My appointment was Friday, Oct. 22, 2021. I give the medical assistant Erika and Lab Tech Sugey a 5 star.

I had an appointment set at 10:45 after finally trying for over a month. However due to a system issue, my appointment had canceled and I got a text notification saying it was canceled. I immediately called them and they said it was fine and to come in as they were gunna put it in the notes. When I got to the office, they told me my appointment was cancelled and there is nothing they can do. This was extremely unprofessional on their end and they didn’t even try to help me. They basically told me that they knew it was their fault but didn’t wanna help me. Waste of time and a drive. Find another doctor. This is the second time I’ve experienced an issue at this doc.

Dr. Nicole Locascio was a great doctor. Very thorough and it seemed to me that she actually cared about me as a patient. She talked to me like a human. However, her Nurses Assistant named Naila Saucedo was aggressive. She forcefully interrogated me about Psychiatry; why I didn’t have a psychiatrist, why I wasn’t on any medication, why I stopped seeing the psychiatrist, and how I should be seeing the psychiatrist & social workers that they have there. She started on this long psychological exam questionnaire before she even got my name, date of birth, and height & weight. She was acting very strange—like she was on some type of stimulant drug. Moving very rapidly about the room, and talking so quickly that I couldn’t keep up with what she was saying. She was all over the place and very intense. She would ask me a question that required some time to think through, and before I was able to answer she would snap her fingers at me and then answer for me even if her answer wasn’t true or correct. She just wanted to hurry and go at her own very sped up pace. She had her own agenda and she made the experience pretty awful. I wanted to walk out and I honestly almost did. She made me extremely uncomfortable. It made me feel like they thought that all of my health problems were all in my head and nonexistent. I really wanted to cry and just leave. The doctor kind of had to shew her out of the room so that we could begin the appointment and by the end of the appointment, the nurse Naila came back in and slapped me with a psychiatrist referral that I didn’t need or even ask for, yet she was very insistent that I go see them. It was like she had a special incentive to try and trick me into seeing this psychiatrist. Like I said, Dr. Locascio was a great doctor and I enjoyed her as a doctor. She was professional and thorough from the start, but that nurse of hers was absolutely terrible and I hope to never have to see her again. She made me extremely uncomfortable. I’ve seen a lot of doctors and nurses assistants in my lifetime for various reasons, and this was by far the worst nurse I’ve ever come across in my life. She was literally Hell-bent on me seeing this Psychiatrist without even knowing whether I needed one or not. Access Martin T Russo has good doctors and I disagree with other peoples reviews about them. However this nurse was very unpleasant. I will not be going to see this referred Psychiatrist, or any psychiatrist, unless I need one in the future.

I have a sinus infection and went to see a nurse practitioner and was given a 7 day treatment even though I informed her my infections require a 10 day treatment. Now it is back for over a week and they want me to wait another week to see an EanT even though I explained a 10 day treatment would heal me. If I wait much longer, the infection could cause bronchitis or pneumonia and even Covid. Where do I turn? I am going back to my previous doctor who is out of network of the unaffordable care in order to see a doctor who cares.

Love this office really recommend it. Office was clean and they had hand sanitizer available everywhere in the office. Staff was awesome, friendly and great attitude. I was seen fairly quick. My nurse Sugey was very friendly, polite made me feel very comfortable. Dr.Katherine Collins was very nice and made sure all my questions were answered. Went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my visit. Will definitely keep them as my primary physician.

Worst place on earth to have as your medical team. The nurses are okay, but the NPs and Doctors are the worst. Stay away from NP Uzma Shamsi, one of the worst healthcare professionals there is. If you do not care for your patients and do not treat them like human beings why get into the healthcare field? Same with Dr. Joy DeLeoz, absolute garbage doctor who needs to be told 10 times for a medication to be refilled, only for her to reply you and say tell your other doctor to do it. Both Uzma Shamsi and Joy Deleoz give Martin T Russo a bad name. Its better to take your healthcare needs, your time and your money someplace else.

Worst office ever. On top of it being very dirty the staff and Drs don’t care about you at all its ridiculous and people should take there needs to someone who cares. Dr. Hodges is the absolute worst!

This office doesn’t care about their patients AT ALL!! Just like another reviewer said if you call and need an emergency visit they do not care they will not make the time for you. The receptionists most of the time treat you like you don’t matter at all and you’re basically wasting their time. I’ve been calling about my medication refill for weeks and every time the pharmacies call me to tell me they can’t fill it because they’re told by this office that I have to come in because they won’t fill but yet I was in their office 3 weeks ago. Plus i’m immune compromised and have been sick since they forced me to go into their office and yet I’ve still not been able to get my refill. They never put you with the same provider, however then they always ask who is your provider and get mad when you tell them you don’t know. Well how am I suppose to know if I’ve never seen the same doctor twice. This is one of the biggest reasons that there are so many miscommunications between this doctors office, the pharmacies, and the patients. I can honestly not wait until I am able to switch providers and be done with this office forever because they are the worst doctors office that I’ve ever had to deal with!!!!!!!

Had very good track of my health records, were kind, and recommended better treatment than I had anticipated.

Came in for my first visit in this office with Dr. Collins. Seeing the size of the office and how busy it was, I was worried Id be there for awhile. To my surprise I only waited about 15min. Dr Collins was in shortly after and genuinely took her time with my visit. She listened to all my questions and concerns about my health and came up with a great game plan. I was guided to do labs which only took about 5 min of a wait. And was happy to be out and on my way in just a few min over an hour. I was really happy with my visit and look forward to following up. Keep up the great work!

AMAZING SERVICE!!!!!! I would like to extend a big thank you to Efrain, Mayra and Viviana, my childrens new provider for the accommodations made to service my family. The late hours , professionalism and efficiency made my visit so pleasant. My children love their new provider Viviana!!!!!As a parent I feel overly excited to recommend Martin T Russo for any one including families to visit.

This is the second time they had to cancel my appointment, this time they claimed they left a voicemail but I didn’t receive anything! I came all the way there in the cold snowy weather for nothing with my one year old! And they had no care at all! Never again will I bother going there

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit. The intake reception workers were cordial and graciously assisted me with my paperwork. My wait was less than 5 minutes and I was called in before my appointment time. This has never happened in all of the years Ive been seen at other medical facilities. The nurses and techs seem to cooperate among each other as if they are family. These are consummate professionals. I was seen by a doctor and my son by another doctor. They listened to everything we said intently, they were extremely competent and thorough and spent more time with us than we expected. I introduced paperwork to one of the doctors and he seemed happy to complete it without any hesitation. The lab workers were patient and diligent and even though they were very busy they treated us as if we were their only patients. This is an extraordinary group of medical professionals who genuinely seem to care about their patients, who are happy to be there and are committed to quality and compassionate care. Every patient should have the privilege of having services at this facility! Thank you very much!

Always a pleasant experience. I have always had a kind and caring doctor. I have been seeing Viviana Rivera and she has been wonderful. Always helpful, caring and understanding. They always hear you out and try to find the best solution for anything you bring to them.

AMAZING SERVICE ! A lot quicker than the Addison location. As well as the staff are very professional. I have been going here for years . I definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a new dr office. They offer free transportation to and back from your appointments which is Great ! Another plus is having the patient portal you can check your test results and schedule appointments without having to call.

I love Uzma Shamsi NP, I feel safe and comfortable seeing her. She is the absolute best. I am lucky to have her and hope to keep her forever! I have never had another medical person talk to me and explain everything like her.

Viviana Rivera always delivers exceptional medical care to my grandparents. She is not only knowledgeable and helpful, but also very caring and understanding. She always takes her time to sit and talk with us. We only see her for all appointments. We recommend her 100%. We are very very grateful for Viviana Rivera, NP.

I had such a wonderful experience with Viviana Rivera she was kind, efficient, and went a above and beyond while treating my son. We called with questions after and she took time to calm my nerves. I would highly recommend Vivina.

This place is so unprofessional they do not care about their patients the receptionist are rude most of the time you never see the same doctor more than once if you call for an emergency appointment they don’t care they will not make one you have to wait weeks this office is a waste of time

Had some testing done here. Scheduling was easy and I was seen right away by the provider. Facilities are a little old, but I think theyve been around a long time. Staff was friendly and my results came back quickly. Communication was great. Provider seemed a little rushed, but it was a busy day. Id return if needed.

They lost my urine sample and blamed the lab people. Waited a week for results that would never come. Was told they threw it out. I have a kidney / bladder infection and need antibiotics. Now I have to go to the emergency room so I can get same day results and medicine. The clinic people told me Im not the first person this has happened to recently and they blamed the new staff. Why they would throw away my sample and not call me is beyond me. The one lady ( Sandra ) who I was told is their team lead, laughed when I told her what was going on. They are unprofessional ammatures.

I have been seeing Uzma Shamsi, APN for 2 years now she is the best always pleasant and patient answers any questions you may have. She actually examines you. Most doctor’s now days just ask so why are you here and write a prescription. If you send her a message on the portal guaranteed she’ll reply back. She is the absolute best!!! Glad I met her after my doctor over 10 years left the state. Actually the whole staff at Russo are nice.

Aida on front desk are the best and Dr Richardson is the best also me and my family are like the way she take car us many thank you8/2/2020I would like to add a dr. People work at this place are so dumb and unprofessional. They billed my annual checkup in wrong code two years in roll. Instead of free annual check up, I had to pay because of their errors. They also charged me copay which should also be free for annual checkup. I spent months tried in vain to correct. How did this place get its license? They are a joke !

I love doctor Shaw for my children. But the reception desk is beyond horrible. Every time I try to schedule an appointment I’m on hold for over 5 minutes. When you finally get through to someone they have such a horrible attitude and treat you as if your a bother. Not to mention if something is actually wrong and you want to get in right away that’s totally not going to happen. Better off taking your kids to urgent care.

I’ve come here twice and never plan on coming back. Both times I’ve come here I left very unsatisfied. I saw Dr. Uzma she was rude and could care less about you and it shows. She wouldn’t even make eye contact with me while speaking, she just stared at her computer or paper the whole time. I came back for my results, paid the full amount just to sit in the room for 5 mins to be told my vitamin d was low. What I don’t understand is why you couldn’t of said this over the phone instead of making me waste my money and time.Very unprofessional and MONEY HUNGRY place. Save your time and money this place doesn’t deserve it.

Ive been coming to Russo Family practice for about 4yrs now & cant say enough about how happy I am with the care Ive received from Viviana Rivera NP. Shes very personable, accessible and always makes sure all my questions have been answered, Im definitely keeping her as my primary.

Dr. Collin Tran is the worst. He took me off of benzos cold rurkey and refuses to help me with my ra and fibermyalia. Its been months of me callin and leaving messages for him not to even call back. This clinic would rather you kill yourself. Yes Ive reported him

This place is shady af. If youre going in for an annual checkup DONT PAY THE COPAY it should be free. They charge the copay to unsuspecting patients and rip them off.

Bad receptionist, I had a appointment and I called cause I was late and they told me it was fine and when I arrive they told me that I was late and they couldnt see me! They always have a bad actitude.

Very Unprofessional. Last appointment I made, they called and made me reschedule 3 times in a row for my pcp, I ended up having to see another doctor after 3 weeks of trying to get in. Now I just received a call saying I have to reschedule my appointment (thats supposed to be tomorrow) for next week. Youd think a doctors office would be better than that.
