I have really bad anxiety going to the dentist and they really helped me feel comfortable here! Everyone here was so kind from the receptionists to the doctor. They were very helpful at explaining everything to me and I didnt feel judged but felt like they really wanted to help me. They also didnt seem to push for more unnecessary treatments but explained some things I thought about werent actually needed and would save me money not going that route. Now instead of being a nervous wreck going to the dentist, Im actually looking forward to my future appointments with Julie and Dr. Piper!

This dental office is how it’s supposed to be! The staff is sooo friendly and accommodating. The hygienist was helpful and gentle, and the dentist was thorough and informative. I can’t recommend this office enough!!

Dr. Piper was great. I have always had dental issues and use an upper and lower partials. He took the time to craft the dentures so that they match and even work well with my overbite. He made sure I had the proper alignment and it took extra visits to get it right before he molded the final set. I am extremely pleased and can now eat everything again. The staff was super and so pleasant

Affordable Dentistry’s staff are friendly, helpful and professional. They are observing Covid guidelines. When I arrived for my appointment, all staff were masked and wore face shields. They practiced physical distancing to the degree possible (difficult in small exam rooms and, obviously impossible while having the exam). I observed the assistant wiping down the lead X-Ray shield after it was on me so it would be disinfected for the next patient.

I drive 1 1/2 hours to this dentist office & it is well worth it!! The dentist & staff are great! They always let me decide if I want them to do more than what I came in for if more is needed. They always let me know what they are doing before they do it, & they make sure I am plenty numb before they start! I can put everything on my Care Credit card so I never have to worry about having the money right then! Affordable Dentistry Today in Bloomington IL is the best dentist office & I highly recommend them!

I went in due to severe pain. The doctor was very concerned and sent me to a oral hygienist. If you are looking for a good dentist to start going to, this is the place hands down.

My 11 y/o son was super anxious about going to the dentist. We were greeted by friendly staff and I loved that the hygienist that was taking care of him explained the X-ray’s and 3D X-ray was super cool. She took the time to go over things and when he left said “‘mom I liked her a lot” I was also grateful they took care of all of our needs during that visit rather than make us come back for another appointment. I would definitely recommend them.

I think the staff is overall professional and nice. Was helpful in providing tips on how to take care is teeth. I like how the hygentists are personable. I think the dentist does a good job. I think he could be more personable. It’s nice when the dentist takes the time to get to know you or at least make a little small talk so that you don’t feel Iike you’re just a patient. It’s all in the small things.I like that the office did some updates. The place looks nice. Overall I liked my experience.

Worst dentist EVER!!!!! he totally messed up my daughters teeth. Cracked one of her molars, and drilled into the nerver on right side of mouth her teeth are painful, sensitive and she is unable to eat on the right side of her mouth. When he came into the room his clothes were stained with food and he smelled. he ought to be closed down

Every appointment I’ve had has gone smoothly. The front desk staff are incredibly nice and friendly, and I’ve never had any problems making appointments with them. The hygienists and dental assistants are very patient and always willing to answer questions about treatments. Doctor is very kind and funny, and my appointments have always been quick and efficient. All around an absolutely lovely team!

My first visit here, i have had very little dental experience on the whole, all with high levels of anxiety. They were genuine and friendly like you belonged there. i had never had a cleaning and didn’t even realize it wasn’t painful in any way. They explained things like i was a person (i have had a few dentists talk to me with condescension) and totally put my mind at ease! i chose them because they work with you even if they don’t take your insurance and when you’re there they don’t treat you differently because of your insurance. i have plans to go back for some serious dental work and have absolutely no trepidation.

I personally have had years of dental work through the years and to be honest Affordable dental is the best dental office I have experienced. Dr Piper, to me, has always been extremely kind, patient, very knowledgeable and has recommended nothing but the best treatment plan for me. I just moved to this area and needed a new dentist. I’m glad I chose Affordable Dentistry. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, from the front office staff to the hygienist and dentist. I was there for a cleaning. Amber was my hygienist and she did a great job with no discomfort.

I love the staff. They were very professional, the place was clean, very up to date in technology, etc. The greatest thing about my visit was the fact that they understood my fear of the dentist and talked me through it, including all the procedures, what they were evaluating, and my options moving forward. Despite the fact that I havent visited the dentist in a while, they didnt judge and wholeheartedly understood my anxiety.

I express the urgency to be out of the office by 7:45 due to a work commitment. The staff were friendly and accommodating my request. The staff also acknowledged my interest in bringing a toy to donate to get the additional 10% off my co-pay which was kind. I agreed to return tomorrow at 7 AM and drop off the toys for tots. The staff are wonderful!! I felt comfortable and not judged due to my teeth are in very bad shape. Dr. Piper made me relaxed and was very informative on the steps to take to get my dentures.

I had a crown come off this past weekend. I left a message with the office I was called first thing Monday and was able to get an appointment early Tuesday morning. The crown was put back in place and all is super. I haven’t been to the dentist in a few years now. Due to insurance we have bounced around since my last visit to Affordable Dentistry. I am very happy to be returning to the practice. Every one there is amazing, both friendly and helpful. Also, Dr Piper is a tremendous dentist.

I had a broken tooth. No one was able to help me for two days. So I called and set up an appointment. They called the next day to let me know they had a cancellation and got me in and fixed up with awesome speed and were super friendly the whole time!

My total cleaning experience was awesome and perfect. She knew exactly what she was doing and there was absolutely no discomfort at all. The dentist is my favorite of all times. I have been seeing him for a few years now and he knows everything about what needs to be done or not to be done. Being a diabetic and with heart problems they are perfect for me. I was very pleased with the service of this dental office. I arrived to find that I had actually scheduled an appointment with another office. They were gracious enough to call the other office which neglected to write my appointment down. This office amended their schedule to clean my teeth and replace my crown that had fallen off. I really dont know where to begin in sharing the excellent handling of my situation by Dr. Piper and his associates. Dr. Piper has been my dentist for the past several years and I have never felt so taken care of with the care he and his staff have given me. I am now in the final phase of needed dental work and have no worries about the procedure and know I am in good hands!

I was a new patient with them this week. The building is easy enough to find and has ample parking. Inside is well lit and most importantly, clean. The desk staff immediately greeted me, they were really friendly. The equipment used to do my dental xrays and imaging equipment was super clean and well maintained. My hygienist Amber was absolutely lovely and caused me no discomfort during my visit. My visit with the dentist Dr. Piper was brief but he was professional and seemed to be a nice person.The only issue I have is that payment is due in full at the time of the service. Dentistry can be expensive and maybe a payment plan on larger bills would be easier on the wallet of the customer. (Like 9ther medical bills) But this is a problem with dentist offices as a whole and did not affect my rating.

I went for my 6 month cleaning today and was in and out of there in 30 minutes! My very pleasant and friendly hygienist was Julie and she did a wonderful job cleaning and polishing my teeth, as well as doing the oral cancer screening and finishing up with an application of fluoride. Dr. Piper was also his usual pleasant self, asked how I was doing and also did an oral cancer screening. Julie made sure I didn’t leave without my goodie bag filled with a new toothbrush, floss, 2 kinds of toothpaste, mouthwash, and my appointment card for my next visit. Finally, the very friendly, personable receptionist Jillian checked me out and wished me a wonderful rest of my evening. I’ve been going there somewhere between 10-15 years and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else! They are so personal and friendly and really go out of there way to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

I appreciate their concern for your comfort as well as their focus on a successful procedure. I recommend Affordable Dentistry for all your dental needs.

**Follow up** November, 2018I unexpectantly had to have two teeth extracted. I walked into the office anxious and apprehensive. Dr Piper and his staff were extremely patient and supportive. The experience didnt last long and was virtually painless. I cant recommend this facility enough.July, 2018The staff was friendly and welcoming. They made the experience of getting a filling as comfortable as it can be. Not an ounce pain just some mild discomfort that didnt even last a minute. Dr Piper was thorough and efficient. He had me out of the chair in no time. I think the whole experience from check in to check out was maybe 35 minutes or less. Would highly recommend.

They are very professional. Haven’t been to a dentist in 20 years. I was afraid going in, because I knew it would be rough. But they helped me come up with a plan and now my teeth are in much better shape. 😁

They always do a great job! Stephanie originally was the assistant whom cleaned my teeth, but it’s been Shaquita for the last 2-3 years; both were great! Doctor Piper is pretty cool too, he stops in the restaurant that I work at every once in a while. No complaints!

Staff has always been helpful and courteous, even when I keep asking questions about what is what on my dental X-rays. My first experience was going in for a cracked molar and they were able to see me right away and fix it that day.

The staff and Dentist were excellent , but . . .. . . Someone with dental insurance is expecting to pay nothing for a cleaning and exam. The hygienist tried to sell me an extra, and the front desk tried to slide another $26 charge when I checked out. If you are not in the Delta Dental PPO, please contact them and have yourself taken off the list.

The office staff are very welcoming and friendly when I come in and the Doctor is great. He gives me advise on what’s best for me and he doesn’t try to make more money for him he’s more into helping the safety and the best interest for his patients. He has treated my son and myself now for a couple years and he’s been great.
