawn and I clearly looked confused so she said “well that’s all I have an order for” so I said okay and sat down. While waiting I called my doctor and asked them why I was doing blood work because I was told I was doing an ultrasound. The nurse at my office checked and said she didn’t understand because my physician put in an order for an ultrasound. At this point someone came out to get me. I had stepped out to the hall because I was talking about my miscarriage and didn’t want to upset the pregnant women in the room. The nurse looked visibly annoyed that she had to come get me. On the way back I asked why I was getting blood work done she very rudely *rolled her eyes at me* and said with a terrible attitude said “did you get a positive test?” I said extremely upset at this point “I had a miscarriage” instead of apologizing she said “yeah, they’re going to want to check that.” So I left and stop at the receptionist desk and ask if I need to check out with her and with as much attitude as the nurse she says I don’t know who you are or why you’re here and I said my name is Nikki and she gets an even bigger attitude and says what’s your last name. At this point, I’m so upset, I just say “okay, great. Have a great day” and spend the next 20minutes crying in my car.

Was told to arrive at 8:45. Line to sign in down the hall. One check in person. Checked in by my appt time at 9:15. 30 minutes later still waiting. No notice by check in staff of any delays which would have been nice when I arrived. When I asked they said “well with everything going on we are short of rooms”. What does that mean?. Decided to cancel and seek another office. Would suggest if you have to schedule a work day off and have other appts to clarify in check n if they are on time.

First time there.Everyone at the office was very nice & kind. Didn’t have to wait a long time. My nurse practitioner was very sweet & easy to talk to. Dr Summer Appling is a 30 something young lady who is kind, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. So glad I found an awesome gynecologist ❤️

My wife and I went in for ultrasound and after was told to wait for the doctor to speak with us. We had to wait 45 minutes until we decided to leave then they called us after seeing we had gone. Place is absolutely ridiculous

Kind staff and wonderful services! My Nurse Practitioner, Danielle Benedeck, is absolutely WONDERFUL! If you have anxiety/past trauma/are going to the gyno for the first time/etc, I would recommend seeing her! She’s incredible at making you feel safe, comfortable, and heard. One note: ARRIVE EARLY, or do your paperwork online!

Doctors were very sweet and listened to all my concerns. The check out Nurse was not helpful in the slightest, couldn’t even help me plan to come up for my appointments from Evansville IN.

Last fall, I scheduled an appointment here. As many other reviews have stated, if you do not show up earlier enough before your appointment, they turn you away. This happened to me. I had scheduled about 3 months before my appointment, so I will admit I forgot about the option to do paperwork online. I got there about 10 minutes before, and they said they would ask my doctor if she still had the time to see me, and she said no. While rescheduling me at the front desk, the doctor came out and was chit chatting with the front desk staff for a good few minutes. She definitely had the time to see me, just used this as an excuse for a break. I scheduled my new appointment for a month and a half out. It got closer to the appointment, and I got no reminders. The day of, I called and asked if I did have an appointment that day. They told me the only appointment they saw was a month ago and that I was a no show. I made another appointment, but later decided to cancel because I did not trust going to a place that was unprofessional like this.

I was having a panic attack and they kept forcing a mask and I couldn’t breathe and now I have bruises on my arm where they were dragging me around to throw me out when I had an appointment that day with a surgeon that day.

Amazing doctors, great nurses, wonderful staff. There’s going to be a wait, as with every other doctor’s office. However, I would wait here to see these doctors as opposed to getting in somewhere else really quick and seeing any other doctor. All of the doctors genuinely care and the nurses always ask me if I have any questions or concerns for the doctor so the doctor is prepared when they talk to me. There’s not a single doctor at this office that I did not like.

Terrible experience here. First time patient, I got there early with my paperwork completed ahead of time as instructed. Unfortunately, there are no signs for where this office is on McIntire Drive. I drove around for 10 minutes, calling the office to let them know I was having trouble finding the office, no answer. When I found it, I arrived at the reception at 3:35 for my appt at 3:35. I was told that I had to reschedule because I was too late. No exceptions were made and I decided not to reschedule although the office/ doctors were recommended to me by others. Going to have to find a new doctor not associated with IU Health/ SIP Womens Center. Very disappointed in the experience.

The communication in this office is so frustratingly poor. The nurses do not know how to properly triage patients so they keep calling back with more questions from the provider. This back and fourth game goes on for awhile before making any kind of decision on what’s going on.The receptionists are always cold, rude and uninviting. When you have to have an appointment with a GYN/OB it can be very sensitive which that concept seems to have been forgotten about by staff.

Blemish on the IU Health reputation! A year ago a family member scheduled an appointment as a new patient and first available was 4 months out. After waiting those 4 months she arrived 10 minutes before her appointment but was TURNED AWAY because new patients are required to arrive 30 minutes before; after waiting for the appointment she was told shed have to reschedule. And now that Im moving and need to transfer my records, their voicemail says that I must physically bring the required form into their office and that it wont be processed until at least 30 days at best. This, in spite of IU Healths own website indicating that their goal is to process medical record requests within 5 days and providing a fax number. Fortunately I called the help number on IU Healths website and reached an office that could see the records, provided me an email to submit the request, and said they could process the records and return them to me in less than 5 days. While Ive always been happy with the nurse practitioners (like Schick), getting to the point of seeing them and taking care of records is a nightmare.

Very unhappy with this office. I had an appt at 8:30, left my home early because it is over an hour drive. They did tell me that I needed 20 min to fill out paperwork. The roads were icy and there was a wreck on the highway that got me behind. I arrived at 8:20, 10 min before my appointment and the receptionist tells me I need to reschedule because I needed 20 min to fill out my paperwork. I explained the weather, that I am over an hr drive and took off work, nope had to reschedule. They were very unprofessional about the situation and being a new patient I did not reschedule, in fact called another office in my network. I find it alarming that a Doctor could not emphasize with the situation. I was not late for my appointment, just only had 10 min to fill out paperwork rather than 20. To add, someone came out to tell me to Have a nice day as the elevator was closing. Rude and very unprofessional.

I switched to this office to get away from the SIPWomens office on 2nd St. The 2nd St location is absolutely horrible. I have been very impressed with this office on McIntire. It has already been so much better than the other location. I definitely recommend women come to this office opposed to the location on 2nd St.

STAY FAR AWAY! Your average wait time will be at least 1-2 hours (I was there 3 last time) and most of the doctors dont want to spend any more than 5 minutes w/ you (Stafford is the only exception). Heaven forbid you ask a question (either by nurse or by doctor) -- theyll treat you like youre an imbecile. I discovered the hard way why no one has recommended this practice. I am transferring to a new OB practice mid-way through my pregnancy because Im not comfortable going here.

Ive been here at least 3 times when someone elses urine sample was left behind the little door in the bathroom. Once there were THREE and mine barely fit. Not only is that disgusting because theyre open containers, its a HIPPA violation because the stickers have patients names and DOBs on them. Ive also seen labeled sample viles just sitting on the counter while I wait for the doctor. Im currently waiting on tests results Ive been calling about for a week with no response. The medical staff is fine but the whole place seems very disorganized. My unborn baby deserves better but no one else is taking patients.

Hard to work with, arent flexible at all.
