Best and fastest Brazilian that I’ve ever had. Every hair was removed and my skin was left soft and smooth. No waiting. If your appointment is 11am, then you’re called in at 11am. I love this place.

I love Bloomfield wax and skincare center! I did my first Brazilian wax there and was so nervous but their staff and estheticians made sure I was relaxed and reassured me it would go just fine. I have been going here for years they provide great service, you never have a long wait to be seen, they are professional and they are the only wax place that moves really fast idk how they do it. I have only gone here twice but both experiences have been great thanks to Cierra. She is very fast and efficient and does a great job at making me feel comfortable during my wax. As long as she is there I will keep coming back. They book up very fast, so once you have an appointment try your best to keep it!

I have been coming to this center for almost a year. I am not one to write bad reviews but, I need to share my recent experiences. I was very happy with the price and the environment. My last three visits I have been HIGHLY disappointed in. My last appointment was canceled and rescheduled without my knowledge and my newly rescheduled date did not work with my work schedule. No one called to tell my of my new appointment date, or to let me know my original date was canceled. Not only was my wax rescheduled but it was with a woman that I wasn’t regularly with. I later found out that the woman who usually does my waxes had quit. I then got my wax the following week with someone I wasn’t used to, and it was the worst wax I had ever gotten. I was the woman’s last client of the day and she told me she was in a rush to get home. I could tell. I still had patches of hair. I have referred three people to this center in the last few months and they were dissatisfied with their services as well as their front desk experience. They had reschedule issues as well. I used to love coming to this location but within the last few months it has gone downhill and I am very upset and unsatisfied. I hope it improves to the way it was when I first started going.

The place has a nice interior but I was not happy with the first service I last received. I seen all these good reviews by Sierra and was excited when I found out she was waxing me. It didn’t feel welcoming and I felt like she rushed my wax. There was times where she pulled the wax off and didn’t even press down to help the pain. She wasn’t informational at all and I understand you’re having a long day but you should still treat every customer like it’s their first time. Do better. Overall I’m definitely trying someone else to give this place another chance before I call it quits. Hopefully my next waxed is way better than this one.

Their wax is very cheap and sticky they have bad customer service. The owner Mel is very rude , this place needs to go out of business they staff doesn’t even last a year at this place probably cause of poor management they will never get my service again

I wanted to love this place. I wanted it to be great. Never had the opportunity because the person who scheduled my appointment entered the wrong telephone number for me ( but stuff happens). Most establishments call the day before to confirm so I should have realized something was wrong when I didnt get a call the day before my appointment. I just didnt give it much thought because I have a lot on my plate. The day of my appointment I called four hours before my scheduled time and thats when the young lady informed me that she couldnt find my appointment using my number. She looks up my name and reads a number that is not associated with me. Then she goes your appointment was canceled.... Crickets.... I said oh because you called the wrong number and couldnt confirm, she says yes. No apology but she does tell me that she can get me tonight but not for both services I requested. One or the other... Crickets.... Dont you think an apology would be appropriate and offer to try to accommodate me since you made the mistake. NOPE, she sound like she could care less. I said, no thank you. Her response was okay.Mistakes happen... However in the service industry, you should try and recover better. Wont get my business.

I recommend this beautiful black owned wax center! I was there about two weeks ago and the lovely receptionist , Erica was very pleasant and accommodating . The customer service was exceptional . I rotate with the wax specialist and each one has been very pleasant.

I was looking for a new waxing place and stubbled upon Bloomfield Wax & Skin Care Center. I didn’t bother reading the reviews so I decided to call. I felt so welcomed when speaking with the receptionist, she answered my questions was polite and even laughed at my corny joke. The professionalism was stellar and the follow up game is strong ! They called me to confirm my appointment and I just so happen to need to reschedule, I was able to do it over the phone with no hassle. When I got there, the place is so clean, staff was so respectful And I was just enjoying my time there. My appointment was with Cierra, she was so pleasant. She made me feel extremely comfortable, talked me through the difference of hard wax and soft wax. We chatted about all sorts of things and laughed. By the time I realized it we were all finished. She was so professional and efficient, I was curious to how long she had been work at this place and could you believe it was her 2nd DAY!!! I thought she had been working there for quite some time. The staff culture and moral made me think as if she had been there forever. This was a pleasant experience and will be back each and every time. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Yesterday was my first visit here and I am definitely returning! What made my whole experience was my esthetician Layra. She is amazing! She took her time with me and helped me learn about how to take care of my skin. I love being sold on not only a place but more importantly the person taking care of me. She will now be my go to here. :)

Sierra is AMAZING and Im so glad I found my go-to person. She answered all of my questions and gave me great aftercare instructions. The two ladies at the front desk (orange hair & locs) were also super sweet and informative! Cant wait to come back for future appointments :)

First off, i love this place. & They will always have a client in me. I was introduced to their yoni steams a year ago (which were a great experience) but i am a huge fan of their waxes, especially with Ceirra!! She was quick and got every piece of hair chile. Do yourself a favor and go to them. It’s only $25 & the quality of work is amazing.

I’ve been going to this place consistently for 2 years. I started noticing early on that you can never get the same waxer twice. The place is beautifully maintained. It’s clean vibrant colors and I must also include that the receptionist are always friendly they greet when you come in and ask you to have a seat and they notified the next available esthetician. Now in all honesty I don’t thinks it’s bad to have different people working on you every single time, but none of them are consistent with their techniques. The method of them pulling out the hairs for my last few visits have giving me the most painful ingrown hairs. It looks like they hire the girls right out of school and there’s nothing wrong with that but as a business owner you should at least have someone trained them because this is beyond disturbing. I tried calling to speak to a manager to raise my concern and I have never Heard from them. My advice don’t bother because dealing with their aftermath has been a nightmare.

I had 2 appt with one tech a V wax and an under arm detox. The day before my appt they call and say you can only get the wax. The tech for the under arm isnt coming to work. But I booked both items with 1 person weeksss ago. No one has time for such confusion. Its not a fluid experience. Cheaper is not always better.

1st and foremost I have been going to this place for a while now. ALL of the esthetically are wonderful 👏🏾. The place is ALWAYS clean and the front staff is ALWAYS pleasurable and accomadating. I do have to give a huge thank you to my favorite girl Maribel. She makes the whole process comforting and painless... from the application of the wax to the removal of the strips, I have definitely hands down found my long term esthetician. I must say, I have been going to this wax center for at least half a year, if not more. I have referred people and WAS very content with their service before. The last two times I have gone to the spa, I was told that I did not make my appointment, when in fact I did. I love the waxers- especially Maribel, but this spa needs a NEW FRONT DESK staff. I had my appointment for 12 today and they told me that they do not have any availability until next year. I specifically scheduled my appointment for this time and day because of my work schedule (I am a healthcare professional) and am going on vacation. Although it was THEIR fault they could not accommodate me, and each time I wanted to speak to the manager. They kept on stating that she is not available and would HANG UP ON ME. This is the most unprofessional center I have ever been to. I am definitely telling all of the people I have referred to the spa and they are no longer going to receive my business.This is just unbelievable and I know I am not the only one.

I’ve been utilizing this amazing establishment for well over almost 2 years.... I’ve built a relationship with the amazing Saatrina. When i say that she is nothing but amazing and has a heart of Gold and just makes me feel so comfortable. Being new to waxing and being able to communicate fears and skin conditions with your aesthetician and not be judged etc is amazing. Hands down the best place to go for all skincare and waxing. I’ve even recommended many of my friends who love coming as well. if i could give more stars i would 🙂

Do not waste your time and money here. I got a Brazilian wax that literally looked like they did it with their eyes closed. I got home and checked myself and there was so much hair left it’s unreal! Not only that but now I got some whiteheads which are extremely uncomfortable! Never coming back worst service! If I could remember the girl who did it I would definitely not recommend her.

I always have a great experience here the only thing that didnt seem appropriate is my waxer informing me that the ATM machine was in the back ,like she wasnt going to get a tip which I already had in cash . I never had that happen previously so Idk what is going on with that now.

I am not one to write bad reviews but I have to this time. I rescheduled my appointment that was for 2 weeks ago, it was for a Brazilian and half leg. They rescheduled me for just a Brazilian, I asked the person I spoke to please make sure it is for both she assured me it was. Got a call to confirm and I asked and she said no it is only for a Brazilian, I have to say she was nice enough to try to get me in but they only have a earlier for one service and then go back at my original time for the other service. This is the second time this has happened and I know trust me things happen I know but when its the second time and I make sure the reschedule me for both it gets aggravating. But God forbid and you cant make it and cant call to cancel they will charge you for a no show, So I wonder will they discount you for a mistake they do????? So disappointed because the service is good but this situation has happened twice and I dont like that and I feel bad because I know mistakes happen but so disappointing.

Ive been coming here for my Brazilians since they first opened the old location across the street. Its very clean, relaxing,and comfortable when you first walk in. I went in to inquire about their walk in policy after calling and getting a busy tone 4 times mind you but, young lady at the front desk made me feel dismissed. Mind you Ive not only been going their for the past 3 years but also came from Pa. for services.

Best Brazilian and you can’t beat the price. Fast, clean, and pain was low and bearable. Also had a butt facial which was great.... and the body wrap was relaxing. Friendly environment and very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend.

The place is beautiful and extremely clean. I have been getting my waxes done here for over a year now and haven’t had any major problems.At first they had some trouble with staff consistency. Every time I got waxed, it was with a new person until I found Satrina, who is a god send. She is quick but very effective and gets me out in no time. The only problem is, others have also found out about how great she is and now she’s always booked 😭.My other complaint is with the reception staff. They sometimes have attitudes and do a terrible job at booking appointments. I’ll call and ask specifically for Satrina and they’ll say she’s booked at least a month out - WITHOUT checking the schedule. One girl even said to me “I’m just so used to her being booked up I don’t look”. This has happened to me more than once where they’ll actually check the day to day schedules and see Satrina can fit me in.Overall, this is a great and straightforward place to get waxes and other spa services, I just hope the front staff gets some more training in customer service.

I liked my experience here. I went in and it was clean and put together. I was taken back right away after I checked in. The workers are friendly and accommodating. The lady that worked on me did a great job and was very quick. The parking is just terrible in the area. Besides that it was a good experience and I will be back.

I do recommend BS&W, however I did not have a satisfying experience today. I am a regular customer, every four weeks for my waxing with a preference for Sitrina, whom I book with most of the time but I did not get her. I had my appointment today for 3 treatments, V-Steam, Brazilian and a Vajacial. I was disappointed that I was only given a rough 30 minutes to steam and was rushed out of the room and back out into the main entrance reception area. I felt akward, damp and uncomfortable as I awaited my Brazilian, which for some reason was a long 40 minute wait. I ended up getting an esthetician I did not know. To top it off they didnt even have my Vajacial scheduled in the book and so I was turned away. No options to reconcile the situ nor was I given the opportunity to reschedule another. Now, I do not know what happened here today but this was the most disappointing visit Ive ever had here at BS&W. I left feeling defeated and not like I usually feel after my visits at BS&W. I like and have met the owner before when she visits and am so happy to support Black Women Owned Business. I only wish she were here today to witness what I had went through and how I felt. I am not sure what I will do in the future. I need a dependable and reliable regular waxing service that can schedule my appointments correctly without error as I travel almost 1 hour to get there. My birthday month pampering day-- ruined. My yoni ego-- belittled.

I’ve been going here for a while and receiving not just the best service but the best customer service from the staff and the owner herself. They have such great positive attitudes, very attentive to you and the various services are amazing. I havent taken advantage of the $25 Brazilian Wax yet. I figured I would start with my underarms just to get an idea of how waxing feels.The customer service is great from start to finish. I was nervous but was made to feel comfortable by the technician. The process was explained as well as what to do to maintain.To my surprise the waxing was actually completely painless. They used some type of blue hard wax and used a new stick each time they dipped into the wax.Pricing is amazingly affordable. Everyone is pleasant. The ambiance is relaxing.I would highly recommend this spa to everyone. I left feeling comfortable and at ease.

I went here because I got a Living Social deal for a Brazilian wax. I had to make an appointment which was fine. I made it the day before with no problem. My waxer Elizabeth was great. I didnt suffer in too much pain. She was quick and professional and answered all my questions. I will be going back!

I used to love this place, until I had my last Brazilian there about two months ago. A few days after my Brazilian I started having painful bumps until now, I really don’t know what to do because I have never experienced that before. The fact that they change tech very often makes it difficult, I visited 4 times and each time I had a different tech.

The last thing I want to deal with when Im making appointments or trying to reschedule appointments for personal care services is someone talking to me in a condescending tone.When trying to explain to Bre--when she called to confirm my appointment today--that my hair had not grown back enough to keep the waxing appointments, she asked me so youre just going to cancel all your services. I tried to re-explain that I didnt have enough hair, she passive aggressively began to talk over me in a very condescending tone.She told me because I was getting soooo many services she wouldnt be able to reschedule me until the middle of August.I replied, I understand. I dont think I will reschedule now. I will probably just make an appointment somewhere else because I think I may only need... Bre cut off again from making what I thought would have been an acceptable response since I was canceling my appointment and could not be further accomodated.Bre then said, Listen. Just let me explain. Maybe you misunderstood me and if you want to go elsewhere after I finish, then youre welcome to do so. I was just asking what day would you want to come to see if I can fit you in? in a tone that just didnt sit right with me.I just replied, No other services will be needed. Thank you.

Although they have cheap groupon deals (the only reason I give this place the time of day), some of the receptionists are very rude and snobby with terrible attitudes. My friend and I had appointments one after the other. I missed my 7 min grace period and my friend let me take her appointment. While she waited in the lobby she overheard the receptionist allowing other late customers to be serviced and even scheduled an appointment for the following day after telling us there was no availability until the end of the month. On the bright side, I was able to talk to a more respectful receptionist and get my friend an appointment later in the day.

I heard about BWSCC on social media and decided to try it out. The moment I walked in I was greeted and was immediately seen, even though I was a hour early. Everyone was friendly, professional, and wore smiles on their faces. Erica did my wax quickly and painlessly. I will definitely be back to see her again! Besides, you cant beat $25 for a Brazilian. No added fees, taxes, or anyone pressuring you into purchasing anything additional.

Waxing best!!!I m not picky or personal when it comes to waxing. I want it all off and to be in and out of an establishment.This place is just that. Clean, Quick and Professional!I have been going here for about 6 months. I love the price and the place.All the women there are so nice and professional. Doesnt matter who who you go to! There is a uniformity to the way that this are done here.I love it !!

The receptionist was short and when I got there for my wax, the person was clearly in a rush and on her phone at one point just before she was going to wax me. I expressed to her that it was my second time being wax and that I was “untouched” and she was super rough cleaning my sensitive area!! She was also rushing so it wasn’t any better! I simply got off of that bed and walked out. I wouldn’t recommend.

My first time here and I enjoyed my experience I got a Brazilian and Vajaycial all for $60 compared to the European wax center the Brazilian is $57. This is my go to place just be patient they are busy and sometimes it is hard to get an appointment over the phone so once you receive your service make the appointment there. Also have enough money for the meters just in case . Erica my waxer was amazing my appointment is already set for November

This was my first time there and i was VERY PLEASED! I received a Brazilian wax from Angela and she was very sweet, professional and clean! She made me feel very comfortable and took her time to make sure i was happy. Not only was the place clean and cute but it was very AFFORDABLE! I went to Groupon for the discount and paid $18 but without the discount paying $25 is way better then $56-$70 I’m use to paying at other places. I will definitely be going back for my next wax.
