I have only been here 2 times, but both were almost excellent experiences. The last visit was for a couples massage with my husband and we had booked it 2 months in advance. However, when we got there they had the appointment mixed up and we ended up waiting an extra 35 minutes to get in the room. After that though, the massages were excellent!

I have been looking for a place to give me a decent haircut since I moved here in 2012, I finally found it!! I love the way they take their time cutting your hair and actually telling you that your hair wont look like the picture you bring in like all other placed do, lol, they all say oh yeah we can do that yet it looks nothing like it and the last hair place I went to didnt even know what Balayge coloring was. So glad I found Fox and Hounds, yes their prices are slightly higher but you get what you pay for!! Wonderful, friendly place 😊

Love coming here to get my hair cut and colored. Katie H does an amazing job. She suggests slight changes to a new cut I ask for so the style will work better with my hair. She’s also been great about adjusting my color as I’ve gotten more greys in 🙈. This salon is more expensive than where I previously went but 100% worth it!!

I have been to many salons, and finally realized I was at the right place when I met Abby Gross. She is personable and professional. Abby makes me feel comfortable and important. Abby has always taken an interest in me and my time and my schedule. If you are looking for the best place for waxing, you’ll never find better than Abby at Fox and Hounds. Abby is why I go to Fox and Hounds. She is great and the office staff is fantastic.

I had my first Brazilian wax today with Jessica and she was EXCELLENT! Ive already made my second appointment with her. Jessica was very professional, easy to talk to and she made me feel really comfortable. Would recommend Jessica to anyone! :-)

I have been coming to Fox & Hounds for years (okay, decades), and I couldnt be happier with their service and expertise. Ken is my go-to hairstylist and is AMAZING, but Ive also had blowouts with Erin and Brooke. Casey is a wonderful nail tech. And all of the masseuses are fantastic! Continuing education is stressed by management, and it shows. Clean, modern, professional. 5 stars all the way!

Amazing experience! I initially called to schedule an appointment and after describing what I wanted, I was told I was to see Brittney. When I got there, Brittney examined my hair and discussed her thoughts and plans. She helped shaped my hair up without cutting too much off the ends. This is HUGE for me as stylists usually cut too much. Also, she styled my hair beautifully! She did everything I wanted and I left with glossy, well-styled hair.

I got my hair done for the first time here with Karen yesterday.. I originally wanted my roots bleached, which were over 4 inches long, but Karen suggested a new trend so i went with it. My appointment was at 1 and Karen took her time making sure my hair was gonna look its best, knowing it was gonna take some time to do.. the salon closed at 4 yet Karen didnt rush through this long process of getting my hair perfect.. she was very sweet & knowledgeable.. I could not believe the end result 😍 my hair has never looked this good and i will never go anywhere else.. the salon is very clean & the staff is very friendly.. i knew the price was gonna be high but it was totally worth it.. Karen spent almost 5 hours working on my hair & I didnt hesitate to give her a $40 tip.. i would highly recommend F & H & the staff here.. thanks again Karen.. you rock

I was quoted the wrong price but the nail technician (Abbey) honored the price I was quoted. Abbey did was extremely professional and did an excellent job. I appreciated she took her time and was very detailed oriented.

I used to think that it mattered if you went to a level four stylist over a level 1 2 or 3, I was sadly mistaken. I have been growing out my bangs for over a year! The lady cut a chunk out of my hair line. I m hoping by next summer they will be grown out. I have had to cut and blend cut and blend for over a year now. The rest of the cut was fine, but after this incident I will not return to fox and hounds. I paid 35 or 40 dollars for my hair to be messed up for the next 2 years!

Wonderful treatment at Fox & Hounds! My 60 minute deep tissue massage by Susan was heavenly! She was just the right amount of talkative, and used the level of pressure I wanted on my really tense areas. Seriously, just get an appointment with her now. You can thank me later 😉

I came in from out of town to get engagement photos done. Mara did my hair and did fabulous! I was very indecisive and she helped me through all of it. Brooke did my airbrush makeup, I would recommend her to anyone. She talks to you the entire time and makes sure everything is what you want!

I absolutely love when I get my hair done here! Brittany is nothing short of a magician! My hair is naturally almost black, thick and wavy and she automatically knows just what to do! She slowly got my hair platinum so it stayed healthy and beautiful! I won’t trust anyone else with my hair! The one time I was unhappy they were awesome, fixed the problem and got me the right stylist for my concerns! I couldn’t be happier!

The express facial was so much more than expected. I thought express meant cutting corners and fast. It was anything but. Total relaxation and my skin felt fabulous! I had a gift certificate and thought I’d try it but now I think I’m hooked!! I’ll be back for more.

Their is no confusion about where my haircut was done. She fixed my hair cut and then cut a chunk out of my hairline when she attempted to angle my bangs I am assuming. Maybe it was 2018 but it feels like a lot longer I have been growing these out. I have pictures of the process. The chunk was cut out above my ear and it is finally below my chin. I have chopped my hair so many times now to try to speed up the process of growing my bangs out and I seriously hate my hair I once loved.

I love Fox and Hounds. Ive had wonderful massages that truly were DEEP tissue rather than a hesitant rubdown by someone afraid to hurt me despite my having paid for a deep tissue massage! Then I got my hair cut and colored. After a horrible experience with a strip mall business -- I had never gone to any other type of place, I used a gift certificate to try F & H. I was nervous because my stylist, Abby, seemed very young, but she had been there 5 years. She created the most FANTASTIC color ever! Looks like my color as a kid. I always get compliments and I feel good about myself.The staff are very kind. No high pressure product sales. The only downside, true of any salon, is that it is WAY more expensive than the strip mall businesses! It was total sticker shock for me. But I would never go back to the other places. Its a case of you get what you pay for. And their prices are totally in keeping with similar grade salons. Sorry this is long, but I never used this level of services before and I hope this helps someone else who might be deciding if its worth it. It was with with Fox & Hounds, anyway. Definitely.

Great salon with friendly staff. Customers are always greeted quickly and offered refreshments in the waiting area. The salon clean, inviting and recently renovated. My husband and I are both loyal clients.

I scheduled my appointment online and my appointment was scheduled for today at 4:15. I show up get checked in and the receptionist states that the online system only gave me a 15 minute time when booking my appointment. This wasnt the issue she told me that if I was okay with having someone else do my hair and I said sure thats fine. She then leaves and comes back 15 minutes later and tells me that she misunderstood the manager that they have no spot for me and that theyve been trying to call me all day! Well a mom of 5 works fulltime and off today while in kids doctors appointment all day I didnt have my phone on me! Then the receptionist states I missed an appointment sometime last month?? Ive never been here and have never scheduled till this appointment! Very unprofessional. I received a text confirming my appointment and when I explained this to the receptionist she states that our online system has been acting up?? I even tried to ask if they can just do a cut and not color and was told no they dont have time!! Yes Im upset when your a mom and work full time our time is very limited and its wrong to have to leave without any service being offered! I guess this was my 1st and last time at Fox & Hounds!

Every service from waxing to hair cutting and styling has been superb! I wouldnt trust anyone else to work with my hair! What a great experience going there!

I asked for an ombre effect so that my hair could grow out without the roots looking crazy. She assured me it would grow out fine and blended my color so there wouldnt be such a stark difference between my roots and my blonde hair. My hair has grown a lot in the weeks after I left and looked horrible with no ombre and the highlights I had done for blending did not last even a month. I paid almost 200 dollars (no cut, either, just color) and it took hours - which didnt seem necessary as I have very manageable hair that wasnt even at my shoulders. It just wasnt worth the money. The place is also extremely crowded.

I just moved here and was so worried about finding someone who would help keep me blonde. My last stylist in Arizona turned me blue somehow. I have dark naturally curly hair. I dont lift easily. Daylen was so great. The price is amazing as well. After they look at your hair and truly listen to what you are hoping to achieve, they give you a quote before starting any service. I cant say enough good things about this place. The salon is adorable to boot!

I went their to get my nails done, a full set and they didnt use any equipment it was done with nail files. They were uneven and it looked like they used the same nail kit from the store. I paid 50 for work I could have done myself. Nails are definitely not their specialty.

I am from the Chicago area and found myself in Bloomington one weekend. I was looking for a place that gave spa treatments. Found this little jewel Fox & Hounds Day Spa and find myself wondering when Ill have a chance to go back. Great service and friendly staff.

I have been a long time customer of Fox and Hounds. I love my sytlist, Tatyana. She knowsme and my hair. Everyone is friendly and professional. The service is top notch.

Bad customer service and wasn’t happy with the way my hair turned out. Could have managed with the hair but customer service is a deal breaker for me and with what you pay there you would think you’d be treated better than just a number.

Went in for info on color/cut pricing although Id heard from friends that the hairdressers did lousy jobs. My hair is long to my bottom & I couldnt get a straight answer on the price for a single color, no hi-lites. My first impression was that my friends were right, since the 4 staff members I saw at the front desk all had horrible color in their hair that looked like grocery store bought boxed-color.Finally the girl that was helping me said they charged $63 for the initial color, whatever the hell that meant and I ask. She responded that should they need to mix more color to finish the job, there would be additional costs. OBVIOUSLY Id want AND expect them to finish the job! I asked how much extra she was talking about and she hesitated to answer, then finally said it will be ABOUT $25 EACH TIME they had to mix more color. ABOUT $25???? I could see where this was going. I asked her how much color they mix to begin with and she said 1 bottle.I could see that my friends were right. I wouldnt care if shed told me the cost for color would be $300 but she refused to give a straight answer. This was a total joke, not to mention scam and ripoff! My hair is so long, it would take a minimum of 4 or 5 bottles to adequately cover my hair and although my regular salon is pricey, their prices are perfect for a high-end professional color, cut or style thats fit for celebrities. For several years Ive gone to the same salon in Chicago that does a wonderful job. The girls at my salon regular clients are many wives of Cubs baseball players and news anchors. The only drawback for me is the drive this week and I wanted my hair done before Saturday but after listening to this garbage at Fox & Hounds, I decided to make the well-worth-it drive to Chicago and get my hair colored by PROFESSIONALS. At least I know that itll look great and like a professional coloring and not scream I did this myself at home.I shouldve known this was a horrible place, even before I saw the horrible colorings in the 15 minutes I was there. Additionally, the girl at the desk told me that Id have to go to Instagram to see samples of the colorists work. This didnt surprise me since Id called them a little over a year before to see if their staff was experienced in bleaching ethnic hair - Im Italian and my hair is very thick and coarse. I was told they were and a girl told me, Since the hair is hard to bleach, we just have to leave the bleach on longer. When I asked how long she said, About an hour. Yea, umm....ok. Youre not frying MY hair! Obviously, they know NOTHING about the proper technique of bleaching ethnic, dark brown or black hair. I wasnt interested in my hair turning into bubblegum so I had my hilites, many of them almost white, done at my salon in Chicago - they do a great job and will NEVER leave bleach on more than 20 minutes. My natural hair color is black.My advice is to SKIP this place if you want a good, professional color that doesnt scream, CHEAP, STORE-BOUGHT OR SALLYS HAIRCOLOR FROM A SMALL-HICK-TOWN SALON. Im originally from New York City so Im used to having a high-end professional haircoloring, cut and total look. If you dont really care what you look like and youre ok with the cheap-looking hick-town flat hair color or the shoepolish black, like the girl I saw at the counter, then this place is for YOU! If you want to walk around with pride and confidence, knowing you look good, then go somewhere else.Take this advice from a confident woman who cares about what her hair looks like and who has spent $707.00 on a single Brazilian Blowout in a high-end New York City salon!
