We went in to have a cavity filled for my son. I appreciated, so much, how they didnt want him traumatized at all and they were very good with him. It went very smoothly and this momma is happy!

I called to make cleaning appointments for my kids as new patients. I thought I would have to wait weeks to get in. I got an appointment for all 3 kids within a few days. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dentist was friendly and thorough.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. THEY QUOTED ME $1,100 FOR A ROOT CANAL AND TEMPORARY FILLING, I paid that out of pocket. I was never informed all the sudden they are charging me another $700 for permanents nor did they have my permission to order them. I TOLD THEM I WONT BE ABLE TO GET THE PERMANENTS UNTIL AFTER I HAVE MY BABY AND FINANCIALLY SET AGAIN. THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS FOR ALMOST $700 FOR PERMANENTS I NEVER EVEN GOT PUT IN. AND TOLD ME I CANT GET THEM PUT IN UNTIL I pay it off. So this is sitting on my credit report with no services done.

I really enjoyed my visit to Grove City Dental. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable. My hygienist had a soft touch and was very proactive in making sure I had no discomfort. One of the best I’ve experienced. I really liked Dr Layton. He was very thorough and honest regarding potential dental issues and my current oral health. The office was clean and MODERN. Digital X-rays were a win! I was very pleased and would highly recommend Grove City Dental

MARIEBEL DID A FAST, PAINLESS, AND AWESOME JOB CLEANING MY TEETH. THE DENTIST WAS TRUTHFUL , DIDNT BEAT AROUND THE BUSH WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE, BUT STILL LEFT ME WITH OPTIONS. HE WAS PRACTICAL, BACK TO BEING TRUTHFUL, HE DIDNT WANT TO CUT INTO MY TEETH ANYMORE THAN ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! FOR EXAMPLE MAKE UP CAVITIES TO EARN AN EXTRA BUCK! HE ALSO ADDRESSED MY CONCERNS. I just had a root canal done. This was my first root canal, and they handled me so well. Staff there all they played in professional at all times. The girls in the back do the best they can and get you ready for the dentist to come see you. Dr. Layton does a very good job. He has extracted teeth and many other things for me his last meal and no pain or very little I would recommend them to anyone

I have been going to Grove City Dental for several years. Myself and my 3 granchildren that live with me. They have been so accommodating to us. The front staff is awsome to work with. My 19 month old had his 1st cleaning today and the hygienist and dentist did great at helping him calm down. With juice, a little dinosaur and toothbrush he got a cleaning and left happy about the dentist! Success!

I absolutely am a fan of the hygienists and dentist they do a great job making you feel comfortable and at ease.The reason for my 1 star review is the scheduling is a nightmare. They have called my husband and I multiple times to move our appointments around to earlier days then what we scheduled and act completely inconvenienced when we tell them no well stick to our original later date appointments. They say emergency dental services but thats not the case at all. I had my wisdom teeth pulled and ended up with a huge infection I could feel spreading up my face, down my throat, and under my gums across my entire mouth. Called on day 3 after my extraction which was a Friday to try and get into a dentist for some antibiotics. The receptionist said nope sorry nothing open until Tuesday at 4PM explained what was going on and she put me on hold came back said she could get me in at 12 on Tuesday. There was no sense of urgency or professionalism to help. I ended up having letting my tooth infection run rampant for 4 more days. By the time the dentist saw me I had a fever, couldnt open my mouth and couldnt talk my entire face from eyebrows to bottom of my neck were swollen from infection and I could barely swallow. Dentist gave me antibiotics and pain meds. Ended up in the emergency room the next day due to an allergic reaction called the emergency line no answer left a message was called back over 3 hours later. Told the receptionist I was in the emergency room and that the doctor wanted the dentist to switch my pain and antibiotics as they caused the allergic reaction all the receptionist said was well the dentist wont be in til Friday. Never offered to call the dentist and switch my meds nothing. Felt like she didnt even care. Emergency room doctor heard the entire call and prescribed me a new antibiotics and pain pill. Even commented how unprofessional that was and if this infection continued to spread it would go to my brain. Went to the dentist 5 days later to have my teeth cleaned no problems there however when they do cleanings they make 2 appointments. Made the 1st appointment fine. August 5th was my next appointment. I am currently stuck out of town due to work and I called to reschedule the other half of my cleaning for later in the month. THERE ARE NO APPOINTMENTS UNTIL SEPTEMBER. Asked to be put on a list to be called if anyone cancels but Ill be finding a new dentist in the meantime.

Excellent with scheduling appointments, if an opening becomes available before youre scheduled appoinrment, they call you as soon as possible!They are very perceptive when you explain why you are there and great with options of either getting all necessary work in one appointment or if you would like to break them up, as well as what your insurance does and doesnt cover.Dr. Larsen is very gentle!Ive had horrible experiences with dentists in the past but not with Dr. Larsen, he truly is amazing!The assistants are wonderful too!

Unimpressed with the lack of professionalism towards certain insurances...also unimpressed with receptionists discussing treatment plans with us instead of the dentist.

Excellent experience!!!! I have avoided going to the dentist because of how Ive been treated other places! This is an awesome dentist practice! everyone was so kind and made me so comfortable and it was pain free! I will definitely be making the drive from Idaho falls to be a patient here.

I received standard dental care, though the doctor did make one personal comment that I felt was inappropriate and irrelevant to my care. The real problem, though, is the front desk staff. When I missed her call (she called at around 8 AM and I work nights), she lectured me and refused to schedule for my dental emergency, a broken tooth. When I tried to make my feelings known WITHOUT yelling, cursing, threatening or attacking anyone personally, she yelled, became belligerent and hung up on me. I received a letter stating that they were dropping me as a patient. I was never given the opportunity to tell my side of the story which is WAY WRONG on the part of the doctor. Scheduling is a train wreck - I was asked to come early and left with anesthesia for well over an hour until the numbing wore off. AWFUL.

Definitely take back what I said. Terribly ran and the staff will literally refuse to help you because of one missed appointment. Mock you over the phone and just be flat out rude. They dont care if youre having a dental emergency or not. Dr. Burtenshaw is a great dr and I would definitely see him again. Its just the staff that are terrible.

I received a flyer from Grove City Dental offering a free cosmetic consultation. I couldnt be happier with my choice to see them. It had been almost two years since I had my braces off and although I was happy with the results, it wasnt the smile I imagined. Dr. Burtenshaw gave me honest information on what he could do to create more uniform teeth which helped me make the decision best for me. He and his staff were kind and helpful and I was happy with the end result. People kept asking me when I got my braces off and I hated to tell them it was two years ago. Ive waited over 40 years to have teeth I want to show off when I smile.

I have been going to Dr. Summers for several years, driving from Pocatello to his office in Idaho Falls (50 miles). I really appreciate that he has opened an office in Blackfoot, that is staffed with skilled and kind people. Dr. Summers is very professional and very skilled in his profession. I am very pleased with everything he has done for me. I would recomend him to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

Went there for an emergency having told them im petrified of the dentist i was put in the room and had to wait for over 1 hour. They extracted my tooth and let me leave the office i was in so much pain as it was a molar i was given no pain medication and was up all night in pain i did not go to work the next day. My husband went to get a dr note and they refused saying they dont do that. They have no empathy to individual patients . i definitely will not go back there.

Horrible place! Took my handicap uncle in there to get his teeth cleaned and they told me they couldn’t find his name birth date or Medicaid # through Medicaid. Horrible people. They just didnt want to treat a handicap person. I called Medicaid in the parking lot when I left and they said everything is up to date and on file. They are liars and a horrible company for turning down someone who’s handicap. Don’t ever go there
