Susan, the owner, is so great! I have personally taken pottery classes at the studio, and have worked with Susan though my job as well, as she supplied mugs for a promotional order. I originally was looking for a fun new hobby, creative outlet, and way to meet new friends. Her studio was the perfect place to do all of that. Susan is very helpful and friendly, and the other members of the studio are welcoming to new people. And when we ordered mugs from her studio for my job, Susan was super flexible, helpful, and quick to fulfill the order. I now count Susan and multiple people that I met at the studio as lifelong friends.

Had our daughters birthday party here. Susan was very accommodating and walked us through the process, selecting price points, etc. Day of party she let us come a few minutes early to set up and get ready. Susan taught the kids the process of painting on the glaze and helped as needed. Pieces can be picked up a few days later. Wonderful experience for the kids. We were very satisfied. There are open studio times, classes / workshops for adults and teens. She also offers various classes and camps for kids. Susans own work is magnificent.

Great place to play with clay! The owner Susan is very kind, knowledgeable, and patient! All ability levels can find something enjoyable here and there are a lot of creation options to choose from. You can pick from a wide variety of pre-made pieces to paint, throw on the wheel, use the slab roller, and design your own creations with many other cool tools offered! Susan offers classes for adults and children, special workshops, as well as open studio drop-in hours! You can even reserve the studio for private parties and classes! Definitely a great creator space worth trying out!

I love this studio! You can drop in and just paint a piece of bisque ceramic if you want to you can take classes and learn how to paint or learn how to make and paint. The prices are very reasonable and considering who teaches this class if you can get in you should definitely do so. This studio fills a need in our community, there are even some local artist that come to learn from her and to use her studio. We would be lost without her and the Pottery House Studio. Theres also kid classes available and summer sessions when schools out and there are even sessions for people who are on a homeschool schedule.

My daughter and I dropped in on a Saturday open session we got there near opening hour and we were the only ones there. Susan took time to explain not only some beginning techniques but the theory behind the skills. We had such a good time and didn’t feel rushed at all. She graciously let us try again when things when wrong and gave us help to correct our mistakes. We had a great time and would highly recommend this for anyone who likes to get their hands dirty.

Very laid back atmosphere where you are surrounded by artists who are working on new and exciting techniques, with a teacher who is really committed to you being successful and proud of your work. Come in for a class or drop by on a Saturday to get your feet wet. For all skill levels.
