Taylor has to be one of the best hairstylist out there. She knows how to get the exact color and look you want. She listens and delivers. She is great and so is Studio M.

I absolutely love this salon! I have been going to Haley for months now and I have sent all my friends in Bloomington her way, and no one ever has anything negative to say. She is always punctual, does a wonderful job, is positive and uplifting, and most importantly...gives the best scalp massage. All the other stylists are also friendly to you when you come in :) I would recommend this salon to anyone in the area!

My daughter and I went here for the first time today and loved it! Our stylist was very friendly and welcoming. The salon is beautiful. We both just got haircuts and were very happy with it. Best hair cut Ive had in years. Jessica was our stylist and did a great job and explained stylings tips for our cuts. Im actually looking forward to getting my hair cut now! I cant say enough good things!

Beautiful new hair studio. Its a nice urban chic atmosphere, but the place is small enough that it doesnt feel overwhelming. Kelly is extremely skilled in adding interest to my long, straight hair. Shes smart and creative and refreshingly passionate about her work. Shes on top of the trends, and her cuts are careful and unhurried. (She did my wedding hair too, and I felt like an elven queen, in a good way. It was perfect.) Highly recommend.

My bridal party went to Studio M for our hair and makeup on my wedding day. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Erin and Kelly did a fantastic job. All of us looked and felt great. We had so much fun! The stylists are very talented and put me, an anxious bride, at ease. I would highly recommend Studio M Salon for wedding hair and make-up!

Studio M is the best!!! Love going there because Maria works magic on my hair. The shop is clean with lots of sunshine pouring in the big windows. Parking is Bloomington meters, so I always find a convenient spot. Cant go wrong at Studio M. I

Studio M is classy, fun, and conveniently located. Each of the stylists are excellent and they are always learning the newest skills. As soon as you walk in you will know youre in a classy establishment!

Let’s see where do I start? With the lying owner or the stylist who can’t keep her appointments straight?! I would give them 0 stars if I could. On Monday morning, July 16th I email studio M salon about making an appointment because the website said closed on Mondays. I get an email response back quickly from the owner, Maria. She tells me she will forward my information to two stylist and one of them will get in touch with me. Not long after I get an email from Jessica (a stylist there) in the email she says can you do tomorrow at 5:30? I said yes I can. She proceeds to tell me to text her so she can put me in. So we text. All which I have copies of....we talked about what I’m having done to my hair. Almost $400 worth of things...I drive from Bedford up there today. You have to pay to park, walk in. Finally Maria comes up to me and asks me who my appointment is with and I said Jessica. She said we don’t have a Jessica that works here. Are you sure you’re in the right place. I said yes but let me check my email, maybe I remembered her name wrong. I’m horrible with names. Maria said what are you having done. I told her and she said oh yea I remember talking with you and I told you Jessica or Hailey would email you. NOW...there is the first red flag?! She just lied to my face and told me they don’t have a Jessica that works there! What kind of business owner is she if she is lying to people! Then she proceeds to ask Jessica (who was there) if she had this appointment. She said no it was for tomorrow. So I show them the email and said you said Tuesday at 530. Then she asked me if I can do Wednesday, I said no I have to work now. Can you do Thursday, and I said only if I can first thing and Maria said no it would have to be evenings. That’s when I got mad and said never mind I’ll go somewhere else. Stay far away from this place! It’s dumpy and dirty inside, barely no seating, and the owner is a liar. I will be sure I’m spreading the word about this place and I’m glad to give my money to some other salon. NOT ONLY did I waste my gas and money to pay to park but I wasted my time on my day off which are few and far between.

Maria is the best!!! I moved to Bloomington over a year ago and reluctantly reached out to Studio M via email. I’d been doing box color on my own for so many years after having kids that I was too embarrassed to even step foot in a salon after I’d done that much damage to my hair - but I’m SO happy that I reached out to them. Maria immediately answered all of my questions about color and extensions, while they are an investment, it has been so worth it. Now with newfound confidence and constant compliments on my hair, I always look forward to going to the salon. And Maria is absolutely lovely to talk to, very grateful client here! :)

I wish I could move Erin to Florida for me!!!! I have known her from 3 different salons and was SO happy when she opened Studio M! Multi-talented with hair color and cut. Im blonde but Ive been both blonde and brown with her - both look natural! If you are someone who loves to get your hair colored but NOT look like its colored, Erin will HOOK. YOU. UP. Shes the bomb dot com. Shes also extremely good at taking direction with cuts. Now my mom uses her since I moved and Im so jealous. Miss you Erin! Xoxo
