I Have been going to Tease Co. For some time now and Ive always had a great experience. Ive referred more than 6 Clients to their salon. Recently, I went in for a new look, I asked for an ombre. Mind you my hair was black to begin with so, i asked if this was even a possibility and she stated yes. I sat in the salon for 9 hours that day in between clients thinking i was getting something accomplished with my hair but in reality my hair turned out fried. My ends were so dry they kept breaking off. I asked for an ombre and i came out with highlights in the front of my head and the rest of my head orange. I was so tired from being there until 10pm i just did not have enough energy to say what was on my mind. I decided to contact her through text and nicely stated the look wasnt exactly what i thought it would be. I would continue to refer clients to her but me going for color was not at my interest at tease anymore. I asked for a refund to at least get my hair fixed somewhere else as well. She contacted me and was completely offended i offended her work and what she loved doing. For me not to contact her and that she will not refund me the money for the mistake she had done. That it was up to me what i would do next. What completely caught me off guard the fact she stated she worked to the best of her ability, I am a terrified to know whats the least of her ability if this was the best. It is disgusting to know a Stylist would rather be worried about the money they lose instead of making a client satisfied. I am humiliated with how my experience was in that salon. I ended up going to a different salon Serenity Salon and Spa in bloomfield NJ. When they saw my hair they couldnt believe on how much breakage i had. She stated she couldnt do much because it would end up falling off. I am petrified on how my hair turned out and i will not be able to have it fixed for another 6 weeks. So my advise to anyone out there. Please do not go here. I do not recommend Tease co, no one should have to experience the awful experience i went through.
