This treatment center and the employees changed my life. I was referred to this facility by a close trusted friend when I decided to seek treatment for alcoholism. From the first phone call asking for help, to now; the support, healing, and tools I have received to aid me in my recovery has exceeded all my expectations. The detox facility is beautiful. The group therapy and facilitators are top of the line. I felt that my healing and growth was the utmost priority and I was given a safe and supportive place to address the issues leading to and caused by my addiction. They offered a family weekend that educated family members. Their outpatient therapist Nikolai was incredible, along with several facilitators Dustin, and Dan. I did not meet ONE staff member, including housekeepers, who I did not 100% feel truly cared about my healing and recovery. Their alumni follow-up has surpassed my expectations as well. From a facebook group, and monthly alumni events, to weekly texts checking in to see how I am doing, offering me encouragement and support, and going above and beyond to help former patients who have relapsed find and get into treatment again EVEN when it is NOT their facility. That is what makes this a 5 star facility. The people here saved my life and gave my children their Mom back.

I didn’t know what to expect at Indiana Center for Recovery. It was my first experience in any rehab facility. Immediately I felt like family with the staff, mentors, specialists and peers. I have made genuine relationships here that will stay with me throughout my recovery. Today, I am 32 days sober and never would have been possible without this place. Every morning I started Mediation Dharma recovery which has helped me calm down, slow down and learn the actions behind my mind and motivations in the recovery process. This is one of the greatest coping skills I’m now applying in my routine at home today! I enjoyed the class facilitators and individualized therapy classes. I feel confident in my sobriety journey at home due to my time and knowledge gained there. I feel this is a true blessing from God and cannot thank everyone enough for their dedication to this program and this opportunity for a sober life for myself and my daughters. After a long struggle alone with Alcohol, I made the choice to get some help . Indiana Center for Recovery changed the path I was on. One of the first people I met when I got there was Colin . Not only did he help me while I was there he has stayed in contact with me weekly to check on me and keeps encouraging me . I know I can reach out anytime and he will be there to help . The whole staff was amazing including Sal the owner . He spent one on one time with me and left a lasting impact on my life . I am from Michigan and went to ICFR for treatment in July. This is hands down the most professional treatment facility. From having my own apartment with weekly grocery allowance to going to class Monday Thru Sunday. Busy busy! The field trips were amazing. Zip lining, a park with waterfalls, a buddiest temple, church. Did I mention Bible study with Ted if you want to attend? They also arranged for me to get my second covid vaccine thru CVS. The staff is compassionate,.caring and professional. I learned coping skills, meditation, yoga, exercise with Julias class. The meals were excellent! Taco Tuesday with a loaded taco bar. The center changed my life forever. I formed lifelong friendships. Thank you ICFR!!!

I am extremely grateful for this place existing and the people that work there. The deep dive about the mental and spiritual aspect of my addiction was extremely helpful. The addition and practice of meditation and mindfulness with Colin Troy is something that I am confident will play a huge role in me having a successful recovery. The amount of love they show throughout their program is unreal. From the therapist, caseworkers, the Nurses, Dr. Kane, drivers who pick you up, and of course the Alumni…especially Colin Troy! He and many of the ICFR staff continue to help me with so many little or big things. The ICFR staff have all become a supportive family I didn’t expect to gain. I plan to continue on navigating this healthier way of living everyone Has giving me the skills necessary to succeed. The staff is incompetent will NOT answer your calls or respond to you checking on your child. When you finally get to speak to someone it was as if it was bother. During her 10 days I NEVER spoke with Dr. Kane or the nurse or NP about my childs care. Maren the new Clinical Director had only been there 2 days when I screamed to speak with leadership. The ED Dan is a joke, when they knew I was not buying the lies no one called back even him. Melissa who supposed to be a 20 plus year therapist allows my daughter to call her abuser & supplier, not once but 4 times. Jessica has sold her sold for a dollar. How sad at the hands of our loved ones. This facility will try to manipulate you against your loved one to get more money out of you. DO NOT BELIEVE the RATINGS it is the staff overriding the comments. It is ALL about MONEY for them. They facility hire addicts to take care of addicts. RUN, RUN do NOT trust this place. Again, I am a mother who took her daughter here from another state. My daughter left this facility NO ONE called to follow up or could tell me where she was and was not interested in helping me find her. PLEASE here me, I am telling you, my truth. I’m so thankful for ICFR! I’ve been in the grips of addiction for 28 years, and I believe I’d still be there if I’d not decided to come into inpatient.I finally got my life back with everything they have to offer, the awesome one on one counseling, they have the only case management in a rehab that I know of, and the guided meditation has simply changed my whole outlook on life. ICFR was a great experience for me. The staff does genuinely care about you and your recovery. I especially enjoyed the optional morning meditation with Colin. He was authentic and genuine and provided so much positivity to start each day. He has also reached out to me on several occasions since I left to see how I was doing. Even though in the beginning I was less than willing to cooperate they showed nothing but kindness an understanding for my situation and my feelings. They never gave up on me and showed that I could do it and continue to do it after I would we leave there I think them for my current situation and getting me started but they also taught me that its up to me now to continue the healing process they are amazing and I would highly recommend them

Indiana Center for Recovery has given me the tools to change my life and free me from substance abuse that has plagued me since my young teens. From their extensive education to their helpful bonus tools like meditation and yoga, the team at ICFR has helped given me a lease on a new life. Never would I of thought I would be able to get free from the addiction that has kept me in chains for so long and held me back from making positive changes in my life. People, places, things and situations are changing in my life, all for the better! One of my favorite bonus resources at ICFR that was offered was meditation; it was a great way to start each day to help calm the mind and the soul. I can’t say enough good things about Colin who heads up the meditation program and is also the alumni coordinator. Months after my treatment multiple ICFR staff members are still in constant contact including Colin. This is a program that cares about you, your sobriety and a lease on a new life free from substance abuse.

The Indiana Center for Recovery, was a beautiful experience and a blessing to a chapter in my life. As a 20 year old college student struggling with depression and self medication, ICFR took me in and taught me humbleness, patience and to look within myself for answers. They taught me loving kindness and that there’s so much more potential to life than accepting that “it’s too late” or that I’m not worthy for peace, love, or happiness. The staff here will teach you to be patient and will show that they care. It’s not an easy job for them or for me and I will always remember this place to have been a place where you can find yourself and live within a community that has experience through struggle. Indiana center for recovery is not known to turn their backs.. Never will I forget the fellowship and power that this caring place gives out, to everyone.

My husband received treatment here and our lives have been so much better since he returned home! There are a few things that I would recommend on the structure of living situations and male/female interaction but as far as treatment goes he loved it and is still doing well with his sobriety!

When I pulled up to this place I thought it was very sketch. I know from experience to always trust my gut feelings. They made promises they didn’t follow through. My loved one wasn’t taken very well care. They are on more medication now than before. Only saw the therapist twice in a month. The nurses were rude and uncaring. If you complained they took privileges away, apartments were gross, bottom floors flood, food was horrible( no personal chef), and people broke into rooms and stole. There is no recreational activities, no horses. If you leave early they won’t refund you and will keep your phone/ belongings for 48 hours. Calls are monitored and only 5 mins. I’m very disgusted by what I’ve heard. When a loved one need help and you send them to a place you think they’ll be safe. I wouldn’t give this place one star. I agree with the other lady that posted her review. It’s a scam. They want money and will try to get them to stay longer. I feel awful that my loved one had to be in the facility longer than one day.

ICFR is amazing, I learned alot about myself and my disease. The staff is great all around. You really cant put a price on your life when it comes to treatment. They will work with you financially. I just left ICFR 2 days ago. I spent 66 days there and was sad when I discharged. Not sad to start living my best life (thanks to ICFR) but sad to leave those that I had a personal connection to. From the group facilitators, Dustin and Mrs. A are phenomenal, to the rest of the staff, and the techs who were always there to listen and help in any way possible, THEY WERE AMAZING!!I was able to start figuring out who I am as a person by sharing my stories and struggles, I found it was such a freeing experience. I made connections with people I will continue to remain in contact with for a long time. I would recommend ICFR to anyone struggling with addiction!

Was told they were in networks there! They were NOT. They will say or do ANYTHING they can to get you in there. THEY WILL SCAM YOU! Total charge per day is $3,520!!!! Steer clear of this place!!! Go anywhere but here! I could give you 1000 reasons why! Staff is EXTREMELY unprofessional and treats their patients terribly. Staff often talks as if they are ready to go on a drug binge. Drug seeking talk with visiting outpatient ms in front of in patients. This place is a huge scam. Its ALL about how they can squeeze every penny from your insurance company. They lied and told me they were in network. So many horror stories here. Dont go here! Find a place associated with a major medical center!!! P.S. After coming home, found i had contracted a severe case of head lice while there. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience.

I literally cant say enough good things about this place. I never thought that I would be grateful to be sober, but I had an awakening going through their program. This past year I had the privilege to go to ICFR in Bloomington. It changed my life! The people and staff there were amazing. Collin Troy is one of the staff members there who literally reached out over and over to me when I had relapsed and encouraged me to come back for treatment and while I was in treatment helped me find aftercare that would work for me. I am forever grateful for ICFR and for the people who took the time to make a difference in my life.

My family and I are so thankful for ICFR and the people that work there. Our son is currently a patient. The people are very responsive to our questions and concerns. We attended Family Weekend and are so grateful for everything we learned.

ICFR is founded and run by addicts who share my disease and they saved my life. I fought for months, trying to leave and slip back into denial. I had always managed to keep my life together. I appeared ambitious, capable, hardworking, and I couldnt admit and didnt fully understand how deadly my disease had become. The staff: Colin, Betty, Cyndi W, Cyndi, Jackie, Pixie, David, Dustin, Nikoli, Saul, Calen, Mike, Rachel...I could fill this review with names of people at ICFR who sat with me at one point or another and convinced me to save my own life. They loved me until I could love myself. No treatment center is perfect but ICFR is my family.  They are my community. They met me where I was and helped me to see myself clearly. Ive never trusted people more. I couldnt have done this without them. Ill celebrate my 120 days in just over a week, and my life has changed more than I could have imagined.

I am eternally great full for ICFR because it has saved my life. The people that worked there made me so comfortable and loved as well as the clients that were in with me. There was nothing that they would not do for me including being sure my diabetes was taken care of. I have to put a huge thank you for Collin and Saul that came and picked me up from my home and brought me in.The staff which includes the techs, the therapists and the doctor and nurses were all amazing. I have been in other treatment places before but I never got the peace and serenity that I now have from any other. I was able to gain a new family in recovery and stay in contact with them all. I worked through the steps while I was there up until step 8. That is what has changed everything for me. This place saved my life! I fought tooth and nail with my recovery! Once I surrendered to my addiction and accepted the help they were still there and walked every step with me! I had many things that were brought to my attention that I didnt want to face yet! Now I am facing my problems head on with ICFR walking every step with me right now! I have 30 days clean! Calen Cox also help get my brother into recovery and he has over 60 days clean! Hands down 1 of the best rehabilitation centers in Indiana!

I had a great experience here. Even with covid restrictions they try to make you feel comfortable and connected with loved ones and the outside world. The staff members are great and most of them are in recovery themselves. Colin was incredibly helpful to me and continues to be a constant supporter for me even though Ive left the program. Even the owner is extremely involved and has personal contact with the clients and makes sure to do what he can to meet each clients needs. A wonderful place to get life back on track.

ICFR was phenomenal to me. I went in and spent 4 months there, desperate for a new way of life. They worked with me through everything, helped me when no one else would. The groups are great, the outings were fun, the staff is amazing and they truly care about you. Highly recommend for those wanting/needing to get sober.

My loved one is currently in icfr, though this is not her first try at sobriety this is by far the best program she has been in. The staff is amazing, the program is strict And that is a huge benefit to her. I am grateful everyday for icfr. The family weekend is AMAZING! Jackie daniels really helped us to understand more of what my daughter is going through, and that helps us to be able to help her in the future. Nick Gore and the entire ICFR team have a patient centered approach to addiction treatment. They understand the urgency in providing support to the person in need and their families.

Had the absolute PLEASURE of going through here 3 times within a 6-month time period.Groups are way too big to be helpful nowadays, they keep taking more and more clients. They did change them up in recent months but when you’re in “Phase 2”, they’re still too large.You see your therapist once a week at best. You’ll get homework arbitrarily assigned it seems. Also your out date is determined the same way. They are not forthcoming with information about when you will be leaving or be transitioning to IOP.One good part is the network of friends that you can build up while spending time here. If your plan is to move to Bloomington then it’s great.A lot of the staff does care about you, mainly techs that are with you a lot of the day. The people at the top don’t at all, especially people in charge of getting you into treatment, they’ll act like they do right until you get admitted into detox then it’s onto the next person.All in all, the sad truth is most private treatment centers are like this. Really just comes down to if you want to do this thing in Southern Indiana, or South Florida or Cali.

After days of trying to find a bed in the midst of a pandemic, I learned of this golden nugget in the middle of Indiana. It was about a 30 minute conversation with an exceptional representative, who I later found out was one of the managers, then someone from the community picked me up. Read that again. They came and picked me up! It was a 5.5 hour round trip for the employee, and he was as happy to do it as I was to go.When I arrived, I could barely sleep. The staff and other residents really made you feel welcomed. The days are filled with a regiment that focuses on individuals needs, while giving yourself the opportunity to grow and share with others. You feel like you can do anything sober, and the staff continue to remain in your lives after youre gone. I have gained many tools that I still use today, and reach out whenever I need a leg up. 5 out of 5. If youre serious about your recovery, youll be in great hands at ICFR. Good luck trying to contact your loved one. They only let them have one outgoing 5 minute call a day and if you miss it your S.O.L. and the woman who initially answered was extremely rude and condescending. I literally had to explain my time zone difference twice with her and it still didnt stick. They expect my loved one to only reach me at a scheduled time which is impossible for me at this point in life, some people have jobs and other responsibilities on-top of having to manage trying to keep your loved one motivated. I really feel like they are just stacking on treatments to drain all of her benefits as well. There is zero communication from this facility.

This is such an incredible place filled with an amazing staff! I didnt know something like this could exist. They really care and will not stop working (sometimes literally) to help each client work through their recovery, however that may look. This is the only place Id trust with any of my loved ones.

Indiana Center for Recovery is a life changing facility. The staff and environment are so caring and comforting, it makes the entire process easy and enjoyable. A great place to get your life back and recovery, The staff is awesome they take real good care of you, when I got here I was in a hard shell wouldnt talk and they broke my shell and now they are always telling me how proud they are of me.and how much I have grown.the program is amazing they give you a therapist to work with one one one and in groups, its small enough personal time to work with and talk to when you need to talk the staff who really cares, they take you places to help you learn how to socialize sober. Like bowling, laser tag, movies, take you get your hair cut, nails done, and it CO-ED.They saved my life and they help me get my family back and Im ready to start my new life over.

Its an amazing facility to be for recovery! The staff genuinely cares about the clients. The program is amazing if youre willing to put in the effort. You are given a therapist to work with in one on one sessions each week. They also offer trauma therapy which is very helpful! They take you out on outings so you can get out and take your mind off of things. The staff works hard to accommodate you to meet your needs. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Unfortunately, had an overzealous and overactive staff member who raised his voice to inform me that I couldnt exercise and that I talked to much in group. Upper management apologized, but during the apology this same gentleman stated you could have me put on a 72 hold. He doesnt and shouldnt have patient contact.Also, Saul states he will help you but doesnt and in fact doesnt answer his calls. The one he did answer he asks me to write a good review here. Nice facility but Saul and the guy below him are not personable, honest, or profesional.

I love this place! The staff is very caring and works hard to see that the clients needs are met, while being supportive in their recovery. My daughter in law who has struggled with substance misuse received a scholarship. That was the only way she could have gotten treatment. She has done great and this is saving her life.

I spent more the 17 years immersed in active addiction coupled with shame, destruction,guilt, isolation, and self loathing that accompanies the disease. I have 49 days clean today and that’s a miracle. I’m eternally grateful to ICFR, their program, and caring staff.

Ive been through this program 3 times and They never pushed me away they always welcomed me back with open arms. Words cant even describe how grateful i am for the staff. They helped me tremendously finding myself again i will be forever grateful!

Indiana Center for Recovery helped me get my life back on track. They have an amazing rehabilitation program and an amazing staff. With their structured living facility and the programs they offer, I was able to learn how to function in everyday life again without the use of drugs and alcohol. I was able to get back in touch with the person I was before drugs and alcohol took over my life. Indiana Center for Recovery is one of the best rehabilitation centers out there. I am so grateful for the opportunity I got March 2018-June 2018 being in the program. Much love to the staff and directors for always being there for me every step of the way and potentially saving my life.

My loved one started here in May 2019, did fantastic, but after several months, she was threatened by the DIr if she did not pay rent she would be evicted. She made arrangements for rent and then several hours later the Co-Founder swoops in and tells her and several others, they have 24 hrs to find a new place to live, no written notice no help finding a new place to live just you are being released whether you are ready of not! Sadly, they do NOT follow through with the promises they make to the patient or to the family!

Indiana Center for recovery saved my life...They go above and beyond there call of duty for all there clients. From the Techs to the clinical team theyre by far the most hands on and caring people you can think of. i highly recommend if you know anyone needing help finding recovery to try to get in here!

I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to give back to the recovery community as a faculty member at the ICFR. Like many of my colleagues and co workers, I too am in recovery. I am blessed to find myself surrounded by some of the most selfless and compassionate people Ive ever had the honor of working with. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year this organization is dedicated to saving lives. To anyone who is suffering from addiction know that your life matters and there are people here that have dedicated their lives to saving yours.

The bht staff is wonderful and the campus is beautiful.

My husband was self admitted 21 days ago for anxiety treatment. While there he saw his therapist twice and was only given “homework” one time. Meanwhile our insurance denied his second 10 day request so he decided to do outpatient. His therapist okayed the decision but Jackie said that he couldn’t leave and they were going to keep his belongings. She then said they were going to up his treatment level in order to get more insurance money and keep him. I do not recommend this place for anyone’s recovery. I will post this everyone I need to and intend to contact news outlets.

I had a great experience at IFCR. I came here very scared and i felt comfortable very quickly. By the second week the days just started to fly by. I had a lot of fun here too. I really didnt expect a recovery center would be so interesting and fun. I am getting ready to leave and i honestly say that i will miss this place. I found life long friends here and a new way of thinking. I highly suggest anyone in need of recovery come stay at Indiana center for recovery.

Icfr is an amazing place with out it and the awesome staff I would not be where I am today. They have helped me on so many levels. I recommend it to anyone I know that is needing a recovery center for sure. Thank you so much for what you do.

Everyone in the staff are fantastic and they genuinely care for everyone that comes through the program. 99% of the staff are in recovery as well so they know exactly how it feels to suffer from the disease of addiction. This is a wonderful place that truly cares about their clients. I was here last year and they went above and beyond to help me not only with addiction, but to become a better person. They taught me all the tools to continue my sobriety after I left. They pushed me to get a sponsor, work the steps, and attend meetings regularly.

As a client of ICFR I was treated with respect and dignity throughout my stay. Lunch is provided every day and weekly trips to the grocery store were accommodated.The Staff were amazing and always helpful.I would recommend this treatment center to anyone!

Very supportive staff that pour their heats into everything they do. Wonderful facilities that allow patients to focus on their recovery in a comfortable and safe environment. One of the most helpful Recovery Centers ever and they are very well connected to the community to give patients all the tools they need to create a powerful and lasting life change. The staff all have a very personal and well rounded understanding of the disorders they fight and if you want to succeed this is THE place to take back your life.

This place is my saving grace! Not only does everyone on staff actually care about you but they go above and beyond to make it feel as close to home as they can. When you do end up going home it’s with the knowledge and strength you need to not only stay sober but actually wanting to stay sober for your new found family in recovery! The people here are great, the connection they make with you makes you feel right as if your at home. This is a place I regained myself back an I couldnt ask for anything more. Just really grateful that there was a facility for me to help me find myself. An it can be the same for others.

The staff is absolutely the most caring bunch of individuals I have met! They care about each client and leave nobody behind! The clinical team is knowledgeable and most are in recovery themselves! Nice rooms for the clients and have all levels of care for treatment.

Amazing facility, all the staff here are extremely dedicated to the success of all the clients... even the tough cases. Majority of the staff are in recovery themselves, so they speak from experience. Been to over 15 treatment centers and this is by far the best facility I’ve ever been to.
