Per the websites explicit suggestion (see photo), I called to ask about the emergency department wait times as I have a 103 fever—the woman who answered was patronizing and said “we don’t do that”. Will not be going here as I had a bad experience before I even entered the door.

I live not to far from the Monroe County Hospital Emergency Room. Ive had the occasion to bring my wife and myself to this facility seeking medical attention. Having been a first responder for a significant part of my professional life. Being a real person instead of an internet avatar. Having had real medical condition (my wife as well), and having received real care from real doctors and nurses, for what I thought was a stroke or possible heart attack, I can say the following:1) The care was first rate. The nursing staff was attentive, kind, compassionate, and knew their stuff. One stick for blood draws, nearly painless.2) The doctors knew their medicine. Gave me a credible diagnosis. EKG, CT and MRI all done with speed and accuracy. The radiologist was on time, very informative, and funny to relax me while I was being scanned. I am a big guy fitting into a small space.3) I am a Veteran! They acknowledged my service. They processed the VA paperwork painlessly. They had me seen by a doctor within minutes of arriving.I can confidently say, that Ive been to a number of hospitals throughout my career. Ive brought people to hospitals (kids, friends, suspects, accident victims) and this small, conveniently located ER visit was text book, what I would consider an excellent place to bring someone who is experiencing a medical emergency.Oh, I should also mention, clean, food was great, the Administrator came to see me personally and checked to ensure I was well taken care of. Everyone had an awesome bedside manner and they figured out what was wrong with me, and sent me home with an appropriate solution.Please ignore the trolls who are paid to write negative reviews. I am a real person, local, and a real customer of this fine hospital and their attentive, conscientious staff. You are in good hands when coming here, trust me. AND, if you have any other experience, you know exactly who I am and I am easy to find, which is always an infinitely more trust worthy review than someone whose name is handy cap.
